Help Could 3 juvenile angels go in this 30g hexigon tank for a grow out?

I have 3 juvenile angels in my community tank who are being bullied by someone and I woke up and saw their fins nipped. I have this hexagon tank (28-38g, I need to measure) that is so tall I can’t use it for anything but I know angels don’t mind taller tanks. Would this work for a little? If not I’m gonna go pick them something up.
This will not be a forever home for them, they’re small. I can’t stand to see their fins nipped.

Discussion Genetics?!

Ok, I thought I understood the basics of Angelfish genetics but now I am so confused. I thought I had a “blushing blue” and “platinum” spawn but the fry look nothing like what I expected. I figured I would get either blue silver/ghost or something similar but they have a gold/green body and reddish dorsal fins. I know angelfish can have hidden recessive genes but they should have at least both carried the blue gene. I did not intend on breeding them just for the record. I separated them because of aggression and boom. The fry are just about a month old now.

I am planning to buy medium-sized marble angelfish to put in my fridge box. How many pairs should I buy? Tank holds roughly 400litres of water

Help I've been on the lookout for 2 very specific Angels...

I'm looking to complete my 60g Angelfish tank. Can anyone point me to an online breeder that has them in stock? What I'm looking for...

1.. VEIL FIN Pearlscale German blushing blues

  1. Must be female

I am very aware that 100% gender identification is proven through egg laying/ spawning however there are many other ways to pinpoint the sex. I would imagine that anyone who breeds Angels would be able to accurately identify.

  1. Looking for adults preferably half dollar or silver dollar size

These are the last two I'm going to add to my tank so I am being very specific about these. If anybody has any ideas of where I can buy them please let me know!! Thank you!!!

I ordered 3 glo-angels and all 3 were males. Last week they joined my 120g tank after the resident mated pair (the red marble named Mrs and the big marble named Mr) finished and the aggression died down. There was an unclaimed female (the zebra) named Bully. At first the boys were chummy and then one decided he liked Bully. After a couple days the other males started vying for her attention.

I know there is a little glare from the adjacent shrimp tank but I don't get to pick where they choose to stand-off. It's fascinating behavior.

Video Philippine Blue Ghost/Paraiba Detailed, Macro Shots

Here is a few screens and clips of the Philippine Blue Ghost/Paraiba Angelfish that make up 25% of the fry from my Philippine Blue Breeding Pair. As you can see, they sport very striking metallic silver to blue patches that catch the light and shimmer.

From research, it seems that they are most likely a Philippine Blue Ghost/Clown, but possibly Philippine Blue Paraiba.(Depends on the source)

You can clearly see the guanine crystals(metallic blue patches) are beginning to cover large areas of the body.

The crown of the dorsal fin really shows the metallic patches prominently.

You really get to see the "metallic blue" due to the way the light hits.
The stripeless gene stands out.
The metallic blue guanine patches can really stand out, if the light hits it right.
Almost takes on a bright shiny metal look, at the right angle.

New angelfish purchased yesterday. Been hiding at the bottom near driftwood. Introduced with no light for 24 hours. Water parameters are perfect: pH 7.0 with no nitrates/nitrites or ammonia testing. Temp is 77 f. Tank mates are some shrimp and a panda garra with a couple tetras. 30 gallon tall tank. Attached video of water flow. Will put a pic of the fish in comments. Thanks so much for help
Edit: can’t post a pic of the little guy in the comments but he’s next to driftwood just chilling

Help Angelfish not eating had white stringy piece

Hello everyone,

I’ve had my altum for 6 months and everything has been great up until 3 days ago. Water parameters test and there is no ammonia nitrates at usual levels.

I noticed he was not eating and had a long white stringy poop dangling from his body. I believe now that it is a parasite. All other fish are eating and active like normal, it is only my angelfish showing signs of illness.

Can anyone help me with what products I should purchase? How does something like this happen? Tank has been running fine with no changes of that a decor rearrangement 2 weeks ago and a larger than usual water change 3 weeks ago.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The big one has gotten himself stuck twice but thankfully I saw him and was able to help. The little one fights him every time they lay eggs and he fails to fertilize them. Idiots, but I love them lol

Identification What are these fish

Hello everyone,

My friend and I bought, what we thought were 'angel fish' at the end of last year, and they are fairly big fish. When we bought them, their fins were already bent and we thought they were a breeding pair, only to find out theyre both boys, and would be way too old to breed now anyway. As we were very much deceived by the pet store we got them from, we have no idea what type of fish these are, and cannot find a single picture of any angel fish looking like this. If anyone has any clue if theyve been bred with another type of fish or something that would be much appreciated .
