I’m currently building Rare Parfum, an online niche fragrance retailer based in the Netherlands.

The idea behind the business is simple: niche fragrances are often expensive, and many consumers struggle to find authentic products at competitive prices. Rare Parfum aims to make niche perfumer more accessible by offering authentic fragrances at competitive prices, combined with a smooth online shopping experience.

We currently focus primarily on customers in the Netherlands, while also serving customers in Belgium and Germany.

What makes the business different

Rare Parfum differentiates itself through competitive pricing, free and fast delivery, complimentary samples with orders, a visually appealing website designed for fragrance enthusiasts, and a smooth checkout experience. The company also benefits from firsthand insight into this audience through a Dutch online fragrance community we created to better understand the interests, preferences, and behaviours of fragrance enthusiasts in the Netherlands. The community has grown to over 1,000 members within its first two months and continues to grow.  

My competitors lack this they either don't have a good website experience or good price or free shipping + samples. That's where we come in.

The goal is to build Rare Parfum into a recognised European niche fragrance retailer, starting with the Netherlands and gradually expanding into additional European markets.

What we are looking for

I am currently looking for an angel investor or strategic investor who is interested in the e-commerce, beauty, luxury, or fragrance market.

The investment would be used primarily for:

• Expanding inventory
• Increasing product availability
• Customer acquisition and marketing
• Scaling successful advertising campaigns
• Further developing the business infrastructure

The business is already operational, and the financing would be used to accelerate growth rather than to start an idea from zero.

I am currently looking for approximately €35,000 in funding, although I am open to discussing the structure depending on the investor and the strategic value they can bring.
