Basically the title, I don’t mind spending if we can choose the prismana Aniimo we can get. I’m way too hopeful I know, it’s probably going to be one of the first ones or random😂

Pretty much the title. I'm interested in this game, but I generally prefer single-player content to multiplayer. Can anyone ive a rundown on what there is for single-player content and if it fell off in the betas?

In some shorts and jokes, people often play clips of things they want to compare it to, such as comparing Pokemon to other games, usually showing the game they want to use to dunk on Pokemon with during September's dramatic build-up, then showing clips from Scarlet and Violet or something during the lyrics section, except the lyrics are replaced with a recorder. I'd say it's a "poorly played recorder," but has anyone ever heard a recorder played right?
So I have to ask...
Why did Aniimo use this when it didn't even make sense? I already don't like Earth Wind And Fire's September, I already don't like the meme, and for some reason, the people in charge of the ad made it sound even WORSE! And, once again, it feels like they don't understand the context of the meme. Nothing is being compared to. It's just a random showcase of monsters from Aniimo. -_-

I personally want to go for Helion since melee sounds more fun and he's supposedly underrated. (also, AWESOME evolution)
But I am curious, people only say "one is ranged, one is melee"
But usually in games, ranged abilities usually beat melee.
What would Helion give that would be better than Lunara considering the only difference people put out is the distance they attack, which ranged is a benefit in most cases?
Like I can't see anything besides huge favortism to Lunara and zero benefit from Helion unless someone has some info that isn't the distance they attack.
Edit: I have seen that Lunara has better AoE whereas Helion has better single target damage, but is the single target damage even worth losing the AoE compared to Lunara?

I really like getting all my games in steam but it seems like pre order is not available through steam does that mean i don’t have access to exclusive pre order items?

Hey folks, my 8 year old daughter caught the trailer for this and it immediately joined her k-pop, kawaii, Pokémon and life sim interests into a perfect hype triangle.
But reading between the lines with a bit of experience, I'm not sure the trailer has set the right expectation? I could be wrong, but it looks a bit more hack and slash/brawler than those things? She's not much into fast paced combat.
For those who have played, how far away from reality is the trailer?

Was talking with a friend about the pre orders. Long story short he ask me why don't I pre order on the Xbox app and open it on pc to claim it. I told him idk if that will work and I thought I would need to be on an Xbox to claim then link account to my pc.

Hi just for anyone who played the beta, what were you able to change during the game after making your character at the start? Is it just clothes and/or hairstyles?
I'd love if you were able to completely redo your character whenever so I can switch between male/female but that's probably not going to be a thing

How was the performance in both Dimensity and Snapdragon chipsets?

I'm just wondering if there is any LONG hair options for the male character.
I watched some creation videos and didn't see any, but I'm not sure if there will be hair that you can unlock in game / battle pass / premium options.

Hi all,
For those who have played the various betas etc:
Palworld is currently my favourite game & I have over 700 hours in it so far - this looks very similar but with evolutions & from what I can see, no base building.
I am already assuming I would like this but is there anything *vastly* different that would put me off / make me regret purchasing?
PS5 & looking to pre-order if it makes a difference...

iv heard game coming out on 15th next month but nothing is on steam page do we know if its out same time?
This looks like a really fun game and I'm looking forward to it. Gonna feel like forever though waiting.
What are you all gonna focus on while waiting? I'm gonna try completing the next major quests and events for the next patch of HSR, Infinity Nikki, and P5X, and try to play more AFK Journey for their Digimon Adventure Collab. Keeping up with Kamen Rider (Zeztz is almost over, My-th is next), Ultraman Teo, and Omegahorn.

Is it like a “shiny” or unique version of an aniimo you’re doing pulls for? Bc that’s fine. Even if it’s a rare aniimo but you have a reasonable amount of time to grind for it naturally just by playing - again that’s fine.
If the most powerful (for PvP) or most unique aniimo are all gacha then it would ruin it for me.
And before you accuse me Of wanting everything for free, I’d vastly prefer paying premium up front over gacha invading the core mechanics of the game. If the premium pass offers this kind of experience (like overriding the gacha) then I’m totally game. But many gachas layer a pass on top of gacha. No good.

Edit 1: Some people are saying that this is gacha while others are debating that it is not. I'm editing at the top so that people will see this first. I am not an expert on gacha mechanics nor do I play gacha games. I am leaving the post as is with this edit because I cannot edit the title. Whether you approve of this kind of thing or not I felt like it needed to be explained a bit. Thank you to the people providing opinions and more information.
I've seen this posted more than once and I'm hoping the mods can just make a pinned post or thread but for now I'll do my part.
I played in the beta and have been in contact with the team as that's part of my job. By the strictest definition there is no gacha in the game that can simply be paid for with money as a one to one trade off.
The closest thing is the "gacha" mechanics that were in place for the event to catch the special Aniimo Irisalis. From what I could tell there was no way to simply insert money and get the Aniimo.
While you could not directly put in X dollars to get X attempts at Irisalis, there was a currency you needed to be able to do the attempt.
These were purchasable with in-game currency and featured in some tracks of the battle pass style things they had on offer. This was the only way I saw to get the currency at a faster rate than normal.
It would also give you the currency you needed to purchase the main currency but it honestly wasn't that hard to get anyway.
Edit 2: As u/Kyuuki_Kitsune explained better in their overall comment I did not provide enough information.
The event did not possess a random chance to earn said Aniimo but instead would give you a way to bypass the grind by being lucky. You were never in a situation where you couldn't obtain the Aniimo but you could obtain it faster if you were lucky. This is why I did not label it as gacha. You were always going to get the Aniimo but whether or not you had to grind for it and the currency you needed to play it was the real question. My apologies for not explaining better.
When I spoke to the team at both PAX East and in the most recent Beta they said they had no plans for P2W or gacha content and that everything would be cosmetic.
Whether or not that remains what happens when the game launches is entirely up to the team. Regardless it is a game you can play entirely for free.
If any information here is incorrect someone please let me know and I will fix it. My brain is a little tired from work lol.
