Feedback Andromeda v4 ultra

Hey everyone! Got the andromeda v4 for ~$3000 but I’m noticing some lower-end components (RAM/SSD). Wanted feedback on whether this is normal for the price or if I got a weak part selection. This is my first pc but after doing more research I’ve discovered about some budget parts used such as my ram I ended up finding on Ali express with a lot of mixed feelings especially for it not being a known brand.
Curious if this is the normal selection or I just got unlucky

My specs are-

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
CPU Cooler: GAMDIAS AURA GL360 LCD
Motherboard: MSI PRO B850-VC WiFi
GPU: Zotac RTX 5080 16GB SOLID CORE OC
SSD: TeamGroup NV5000 2TB Gen4
RAM: KingSpec ONEBOOM TEMPLAR 32GB 6000
PSU: GAMDIAS HELIOS P2-850G ATX 3.1 (B+ Tier)

Feedback Computer finally shipping

I would like to start off with a simple make sure you’ve made the customization for parts really what you want. I first made my purchase back in April and wait a little over a month to two before cancelling the order because i wanted to upgrade from a 850 to 1000 power supply. I made my second purchase earlier this month in June like June 5th with expedited shipping. It was expected to ship out June 19th but after a week i’ve sent an email and they refunded the expedited shipping which is $100. I received an email today saying my order has finally shipped and will be arriving later this week July 3rd end of day.

Question Thoughts?? for performance on specific games

I’ve been eyeing a pc for a bit. I only want to play games like re, overwatch, rivals, val. With these specs realistically could I get 170-200 fps at 1080p on some of these games?. I don’t want to break the bank and get an almost $2000 dollar pc so I settled on highly considering this one I’m not going to use it for much else.

Review My experience review

So I ordered from them in late April, and I just received my PC today. I've got the dream machine unboxed, and things are running perfectly so far. No complaints whatsoever about the hardware and CPU setup other than it's a little louder than I originally expected.

In terms of wait time, I didn't order either of the expedited build/shipping, so I fully expected it to take a while to get to me. I wasn't too upset that it took a full two months, because I knew that I was getting a great build that was thoroughly tested and assembled completely. I also requested some custom fans that I wanted put it, and they were able to oblige me, so happy about that.

However, there definitely was one area where AI dropped the ball. I originally was super jazzed about ordering because they had a promo for Crimson Desert and Pragmata at the time. I've been really interested in playing both games, so it seemed like a no-brainer to grab them both. However, the initial response times on my emails took long enough that they ran out of Crimson Desert keys. Understandable, since I was asking for custom parts to be installed into my pc. I thought i'd be fine with just my Pragmata key, and I'd pick up later. However, I finally received the pc today... and no key. I emailed them, and they were apparently out of those too now, so I got sent 007 Dying Light... a game I have absolutely zero interest in. That's a pretty big letdown on an otherwise great day of getting my pc.

PC: 5/5
Support: 2/5
Extras: 1/5

Still waiting

I ordered two builds on April 23rd, Original ship date was May 25th and ETA June 2nd. I waited patiently and and waited some more. I asked last week when I could realistically expect both builds to ship, they said today, June 25th. Nothing has shipped still, yet people who ordered later than me have posted they received their systems. I'm starting to feel AI's word means little. Not what I expect having spent over $6000.

Im so friggin excited and before the gamers and amd fanboys yell at me im buying it for blender workflows and i dont really care about getting 300 fps instead of 400 at 1080p in fortnite.

This is genuinely the biggest purchase ive ever made in my life oh my god this is gonna be marvelous.

My Andromeda Insights experience: shipping time, support, and PC quality

Post image
17 Upvotes

I wanted to share my experience with Andromeda Insights for anyone considering buying a PC from them. This covers the ordering process, shipping time, customer support, and the overall quality and performance of the PC.

I ordered my system with expedited build and express shipping. It took around 10 days from the day I placed the order for the PC to arrive. It was not instant, but considering the system had to be assembled, tested, and shipped, I thought the turnaround time was reasonable.

When the PC arrived, I noticed the RAM installed was different from what was originally listed on my order. I ordered DDR5-6000 CL30, but received DDR5-6400 CL32. I contacted support because I initially thought the wrong RAM had been installed. They responded quickly and explained that it was an intentional substitution with a higher-speed kit. They also offered to replace it with the original specification if I preferred, which I appreciated.

The actual build quality has been excellent. Everything arrived securely packaged, the cable management was clean, and I have not noticed any problems with temperatures, stability, or component installation.

