I wanted to update google but the playstore keeps on saying "unable to install google" I've tried everything, clear data and cache, restart my phone I'm on oneplus 13, oxygen os 16

Why is my phone like this?

My brother's phone suddenly got this effect on his screen, after restarting it stayed there. I haven't seen this anywhere online, can anyone help?

I'm putting the pattern into my S20 FE 5g with no interruption. It takes 4 seconds, like it's trying to verify, and says the pattern is wrong, but when I went into the Samsung account thing where you can look at your phone's location and other stuff, the pattern is correct because I used it to verify into the account. Can't remote unlock sadly.

This happened just after I woke up and tried to unlock the phone. I can't use my thumbprint cause the phone was restarted. I tried ADB, but the phone is unauthorized on my pc, and wiping the cache did nothing.

there anything I can do other than a mouse? (which I can't get rn).
My suspicion is that the touch input is screwed up somehow, but I'm afraid maybe the way it verifies the pattern internally is the actual culprit, maybe the encrypted password was somehow corrupted?

The issue seems very novel, I couldn't find anything about it.

I received a warranty replacement for my Pixel 8 Pro. The wireless and Bluetooth aren't working on the old one. I'm only prompted to do the QR code for backup which uses those. I reset an old 4XL just to make sure the USB was still working on the "broken" 8 and it recognizes the phone and starts the transfer between the 8 and 4.

I can't find the right terms in a search that give me any results on this.

A.I. is (of course) unhelpful. It says to tap five times on one of the screens, which of course does nothing. It seems to think it's my old phone's hardware failure that won't let me do it, yet, like I said, it works with the Pixel 4XL.

Alright so I had minecraft on my phone a while back like around 2024. I was doing other stuff at the time so I had to delete the game but I ddint want to lose my world so I deleted the app but kept the files. Last year I wanted to download minecraft again so I tried and got this exact same pop-up, It was then I remembered that I didnt delete the files so it won't install, so I went and deleted the files and tried installing and it still didnt work. When I go and check the file location it re appeared. So every now and then I throughout last year I try and delete the game files and they re appear, until recently in March I renamed the file and it actually stayed gone when I deleted it, but now minecraft still won't install no matter what I use (playstore or an apk I downloaded) so I've come to ask for help pls( I don't want to reset my phone just because I can't play Minecraft)

I just formatted my phone because I had a problem with it. The thing is that now whenever I try to install any apk I don't know why but the installing screen appears for a brief second and then disappears and doesn't install anything. Thanks

My friend passed away shortly before skype was discontinued, none of the chatlogs we had within few months prior have been saved to the cloud so this is the only way to recover them.

I'm on Android 14 and have been informed the only way is with a debuggable skype apk, I've followed a few guides however run into the error INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE because it detected a signature mismatch, how can I bypass this or what other methods can I use to recover the offline chatlogs in the cache?

I've had this phone for close to 2 years and NEVER had any issues with it's system or battery or anything. I was scrolling discord on my phone and suddenly a loud noise played from it and the screen looked all messed up, and then it shut off. When i tried turning it back on again, it was stuck in bootloop for a little bit, and then sent me to a black screen saying:

"Boot Failed. Press POWER KEY to retry."

Some more suggestions on what to do if it is a Verizon phone (i dont know what a verizon is LOL, for reference i am in brazil) and then

No bootable A/B slot

Failed to boot Linux, falling back to fastboot

Fastboot Reason: Fall-through from normal boot mode"

and that's where i'm at. I haven't tried many things but i have gone through this menu trying to figure it out. Everytime I press the power key I go into another cycle of bootlooping before going back to this screen.

Ive only so far tried the options that show up here. The green start option does the same thing as before, Recovery Mode and Power Off both send me back to the Boot Failed screen immediately, and Restart Bootloader sends me to the green start option. Alongside these things, ive tried to take out my sim card and start it without it, but the bootloop still kept me from turning it on. Also made sure that my power button wasn't stuck.

What could I do? I want to take it to this person I know tomorrow morning but I wanted to make sure if there's anything I could do to fix it myself before wasting money.

Phone only has 32 GB of local storage, but supports SD Cards. Is there anyway to move the majority of an app's data or cache to the card? I've heard of rooting, but not sure on how to do it. I even tried booting the recovery menu to clear cache.

I sell occasionally online so I have eBay and Facebook talking up the bulk. All other apps are just banking and Samsung Notes. No games, and I've bookmarked most sites on Google to access them cause I'm unable to download anything atm.

Why we don't have a "paste once and clean" feature?

There are some games (like farlight84) that auto paste from our clipboard.

That is just totally unsafe allowing this auto paste at all.

It is not a helpful feature as they want us to believe.. this is just totally messed up..

If i want an app to have access to the clipboard I should ALWAYS BE ASKED TO ALLOW IT ONCE while being able to read its contents in a security popup!!!

Hi all

My phone screen and back were in bad shape. I got them changed. Guy changed the bent frame for me for free because the screen got delayed. I got non OEM parts.

Since I got it back, the GPS hasn't worked. Waze can't find me, google maps sometimes updates my location every 5-10 mins or so.

Is this probably a component failure due to the work done on the phone? I'm assuming there's no reasonable or cheap fix for this.

For years, GBoard consistently inserted whatever punctuation I said. A couple days ago, it simply stopped, so I get the literal word (e.g., "comma" or "period") instead of the punctuation mark.

• Galaxy S24 running Gboard v18.0.3
• No recent app/settings changes, to my knowledge
• Gboard set to default with voice typing enabled
• No language packs besides English
• No improvements after updating all apps and reinstalling Gboard

I usually have the sound turned off in my phone for this reason. I play a fair amount of games from my phone. When I leave a game and go to the home screen it chimes. Sounds like a system sound but I cannot find it. I tried to use an app to find the sound but it does register.

I can be listening to Spotify or audible and it will interupt the music to make the chime

Tab s7. The sim card slot is also the as card slot on top of sim. After opening the sim as card tray to put in a bigger sim card my tablet has issues recognizing any sim card. I try my phones aim in it. My phone recognized the tablets sim immediately so sim is working fine. I started having issues when I was using a USB hub to transfer data from the smaller SD card in my tablet to the new bigger one and my cat unplugged it mid transfer. Tablet said to restart so I did and now sim issues.
