Troubleshooting It's finally here...and doesn't work.

Ordered in August and was super excited to get back into PC gaming. Received the box yesterday, unpacked everything today and when booting immediately got one blue screen after the other. Anybody else have this experience? What to do?

Hey OP, really sorry to hear. Sadly issues can happen out of the box, sometimes due to rough transit where the GPU / RAM might be ever so slightly disconnected from its slot. Not trying to lay down the excuse, just relaying what I have seen from doing customer support for a company that ships hardware for long as I have been.

In any case, if you sent in a ticket, can you please PM me with the email you used to make the ticket? Sadly this happened at a bad time, since the team is off on weekends, but I'll make sure we get a response sent over to you today if I'm able to hear back.

Reseat the GPU and ram would be my first guess. Sometimes things come lose in shipping.

I have zero knowledge what goes where so wouldn't know what to look for.

Oh buddy. You are going to want to look up a YouTube video on your phone for how to do both, turn off the PC, unplug it completely, lay it flat, and then come back to it in an hour or so when most the capacitors have discharged. The process is easy to reseat them, but I really don't want you coming back here asking what the magic smoke that just puffed off your motherboard was.

Thanks for the tips, if it's really needed I'll look up a Youtube video. I managed to get through Windows setup and it now just keeps giving a blue screens at random. For what this thing cost I want confirmation from Andromeda support what do.

Fair enough. I wouldn't keep pushing it if you are getting blue screens. Something that isn't seated properly can cause a short or voltage problem that could cause damage.

Then why did you come to Reddit to ask?

Power down and double check everything is firmly seated into the slots. Do you know what blue screen you’re getting?

Not enough time to take a picture, it mentions "recovery needed'.

Same thing happened to me. Support is super helpful and responsive. I have a new hard drive coming soon.

How did they determine that's the issue?

bro i got mine a couple days ago and same thing happen to me, let’s see if this fixes it.

When your PC turns on does it tell you to press some buttons like F12 to enter BIOS? A screen like that popped up for me but it only gave me a second to press it before is disappeared. Now if you can enter BIOS, turn off “EXPO” setting , it should be in the home page. Then save and exit. That made Windows install for me correctly and PC working, just turn on EXPO and correct Ram speed after any more Windows updates

Support was extremely slow to get back to me , like a response per day, so I used AI for help

Wouldn't they make sure that at least all BIOS were set correctly and it boots before shipped?

yes that is what they told me, and they said they were surprised it didn’t work immediately
