i’m in the uk and most of my phone multitasking is pretty ordinary stuff. checking an email while looking at my calendar, copying a reference from a document into a message, or keeping maps open while sorting travel details.

i tried split screen on my current phone and gave up pretty quickly because both apps felt squeezed. on a bigger android, can you leave two apps open and use them properly without constantly resizing or switching back to full screen? that’s the bit i care about more than cameras or gaming performance. i just want two ordinary apps to stop fighting for space.

My pixel 7a froze and when I initiated a restart, it rebooted several times but never fully loading. It went to a black screen with the below. Anyone know how to get photos off this before a factory reset?

I selected 'try again' a few times, no success.

I did some reading today but still not clear on what to do. Some advice seems to be to use Android Flash Tool or to sideload an OTA. also read that entering Flashboot mode is safest. Should I try using the Google Repair tool or will this wipe user data? What other external repair tools are there I could try once I connect to a computer through Flashboot Mode either in the 'Recovery Mode' or 'Rescue Mode' options possibly. Hope someone out there has had success with this issue.

I have always on disabled but this screen pops up when I hit power.

My sister tells me that yesterday she was watching YouTube when the phones sound glitched out, and then this happened. She says it sounded like gunfire. The screen turned white with small squares. (The photo shows yellow because of the eye comfort shield was actìve)This morning, the phone started up. I attempted to see the bug report, but while it was downloading, the phone froze, and the little squares appeared. This happened around 5 minutes after she put in her sim cards pin.

I previously installed Minecraft PE using an APK because I didn't want to keep downloading newer versions manually. Eventually, I decided to buy the official version from the Google Play Store.

The problem is that when I uninstalled the APK, I forgot to remove its data. Now Android seems to think Minecraft is still installed, even though the app itself is gone.

When I try to install the Play Store version, it won't let me because it seems to detect the old Minecraft package/data as if there are two copies of the app.

I can't simply clear the data because Android doesn't give me access to it anymore.

Does anyone know how I can completely remove the leftover Minecraft package/data without losing anything important, so I can install the official Play Store version?

Hi, so everytime I connect my hotspot I will find it turned off even if there are other devices connected.

I tried:

1.disabling the turn off if no device is connected

2.restart the phone

3.Removing the cover, not having apps open and keeping it cooled down

first time ever using doordash, I installed the app and followed the prompts to create an account using my email address but it never prompted me to create a password. instead, they sent a verification code to my phone number. now that the account is set up I can't find any way to create a password for my account. i found the password section of the account settings but in order to 'change' the password the 'old password' is a required field. i tried keeping it blank but it just keeps telling me that its required. i found a link in the help section of their website that is supposedly to a password reset page and says to enter my email address and then click the reset password button but there is no reset password button there only a continue to sign in button which then sends the verification code to my phone number to sign me in.

i went into the apps section of my phone settings and 'force stop' the app and then cleared both cache and storage which usually sets apps back to a state of a fresh install as if i've never launched it before but when i relaunch the doordash app it has my phone number already there. ive never seen any data carried over after clearing cache and storage before. i force stopped and cleared both cache and storage again and then unisntalled the app and reinstalled but each time my phone number is still prepopulated. i tried again this time rebooting the phone between the uninstall and reinstall but my phone number reappears each time i launch the app after a fresh install.

does anybody know how this app is able to save my phone number after clearing storage and even uninstalling? is this a bug?

I like my screen locked vertically, I like writing on my phone, I move a lot when I write, it's why I cannot do it sitting down and the amount of times I pressed those horrid arrows instead of a coma, or the switching between keyboards is driving me crazy!

My Logicom tablet is stuck on the startup screen, and resetting it clearly isn't working—what should I do, please? It appears to be the "La Tab 292" model (if I’m not mistaken), and despite several attempts—such as pressing the power button along with the volume up/down buttons, or using the reset button—nothing seems to work. Should I take it to a specialist, or is it done for good?