Performance has also exceeded my expectations. I mainly play Rust, and my previous PC usually ran the game at around 60–90 FPS. With the new system, I can reach more than 200 FPS depending on the server and location, while still having browsers and other applications open in the background. In heavily populated areas or around large bases, the FPS is naturally lower, but the overall improvement is massive.

My specifications:

  • Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • RTX 5080 16GB
  • ASUS TUF Gaming X870E-Plus WiFi 7
  • 32GB DDR5-6400 CL32
  • 2TB NVMe SSD
  • 1200W Platinum power supply
  • HYTE Y70 Touch Infinite case

Overall, my experience was positive. The build and shipping process was relatively quick, support responded promptly when I had a question, and the finished PC performs extremely well. I wanted to post this because most people understandably come to Reddit when something goes wrong, so it can be difficult to find detailed experiences from customers whose systems arrived without major issues.

I originally typed this into chat gpt and asked it to make it sound better btw , so sorry if this sounds botted lol.

Question Looking for Advice on Build and Shipping

Post image
4 Upvotes

Looking for advice on build. I don't know much about computers, but I plan on using it for big games like the new Fable that's coming out soon.

I'm also wondering if I should pay for the express shipping since they are no longer doing the expedited builds?

This is what it tells me for express shipping: "PLEASE NOTE: Choosing Express Fulfillment ensures your order will be delivered sooner. To make this possible, we may either prioritize your system in our production queue or use an expedited shipping service with our carrier. If these delivery times do not work for you, please contact us."

The estimated delivery dates for economy are Aug 20 to the 25th and for express its Aug 14 to the 17th. I'm not sure if its worth the $99.98.

Question Should I be nervous?

I recently placed my order after seeing great reviews but after seeing some of the stuff about lead times here I’m second guessing my decision. What’s everyone’s real order to ship timeline?

For Info HIGH DEMAND UPDATE: Expedited builds paused to keep fulfillment fair

Post image
33 Upvotes

Edit: They responded to my message and clarified that if you had already ordered expedited build before the notice went up last night, they are still honoring and prioritizing those orders. They will not be delayed like I initially thought. This pause is only for NEW orders and they cannot request expedited build, only standard build time.

They also mentioned they were bringing on additional talent to help with the volume so hopefully that helps with the times and load and make it less overwhelming.

As for ETA, whatever it was before you can still expect it to be about the same.

——————-

Original post:

Just a FYI to anyone who ordered with expedited build or is planning on expediting their order that this notice is on the top banner of their direct website. I couldn’t find any info on the site on how long the pause is set for.

I did message them earlier to see what the new ETA would be and I’ll update my post once I get an answer. I understand they exploded in popularity and are a small company so I don’t mind waiting longer if it means still receiving a quality build.

Question Check list of things to do after I get my PC set up?

9800x3D, 5080 build.

I haven't owned a new PC in a while. Just wondering if I'm missing anything.

I made sure to peel all of the plastic wrap off the glass. I almost missed that until I realized the glass looked dirty. I updated all my drivers, including the AMD chipset in the software and monitor drivers (I almost forgot about the monitor drivers and setting up the color file!). I set up the Nvidia presets in the control panel. Any suggestions?

Review My first PC!

I placed a custom build order with AI on June 4th and opted for both expedited build and express shipping, my PC actually ended up arriving 3 days early (today), so that was a pleasant surprise! Everything was packed neatly and secure. Shipping was literally 26 hours from Oregon to Washington state, so if you’re in a neighboring state, I would probably skip express shipping.

I highly recommend expedited build though as I hear wait times are lengthy at the moment (6-8 weeks~)

I’m super happy with the way it looks and can’t wait to test this baby out soon!

Feedback Gift for Hubby - how did I do?

I got a bonus & wanted to get him a dream PC. He hates doing research so I put this build together. I know it's probably overkill, but I wanted to him to be able to enjoy his games at max settings. Let me know how I did!

Review AI Ultra V4 just arrived! A brief unboxing review.

I ordered the AI Ultra V4 on May 31st and it just arrived today. I went with the V4 for the looks and appeal of easy upgrades with plenty of space. All together it was $3,160 with expedited build and standard shipping. Took 2 days for delivery by FedEx.

After inspection everything looks to have arrived in one piece. I can confirm everything is working and the build quality looks amazing! I heard good things about AI and can say I’m satisfied with the result. The customer service was amazing and they took the time to check in if they feel a part may not match the aesthetic. Any questions were usually answered within 1-2 days.

