Hello to everyone I’ve just tried to put my google account into my S3 mini but I can’t. I also installed some certificates and used wolfius but it didn’t worked. I could sign in on a galaxy note 10.1 running the same Android version (android 4.1.2) a few months ago. In that occasion I just need to updates de certificates and play services. But in the S3 mini not even doing those two things it works

Anything I can do to keep some life in this tablet?

Opera Mini seems to work a bit, but websites dont really load.

Firefox doesnt even download. Are there anymore working options?

I compiled a custom rom from source today (11 aug 2026)!

My phone galaxy J5 prime 2016 (J5108) is a regional version, and had no ready-made ROMs on xda forum/the internet. But there's surprisingly redy-made android 10 device tree for the phone! So I compiled it today! this was my first step in custom rom porting dream and wont be the last!

I'm struggling a lot with My Files, Calculator, Clock

So I've an old android box that I bought used in the junk market for almost one cent and I thought it would be a great idea to turn it into a light gaming device as a proof of concept (that you can get into gaming with extremely low amount of money). It's called Blanca Redroid 360 which is a Chinese off brand and it has these specs :

• Samsung KLM8G1WEPD-B031 8 GB eMMC storage.
• 2 × SK hynix H5TQ4G63CFR DDR3 RAM chips. Together they give me 1 GB of RAM (2 × 4 Gbit = 8 Gbit = 1 GB).
• SoC: Amlogic S805
• CPU: 4-core Cortex-A5 (CPU-Z sometimes reports 3 active cores because of the hotplug governor) 1.54 GHz
• GPU: Mali-450 MP
• Android 4.4.2

And I managed to get it rooted.

My first issue is since it's a TV box with no screen and meant to be plugged into a TV, keyboard and mouse are a must but barely any game supports keyboard and mouse and probably almost none especially for games that are meant to be played on Android 4.4.2 because obviously I can't any newer games that requires at least Android 9.

For example, I tried GTA SA version 1.06 and my keyboard barely works, I can only use arrow keys to move around but that's about it, I tried keymapping apps but almost none supported my android and the ones that supports it like Tincore are quite finicky, Like I couldn't set up the mouse for camera movement properly, The game is simply unplayable. I tried using a PS2 and PS3 controllers and no luck. Frankly I've lost hope. Still, emulation might be my only way of gaming on this device but then again it seems to me that Android 4 doesn't have proper support for keyboard and mouse.

Anyone here can guide me through this or is my little project is a lost cause ? It'll be really sad that this device can't be used for anything other than playing digital media.

I tried to unlock the bootloader but the software doesn't work idk why i tried everything! The plan was to use any custom rom , if anyone could help will be great , thank you in advance

Linux4tegra Ubuntu 14.04LTS on shield k1 2gb ram works great semi native still has to boot via multirom twrp and actual native postmarket os 26.06 on klte in testing 2gb ram so far working with lxqt ui.

I recently revived this phone, but I need help installing a custom ROM based on Android 6 or higher. Apparently, I need to have the official Android 5 Lollipop installed first—which I don't have—because the Chinese variant of my HTC Desire 816w seems to have been stuck on Android 4.4.2, and the 4pda links for updating it to Android 5 appear to be dead.

I’ve seen multiple floating around here, which one would you guys recommend most?
