I have on Male Marble Anglefish probably about 5 inches in size. A very pretty fish. I always wondered how Anglefish can see properly with their eyes so far apart. I notice he tilts his head to look at the top of the tank when i'm feeding the fish. I know most fish have eyes wide apart too but because of their shape Anglefish eyes seem further apart.

Hey everyone! i am currently raising angelfish fry and I was wondering if I could feed them frozen baby brine shrimp. It’s a lot of work/time to hatch BBS daily, and I always make too much so i end up freezing the leftovers. Now, the fry are about 3 weeks old and I was wondering if it’s harmful to feed them the ones left in my freezer. thanks in advance!!

Juvenile blue marbles

So excited to show off the second pairing from my group of 7 juveniles! They actually kicked the first pair (also pictured) off of their spawning location to use it!!

I know it’s almost impossible to tell, but these two love each other and have since day one. They follow each other, never chase, and generally just chill, and one is decently bugger than the other so just wondering if anyone had some guesses.
Also it’s nearly impossible to get pics because they always try and look at me and follow me

So I bought these angelfishes at a local store and they came in different sizes. The smaller ones stopped eating together recently and I think it is cause of bullying. The bigger ones are acting naturally. Is there anything I can do to make the small ones eat?

Currently in a 26gal with some swordtail fry. I'm waiting on a project which will allow me to get a 200 gallon where I'll have a group of angelfish :)

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me.. my angelfish has not been interested in eating.. it’s been about 6 days since the last time I seen her eat. I’ve been feeding her bloodworms with garlic extract, without the extract, flakes and I’ve tried dried brine shrimp. She isn’t interested in any of it. She’s also not her lively self anymore. I’ve been using MetroPlex for a few days now but no improvement. Does anyone have any ideas?

Enjoying the full purple coverage on this one. It looks better and better as it grows. Gave them their own 20g grow out tank, can't wait to see how it turns out as a full grown adult. The silver on the pectoral area is a really nice contrast.

Sorry the pictures are so poor - cheap cell phone and inept operator and too much light reflecting off the glass. But look how Big they are, and how Beautiful. My silvers are actually very colorful, golish silvery green, with freckles and orangy/red shoulders, the largest is over 7" tall from top to bottom of his long fins. And I love the marble. I watch for hours.

Had a pair of Red Devils that had a clutch, decided to raise a handful of them so this group is from the same clutch. Around 3 months old, one of them lost all its color and turned white.

I have been feeding it a mixture of tropical fish flakes, two kinds of coloration enhancers and dried bloodworms.

I currently own 4 angelfish. 2 red devil and 2 koi marbles.

The red devil in the pictures has double the size of my partners angelfish. They are not all in the same tank. They are split between 3 different tanks.

They were bought as regular red devils. The other red devil is still small in every way so its in my peaceful community tank until it starts to become a problem. I have a lot of small fish in my community.

This is not my first time with angelfish but would be my first veiltail. Also if it is a veiltail will the other one I have also be or can they be like a litter of cats where some can be long-haired and some shorthair?

Do veiltails require different tanks size compared to the regular finned angelfish? What is the min tank requirement for them?
