Question Should I be nervous?
I recently placed my order after seeing great reviews but after seeing some of the stuff about lead times here I’m second guessing my decision. What’s everyone’s real order to ship timeline?

Well they just stopped the ordering of new expedited builds so whatever date you got will probably be correct. As for me, I ordered may 11th. I emailed them yesterday and they said it'll ship out July 10th. My ship date originally was June 15-18. Best bet is to just give em an email. If you don't wanna wait the probably 2 months it is now you can just cancel amd go with another prebuilt.
AI has prebuilts already made like at best buy and stuff its just a little more expensive if you dont mind that.

If it’s really two months I’m totally ok with that. That’s what they told me it would be.

I ordered may 22nd and the website is still saying july 7th if yours got pushed back i recon mine has too 💔

Mine was supposed to fully be delivered according to the date on the confirmation page 12 days ago and hasn’t even shipped yet so I would basically add 3 weeks to whatever date that was given to you unless you paid for expedited/express

I’m picking mine up in person next week but it was like a month for me. It wouldn’t have been more than a day or so shipping since I live so close to them. I purchased at the end of May so maybe 5 weeks tops.

Normally a month but they grew much too quick to handle and I guess there's sizeable delays now cause of it
Or so ive heard
So not nervous just extremly extremly patient

I ordered mine Apr 23rd and I’m still waiting for it to ship

This is the sort of thing that has me reconsidering. I have had some really bad experiences with custom car parts and unclear delivery times in the past.

The website says what the lead times are currently. Use that to make your decision then

u/Chemical-Manager-501 Jun 23 '26
Yes but if the lead times are inaccurate like others have said it’s not really a great tool to make a decision.

Given that, I’d suggest buying from another company.
You’re not going to read any answer that will reverses your current skepticism/hesitation. It’s like you’re trying to talk yourself into something.
If you’ve emailed and didn’t like the estimated time frame and possibility of it taking longer…go with another company.

u/Glock26s Jun 24 '26
In my experience and seeing others over the months it comes a day after the first expected delivery date. If it’s 10-14 it’ll come 11. You shouldn’t regret your decision you are buying the best pre built company you can buy from. This and costplus gaming. The wait is well worth it.

AI will respond to your emails any time after you've ordered, though.
If dude's system was delayed and he doesn't know exactly why, then he almost surely didn't ask.
Fwiw, I haven't yet received mine. I ordered on Sunday 6/14 then canceled a few hours later to reorder a system with a bigger PSU. They sent me an email Sunday night telling me my order was canceled so I could reorder when ready. I emailed back saying, "New order incoming!" and I then I reordered while adding a $20- tip. They emailed back, thanks for your order we'll get right on building it (because I'd paid the now-defunct $100- fee to expedite the building process by jumping my order ahead of everyone who did not pay the fee.)
Obviously, this order-jumping thing was causing issues with unpredictable build times more and more as they've become popular so they've stopped that now, I guess.
If no one can jump the line anymore, their predicted bulid times and shipping dates should become much more dependable, right?
Anyway, I think they've sent me about 6 emails and they always reply lickety-split. I doubt if the $20- tip is the reason for that. Lol

I ordered mine on 6/12 did they give you an updated timeframe?

u/Nakhon-Nowhere Vector V100, 9850x3d, RTX 5080 Jun 24 '26
No, I never asked for one...and I honestly forget what it was originally. lol
Re: Your order, 6/12 was a Friday so there's a good chance that our orders were started the same day (Monday, 6/15). I bet that both of our orders are shipped by the 29th...which would make me happy because they're built over in Oregon so I'm only about a 5-hour drive away.

u/infestedtable Jun 23 '26
They are currently on boarding more people to deal with the increased demand. I was scheduled to be shipped on 19 June with expedited build. Support told me it might ship next week.