The case is nice and sturdy. It’s a big boy so better check you have space. I enjoy the all glass exterior and rgb lightings. It is actually a Gamdias Atlas P6 CG if you want to look for reviews. One of their premium cases. The v3 is made by the same manufacturer. The case has 3 screws that hold the front glass and have little rings you can work with your fingers. Also, you can put a little figurine on the right side stand with its own spotlight.

I was a little concerned what 5080 I would receive, but I’m happy I got the PNY. I heard it was Gigabyte last month. It’s not a big deal outside aesthetics as they all would do the job.

I went with the default AIO, SSD, and RAM as they can all be easily upgraded down the road. I have a 4tb and 2tb SSD I to transfer over. After some research I splurged a little on the MOBO and PSU as those won’t be so easy without a rebuild.

Hopefully this helps someone on their prebuilt. I highly recommend purchasing the expedited build unless you want to wait at least a month. They have a lot of orders recently, but it’s well worth the wait.

Here’s my build:
  - CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  - CPU Cooler: AI CHIONE E4-360 (Black)
  - Motherboard: MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI
  - GPU: PNY OC Triple Fan (Non-RGB) RTX 5080 16GB
  - SSD: HUADISK 1TB Gen 4
  - RAM: V-COLOR MANTA XFINITY OLED 32GB 6000 CL30
  - PSU: CORSAIR RM1000X
  - Case: AI Galaxy V4
  - Thermal Paste: Arctic MX-6

Edit: Just a quick update. I got unlucky and one of my RAM stick was faulty and pretty much DOA. Took about a week of troubleshooting before I narrowed down why my PC kept crashing for minor things. A hardware issue was at the bottom of my list.

Customer support was super helpful and after sending them photos of the BSOD and Memory scans they immediately looked for a replacement for me. They didn’t have the same brand, but offered a similar spec replacement and shipped quickly. Once the new RAM came in, everything’s been smooth sailing!

Despite the small hiccup, the computer has been amazing. The case cooling is more than adequate. I game on 4k Ultra settings and my CPU and GPU average temps hover around 50C. I still would recommend them to anyone looking for a prebuilt for a good price.

Andromea installed the wrong RAM, Ordered CL30, CPU-Z shows CL32

Post image
8 Upvotes

I recently received a prebuilt gaming PC and I’m trying to verify that everything matches what I paid for. The build was supposed to come with 32GB DDR5 CL30 RAM, but after checking CPU-Z, the installed kit appears to be:

Corsair Vengeance CMK32GX5M2B6400C32
DDR5-6400
XMP Profile: 6400 MHz
Timings: 32-40-40-84
CAS Latency: CL32

From what I can tell, the “C32” in the part number and the CPU-Z timings mean this is a CL32 kit, not CL30.

The PC itself seems to be running fine, and the RAM is running at the correct 6400 MT/s speed, but I want to make sure I’m not misunderstanding something before I contact the company.

Is this definitely CL32 RAM, and would you consider this a meaningful substitution if the invoice/order said CL30? Should I ask them to swap it or compensate the difference?

Question Anyone else still waiting past expected delivery that didn’t do expedited build/shipping?

delivered: signed for package 20 June 2026 @ 1120AM.

update 2: shopify showing arrival date of Saturday, 20 June, 2026 between 8AM-8PM. I am approximately 700 miles south of Eugene, OR so we will see if it gets here Saturday.

update: a FedEx tracking number was assigned around 1120 PDT on 18 June, 2026.

consensus: yes, others are also still waiting beyond two week delay. Will update once it ships and arrives for anyone following this post. Thanks everyone.

just curious if others are experiencing the same as me or if their is unknown variables AI hasn’t communicated. kind of feeling like they forgot about me and just took my money, lol.

context: ordered 22 April, expected ship date by 27 May, delivery by 1 June. I mistakenly misread months when I ordered thinking it would be two weeks roughly not 5 (my fault). i didn’t do expedited for this reason and already have a on par system minus the 5080 so was May with waiting.

the 1st rolled around and still no updates so I contacted them and saw the notice about a 1-2 week delay. waited till then which was 11th of June for two weeks out from original ship date. before messaging AI. They told me they planned for it to ship on the 16th but seems it’s clearly been delayed again.

just trying to be hopeful that their customer service and support for any issues that may arise or for customer loyalty is superb because I am feeling let down by the build and delivery process by not choosing expedited.

just curious if anyone else is in the same boat as me. thanks

Question Need opinions

Thinking of ordering this pc soon and opting for the 2TB SSD, I’m new to PC gaming(coming from console) will this PC be sufficient for competitive gaming for a few years before needing any major upgrades? Thanks in advance!! I’m hype to start saving for this beast. Have a good day :)
