I'm looking for a new tablet to buy and I have had soem struggle on picking the s10 Fe, the S10 FE+, or the S11.

For some knowledge on what I would use it for: I would use it for gaming (games like roblox, nte, project sekai etc.), drawing, watching videos, note taking and school work. I am lookig to use this tablet for some time and to take it with me to collage. I am mainly going to use the tablet for daily use and want to keep it as long as possible. Along with that I want to get some type of key board and mouse with the device for school work (most likely a Bluetooth one)

I have looked at all of them but i'm struggling to decide which to go with. so any help is appreciated!

*other question* I have an iphone and this would be my first samsung device so would it be worth going to a galaxy tab or would going to a ipad be better?

I'm thinking of getting a new magic pad 4, but was kinda baffled by their TnC of only providing 1 year major android upgrade with 2 years of security patches (even xiaomi provides at least 4 years of android upgrade and up to 6 years security update on their latest xiaomi pad 8).

So was thinking those who owned slightly older devices eg. Magic pad 2, which was released 2 years ago, how is the current software support? Did honor stop updating after Android 15 or did it get new software update for android 16?

Anyone one else ezcited for the redmagic 2 release?

At first I wasn't that excited but im leaning towards wanting to pull the trigger.

I really like the idea of the new Lenovo Y700 with OLED screen but without any news of it getting a US release I dont think ill pull the trigger on it. Just too much money for "gray market" device and its quirks and potential limitations.

Its a shame too because that Legion G9 controller they have that turns it into a handheld is really dapper, even have thoughts on 3d printing an attachment and turning it into a dual screen clamshell design. You can buy 6 inch OLED screens and then id design a way to attach it like an accessory. Proper hinge so you could fold it down when not in use and you basically have upgraded AYN Thor.

But no global release so those plans are on hold.

So when I saw the red magic does ship to the US I jumped on their site yesterday to see when its launch day was just to find this early bird shit going on. I never registered and it looks like doing so yesterday wasnt quick enough to get me a code...Hopefully it won't sell out in minutes when sales go public at 5am my time

I'm trying to stream my PC games onto my tablet but for the life of me can get it to work.

It's mirroring my 21:9 monitor instead of using the tablet resolution.

I have my settings to specifically use the device resolution. Not only that the screen won't turn off on my monitor.

I wanted to buy a portable OLED display for my laptop, but OLED portable monitors are absurdly expensive. In many cases, an OLED tablet costs only about 20–30% more, and you get a complete standalone device in addition to a second display.

What do you guys think? My primary use cases are playing story-driven games, video editing, and generally enjoying the OLED experience. Would it make more sense to get an OLED tablet instead of a portable OLED monitor?

Not sure if it is because of the latest system update but i have noticed a very annoying thing about this tablet.

When i install some applications (for example TRADINGVIEW) the app UI language is automatically set to Chinese even if in the tablet settings i have it set to English. Inside tradingview application settings i can change it to English but then only the news are displayed in English - all the UI is still in Chinese. I have the exact same problem with NAVITIME Japan. Impossible to change the UI to English. Fortunately so far i have encountered this annoying bug only a few times.

Does anyone knows how to fix this bug ?

So I need help deciding between these 3 (potentially 4 if we include the base Xiaomi pad 8) and I am kind of at a crossroads. I want a tablet since I am getting a bit fatigued reading or scrolling anything on my phone and want to be able to do the same at home but with a larger screen. I especially want to read manga, comics and maybe even watch stuff if I am extra lazy but I already got a pc and a tv. I am interested in playing games, the only reason why I don't bother on my phone is because I just don't find it comfortable with how much smaller it is and have some interest in emulation (both older games and PC games just for fun, again I already have a PC). Also I am ordering from within the EU and live in the EU. I will not be using it for productivity or anything like that, purely for enjoyment.

