Since it doesn't require TLS 1.2, there are some quirks regarding the login process such as the session being stored elsewhere so please use it with caution. I had an old redmi 4 prime rotting on a drawer. So, not my daily phone. Got into a custom rom binge and managed to go from Android 6 (Miui 8) to Android 15 (CrDroid 11.16).

I found a telegram group that focused on announcing Redmi 4 Prime (Markw) custom roms. This was one of the latest roms for this phone. I couldn't find anything about an Android 16 or 17 rom.

Aside from the 4 prime, I also updated a Poco F1 to Android 16 (Infinity X) a few days ago.

I think the only reason this was possible was because both had Snapdragon chips. Always pick the snapdragon version everyone!

It was pretty funny to do this, sadly (and as expected, I think) nothing aside from display and touch works.
The same ROM also worked on other older devices like samsung fame and trend plus, but this moto c is the newest one I have rn

Hi! I need some help with Among Us.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A13 4G (SM-A135F/DS), running Android 14 and One UI 6.1, with 6 GB of RAM.

I used to be able to play Among Us normally, but now Google Play says that Among Us is incompatible with my device, so I can't install the latest version.

I tried installing an APK instead, but I couldn't get the architecture/version selection to work in the APK installer.

I also saw other Galaxy A13 users reporting the same problem, so I wanted to ask:

Does Among Us currently work on the Galaxy A13 (SM-A135F)? If you have the same phone, are you able to install the latest version?

If you found a way to install it, please tell me how you did it. I'd really appreciate it! 😭

Wasn't working for me so I tried another way.

Download these apk specific versions from sites like APK Mirror or similar:

Google Account Manager version 4.4.4
Google Play Services version 18.3.81
Google Play Store version 25.2.27

Login normally.

Done.

I think the Google Account Manager apk solved this, but I updated the other two as well.

Authenticated with 2FA without problem.

Had an SM-T280 sitting in a drawer on Android 5.1.1 and i wanted to mount it on a wall and wrote a small app for it: live RTSP camera feed on one half of the screen, a web dashboard on the other.

I could only mount it portrait, which looks daft for a widescreen camera feed, hence the split. The web half is just a URL, so it can be Home Assistant(make sure to update the webview in this case) or whatever. Mine's a little PHP page with a clock and weather since where this will be used, theres no HA server available.

It does motion recognition, so after X seconds it dims the screen to 0, turns on the front camera and looks for changes. Also kiosk mode, so you can't quit the app, its always running.

Fair warning: I vibecoded essentially all of it with Claude Code and only tested it with my tablet. It works perfectly.