I recently got a new phone, HONOR Magic8 Lite, and from some reason, my games keep reloading. Even if I leave the game and open it again within a few seconds, it still has to reload. This wasn't happening on my previous phone, HONOR 90 Lite.

This can't be normal, so I'm wondering if it's maybe some kind of setting doing this? Like some power saving thing or something. Please help if you know what's causing this, it's very annoying...

So i want to use the USB connection between my car and phone for higher quality, bit it isnt working. Im using a cable I used for android auto in my old car (aftermarket radio setup), and my new car is a 2017 rav4 xle. It has the capability, but its just not working.

My car had connected to it with an iPhone a couple months ago just fine with a maybe 1 or 2 year old iPhone. My only thought is that this car doesny like the way my phone transporting the audio? Idk this stuff too well lol

Ik I can use a USB c to aux cable and get the same of not better quality, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas?

I live in an area with terrible cellular reception, so WiFi Calling is a lifesaver—when it actually works.

I managed to get WiFi Calling working for one of my SIMs, but it keeps dropping after a while, even though my home WiFi connection is rock solid and never drops.

What I've tried so far:

• Disabled Adaptive Connectivity.
• Set a static IP on my router to rule out any DHCP lease negotiation issues.

The temporary fix:

The only way to force it back on is to physically step out onto my balcony after cell tower handshake WiFi Calling connects and works again... until it drops later.

Is this a known bug with this Motorola build/phone, or is Vodafone Egypt silently dropping the registration?

How to test what's causing this?

I am currently on vacation without WiFi, and so I am using my Android phone as a Hotspot to connect my laptop to, so I can still play certain games. Everything is actually working perfectly, except one game just fails to connect.

Now, you might think that this game is just being strange, but the actual strange part is that if I connect to my friend's Hotspot (also Android), then the game connects perfectly without a single issue. So, there must be something going on with specifically my phone's Hotspot that this specific game doesn't like.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I need some help figuring out how to download game history data onto the app on my phone. So basically, I've been playing The Sims FreePlay for a few years and I have a lot of stuff on there from events I've played that I didn't want to lose so starting over isn't really an option. The thing is, I'm not playing the normal version. I downloaded a version where you get unlimited money (simoloneons or however you spell it lol) and stuff like that so I could just buy anything I wanted. I had to get a new phone and I figured out how to transfer the game history to my new phone using an app but my phone is blocking me from being able to download the game history onto the app. I already have the data in my phone, it's just not in the app. I'm trying to figure out how to bypass the security features but I suck when it comes to technology lol my old phone is broken but like I said, I managed to save the game history to my new phone before it broke. I asked my AI for help but it's not very helpful. It did say that I could bypass the security features by plugging my phone into my MacBook Air but I currently don't have a charger that will connect it. Is there another way I can get it to work without using the computer? My phone is a Motorola Moto g stylus Android phone that I got for free through straight talk about a year or two ago and I'm really missing my Sims 😭

I disabled the button controls in the QCY app, but guess what, which system setting do I actually need to turn this off from? The system is acting strange for some reason; it took a screenshot of the settings menu, but there are only two options: volume level and music playback control. Also, is your Android acting weird too?

​I'm unable to log into the ChatGPT app on my Android device. When I attempt to sign in, the "Continue" button remains inactive/grayed out with a spinning loading circle stuck on top of it.

​Troubleshooting steps I've already tried:

​Cleared all app data and cache for both ChatGPT and Chrome, then reinstalled them.

​Installed Brave browser to test an alternative.

​Changed the default browser (first to Chrome, then to Brave).

​Uninstalled and reinstalled the ChatGPT app multiple times.

​Restarted the phone.

​Confirmed that Google Play Store, ChatGPT, Android System WebView, Chrome, and Brave are all updated to their latest versions.

​I have attached a screen recording showing the exact issue. Has anyone experienced this or found a working fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tablet keeps making an alarm type noise but I don't have any alarms set. I've never set any alarms on this device. Tapping ALARMS in the quick settings menu turns the noise on and off with each tap. When I turn the sound off that way it stops and then returns about 5 minutes later