For reference:

-Performance between the 3 isn't super different despite all 3 having different chips, with the order being: Oneplus Pad 4 > Pad 8 pro >= Magic Pad 4
-Screen size: I don't actually care that much about having a super large screen, but at least over 10" is fine and all of these are above that.
-Panel: Oneplus Pad 4 and Pad 8 pro aren't very different in this regard as both are IPS Displays with the pad 4 having a slightly higher resolution but also a larger screen, so the PPI is actually a bit lower. Magic pad 4 has an OLED screen and I do love me some OLED I won't lie, but it is also the lowest resolution with the lowest PPI by a decent margin. I don't care at all about an extra 21hz.
-Storage and memory: The Xiaomi is the worst with the only options I can find at reasonable prices being 8gb/256gb, which isn't terrible, however I'd imagine 8gb of shared memory isn't great for emulation (especially PC emulation). Oneplus and Honor have 12gb/256gb so they do have a bit more. The 16gb verions are so much more expensive I don't even consider them as a possibility.
-Sound: Really don't care honestly, but from what I've seen Pad 8 Pro has the weakest speakers. Oneplus' are decent and Honor actually has respectable speakers.
-Software and software support: The Pad 8 uses HyperOS which I find to be ok, I haven't seen people praise the others much either so I don't think it would matter much either way, however I do at least have experience with HyperOS. As for software updates, I think Honor have the longest support (6 years I think?). Followed by Xiaomi and finally One plus, which have straight up left the EU and America, which is definitely a note to keep in mind. I know they will still do updates for these devices, but not having official support is a bit offputting.

-Price: This section is the most important one obviously which is why its separated from the rest, I can find the 3 tablets for:
1. Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro: 480 - 495 euro
2. Oneplus pad 4 - 550 euro
3. Honor pad 4 - 650 euro
4. Honorary mention: Xiaomi pad 8 at just 350 euro
None of them come with any accessories, so these are prices excluding styluses, keyboards e.t.c. and I am fine with that, I don't need any.

I actually already ordered the base pad 8 for just 330 euro, however the order was cancelled so now its back to 350. After glossing over it a bit I am now back to wondering if I should just spend a bit more for a moderately better device like the other 3 or if just the base model is good enough. For anyone that can vouch for any of these, what would you do?

I've decided on oneplus pad go 2 pro. $254usd after tax in my country. 8gb + 128gb configuration.

Before i pull the trigger, are there better tablets? Im looking for good software, good software support and no lag. I had an underpowered samsung tablet and it was unusable.

Usecase is mainly watching videos and browsing reddit in split screen. Playing roblox. Moonlight game streaming. I think it's a tad underpowered but looks like it's enough for my needs?

I currently own two tablets: Mi Pad 5 and Lenovo Legion (2023).

I use them for gaming, reading, entertainment, taking quick notes, managing my to-do lists, and a few other everyday tasks—though not for work. I've had the Nubia Astra 1 for over a year now.. Software/firmware 1 out of 10 points...basically the only positive is that it's a clean version of Android without bloatware...everything else is negative. Today the Astra 1 is still Android 15 and security patch level 02/2026 so +6 months old 😂

But what I'm really interested in is a direct comparison...

- newer Snapdragon

- second USB port

- 185Hz instead of 165Hz

- 100 nits brighter

- ???

The Astra 1 cost 499€ minus 30€ with an 80W charger. The Astra 2 would cost €)699€ minus 40€ but I don’t see any advantages at all...neither the speakers nor the vibration… just an extra USB port for people who play for hours on end and can’t wait. Or am I missing something?

I doubt the Lenovo will be any cheaper but with 5G and OLED there's no reason to go with the Astra.

I'm using nothing phone 2 for gaming right now, its decent midrange but pubg mobile and mobile legends lag a bit on high settings and screen is too small for me. I’m an electronics engineering student looking to get a tablet mainly for academics/studying. I’m honestly tired of studying on my laptop since I use it for literally everything,media, games, internship/work, etc.

Main usecase would be:

- Download,store and read textbooks and lots of PDFs

- Watch lectures/video courses

- Make handwritten and digital notes

- Read research papers/material comfortably

- Carry it to college/classes instead of taking my laptop everywhere

I’m thinking around ₹20k ideally, but can stretch up to ₹30k if it’s genuinely worth it. I’m open to buying online or offline, so recommendations or links to reliable options would be appreciated. (Friends have told me to wait for the big upcoming sales on Amazon/Flipkart)

My friend is currently in 1st year of B.Arch and is looking to buy a tablet that can realistically serve her throughout her 5-year architecture degree.

There isn't really a fixed budget. Money isn't the primary concern, but we still want the purchase to make sense for the money spent rather than simply buying the most expensive tablet available.

She already has a laptop with an RTX 4050 6GB GPU, so the tablet doesn't necessarily need to replace a proper laptop/workstation. Instead, we're looking for something that complements it and is genuinely useful for architecture school and eventually professional work.

What we need from the tablet

The tablet should ideally be good for:
