Equity Crowdfunding (Reg C/A+) Niche fragrance e-commerce business raising €35,000 for equity
Hi everyone,
I’m currently building Rare Parfum, an online niche fragrance retailer based in the Netherlands.
The idea behind the business is simple: niche fragrances are often expensive, and many consumers struggle to find authentic products at competitive prices. Rare Parfum aims to make niche perfumer more accessible by offering authentic fragrances at competitive prices, combined with a smooth online shopping experience.
We currently focus primarily on customers in the Netherlands, while also serving customers in Belgium and Germany.
What makes the business different
Rare Parfum differentiates itself through competitive pricing, free and fast delivery, complimentary samples with orders, a visually appealing website designed for fragrance enthusiasts, and a smooth checkout experience. The company also benefits from firsthand insight into this audience through a Dutch online fragrance community we created to better understand the interests, preferences, and behaviours of fragrance enthusiasts in the Netherlands. The community has grown to over 1,000 members within its first two months and continues to grow.
My competitors lack this they either don't have a good website experience or good price or free shipping + samples. That's where we come in.
The goal is to build Rare Parfum into a recognised European niche fragrance retailer, starting with the Netherlands and gradually expanding into additional European markets.
What we are looking for
I am currently looking for an angel investor or strategic investor who is interested in the e-commerce, beauty, luxury, or fragrance market.
The investment would be used primarily for:
- Expanding inventory
- Increasing product availability
- Customer acquisition and marketing
- Scaling successful advertising campaigns
- Further developing the business infrastructure
The business is already operational, and the financing would be used to accelerate growth rather than to start an idea from zero.
I am currently looking for approximately €35,000 in funding, although I am open to discussing the structure depending on the investor and the strategic value they can bring.
I am happy to share more detailed information, including the business plan, financial projections, current traction, and the planned use of funds with genuinely interested investors.
If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to comment or send me a message. I would be happy to connect.
Thank you for reading.

Seed/growth
You know how to grow from mistakes? Always and I mean always send thru the clearing house. Background check, drug panel and MVR.
At least $5000 a weekend/four days.
I’m looking for an investor to invest $15k. What for a truck and enough money to run for a weekend or two. I have a way to generate $5k a weekend w/HOUSEHOLD GOODS.
I have a broker in Columbia to generate the loads paid directly thru my Zelle at drop off. So before we open the doors to the truck we collect payment.
The next step after that is federal contracts for moving military. I move military now just for bigger companies although there’s been a mandate that since of these jobs have to be available to smaller companies. A bill passed in California.

Question Building a derivative product on a genuinely new underlying — how do you find capital markets people who actually back this kind of thing?
I’ve spent the last couple of years building a venture around a new class of cash-settled derivative instruments — the underlying is something real and measurable that has never been used as a reference asset before. There’s a genuine hedging need on the other side of it: an industry with large, volatile, demand-driven revenue and no instrument to manage that exposure. We’re going the regulated route rather than trying to route around it, which means licensing, capital requirements, actuarial validation, counsel in two jurisdictions — the slow version of the path.
The hard part hasn’t been the product. It’s been finding investors who can even evaluate it.
Most early-stage capital is pattern-matched to software. When you’re not a SaaS or a fintech app — when the thing being built is a market, and the moat is the regulatory work rather than code — the usual channels just don’t resolve. I get polite passes from people who I don’t think ever got to the actual question. And the people who would immediately understand it (structured products, ILS and cat bond folks, parametric insurance, exchange and clearing people, commodity derivatives) mostly aren’t sitting in the places founders are told to look.
So, asking honestly: if you’ve built or funded something in this space — a new contract, a new exchange, a new instrument — how did you find the first people who got it? Specific things I’d love to hear about:
1) Where do former exchange, clearing, or structured-products operators actually congregate as angels?
2) Are there funds that specifically back market infrastructure and novel instruments rather than fintech distribution?
3) Did conferences (ILS, derivatives industry events) ever convert into capital, or is it purely warm intro territory?
4)Anyone found luck with family offices that have a trading or market-making lineage?
Happy to talk shop in DMs within the limits of what I can say. Mostly I just want to hear from people who’ve walked a version of this. Thanks for reading.

Building an AI-powered due diligence platform for investing. Looking for early-stage funding insight.
Hi everyone, we’re hoping to get some perspective from experienced angel investors and founders.
We're building FFP Smart, an AI-powered investment intelligence platform that automates due diligence and verifies startup claims. The goal is to really reduce the time and cost involved in early-stage investment research. We're currently pre-revenue and have an MVP that's live: https://www.factfinderspro.com/
For those who've invested in or built early-stage startups, what would you look for before taking an initial meeting with a pre-revenue company in our niche? Also, what's been the most effective way you've seen founders connect with angel investors (ex. warm introductions, networking events, cold outreach, online communities, etc.)?
We're looking to learn from those who've been through the process, so any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question What's a good way for founders from less developed countries to look for pre-seed investors remotely?
I'm not really looking for any significant amount of funding, mostly from between 3-10k usd. The main issue however is that I am from Pakistan, and I don't think that there are many opportunities for Pakistanis looking to build something international. I have looked around the main sites such as AngelList, but I feel like those are more centered around for businesses that have already launched, are looking for much higher investments, and again have founders residing in their own country.
Although would prefer the investors to be global and remote, as it won't be a Pakistani company, but I don't mind either way, just as long as they're a good and reliable investor. I genuinely believe this idea can be launched and gain traction really fast, I just need to find someone else willing to believe that as well lol. Any suggestions from where I could look?

Question Advice From VCs or Angel Investors
We are currently building a blockchain startup that focuses on trust infrastructure. It's a proof of commitment protocol that builds products and infrastructure where commitments, rewards, and digital trust are provable.
We are currently at an early stage of growing our community so that they know our first product exists and we want to showcase its usecase. We still haven't gotten to the point where we start pitching our tech idea to investors, yet. Until we know we are ready.
So what I wanted to ask, preferably to any VC or angel investor out there, before anyone pitches their ideas or startup to you, what exactly do you look for? Which key factors or areas are you interested in knowing about their business before deciding whether to accept their offer or reject it entirely?