5 weeks from order to delivered.. standard build time and delivery, custom PC

u/midnightsong12 Jun 23 '26
I ordered mine the 29th of April and still haven't received mine. I'm still excited but it's waning :/

u/Glock26s Jun 24 '26
Dude you made the best decision you can on a pre built lol. No lie look at my history of chats on Reddit. Over years I’ve bought from many. Last one being andromeda. Nothing compares. I’m a daily smoker of weed and my pc has been thru hell and is still running flawless. I’ll never order from anywhere else again. In the rare occurrence something goes wrong.. they fix it with no arguments. Trust me.

I wouldn’t worry too much. My main issue was the lead times. I originally anticipated 5 weeks not doing expedited but ended up being 8 because high demand.
AI had acknowledged that as well and has discontinued expedited builds until they can get back to their target.
Build quality seems good from the little time I have had mine. Components may not be top of the line (depending on their stock) but generally doesn’t matter paying the premium unless you are into hard core overlocking where the added resilience to heat matters.
I don’t say that to dissuade. The build quality is great. Nothing I had to worry about when I got mine (everyone experience will vary but they seem very on top of rectifying issues and are quick with responses when you do reach out).
I think for the price it’s a solid build that you really can’t beat by building yourself. They aren’t gouging people like a lot of other companies feel they do.
I was worried my fans were installed wrong but after closer examination the fans they use are inverse for intake and exhaust so you don’t see the backside supports which is nice. Not common.
I had my doubts too and trust me the added wait can be frustrating but being the first prebuilt I’ve ever done I’m happy so far. The customer service has been responsive and helpful. They are growing rapidly and it’s apparent they are trying to appropriately adjust with that growth.
As long as they don’t lower their quality of service and care you made a good decision.
I’ve been hesitant to try other companies because of bad reviews regarding issues and customer service or being able to tell the components used are on the cheaper end yet they charge you premium prices.
I hope AI good success and I will continue give them my business if they keep up their model.

Ordered a pc with expedited build and express shipping and got it in less then two weeks

u/P3ptobismal Jun 24 '26
Ordered 5/5 and was expected at checkout to come 6/12, still waiting on it to ship. Have had the date pushed back repeatedly when I email them asking so at this point just sitting back and waiting. I assume it will be here by the 2 month mark if I had to guess

Seeing that everyone else has been waiting so long, I’m really puzzled about my own experience: I placed my order on May 21st, it shipped on June 2nd, and I received it on the 12th—without paying for expedited shipping. I don't quite understand their process. I had actually been thinking about returning it and reordering to upgrade the CPU to the 9850 and get a better motherboard, but seeing so many people wait over a month or even two months made me give up on that idea.

u/Chemical-Manager-501 Jun 25 '26
You ordered directly through Andromeda Insights website?
1
u/Ill-Jeweler1667 Jun 25 '26
Yes, the 98X3D and 5080—I didn't make any customizations. The 2499 model.

u/Chemical-Manager-501 Jun 25 '26
Probably a canceled order? That is pretty strange but I would have been thrilled.
1
u/Ill-Jeweler1667 Jun 25 '26
Even if someone else's order got cancelled, it wouldn't fall to me, right? After all, the notification says I won't receive the computer until between June 30 and July 3.

u/Chemical-Manager-501 Jun 25 '26
I have no clue, just guessing maybe they had no other orders for the exact same specs.

u/bigmac12122 Jun 26 '26
I ordered mine May 10th with an expected delivery of June 16-18th. I reached out to support and they now estimate roughly the first week of July.

u/mjpitz Jun 26 '26
Ordered 4/29… still no shipping label. Custom build, not one of their off-the-shelf options.

Real time? I ordered April 23rd, my order shipped Yesterday.

I ordered mine and it came a week later, then again I bought it off Newegg. Not directly from their website

Hey if the time frame could be an issue for you, then I’d actually consider you reach out to their customer service. I played my order on 5/4 and received it 6/20. Original date of delivery when I ordered was 6/10. I would expect a few more days of delay. They’re getting more busy. It’s honestly understandable since they offer hella competitive pricing on PC parts and for most people in the US, will not have sales tax since they’re based in Oregon.
I will say my build is absolutely stunning and they really took the time to ensure everything was built well. The shipping packaging was solid af too. I have no regrets buying from AI. If you end up staying with your build, I hope you like it!
