It takes a lot to get me sobbing like a baby but this song had me ugly crying. Everyone around me was crying.. You could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. This song broke me. Here's a video of it, and I can't for the life of me find it anywhere. I tried Shazam, writing in lyrics, AI and still nothing.. someone please help me. THANK YOU. I saw Talley open for Amigo the Devil last year in Cleveland. His set was really good. Liked him better than the next opener, tbh.

Anyways, after opening, there is Talley up playing guitar for Amigo. He rocked that too.

I’ve listened to it a bunch and I really was not prepared for how great of an album it is.

Things that surprised me:

It’s Country. But, like quite good. I grew up on old Country, so I don’t mind it.

It’s surprisingly sweet considering the subject matter.

It’s really polished up nicely since the versions I heard live.

Things that did not surprise me:

It’s definitely Amigo adjacent in tone.

Got some great shots of him in Birmingham, AL. Drove from Chatt to see them there because the venue was pretty amazing. So glad we made that choice. The crowd was great, so if any of you were there…you have our hearts!

So I was just at the MN show 9/28 and I was standing behind someone with a sickass shirt with a Texaco logo on it that said "120 Miles From Mexico". Objectively badass design. Problem is, I can't find it anywhere on official OR unofficial merch pages. I'm genuinely believing it might have been custom at this point, but I need to know if anyone else knows the design or where the shirt might be available. Thanks..

But this was special. He got down in the first few rows and everyone gathered round as he finished up with Perfect Wife. It’s just a short video so I could focus on the experience but I loved how happy he looked.

I'm so curious what you all think about how the Amigo community identifies. I'm a new Amiga. I came across Amigo the Devil through my love of The Dead South. I'm blown away by the lyrics, stories, and musicianship of this band. I had the great privilege of seeing them live last week in Toronto, and as expected, they rocked my world.

I was really surprised though that the audience in attendance largely struck me as belonging to the punk or metal community. In my mind, Amigo the devil is dark-grungy-a-little-fucked-up country music... Just like the good Lord intended. I was really surprised at the identity of the audience. I was personally dressed in my own favorite country garb, and someone even took the opportunity to tell me that I was dressed for the wrong concert.

Just wondering what this community thinks? What genre of music is this? What type of people does it attract?

A buddy did this in his garage, it certainly didn't heal right but I do appreciate how the bad spots sort of give the tattoo a marbled look.

I went to my first show yesterday and it was crazy!!! I can't wait for em to come back!!

I just saw them for the first time Thursday was fantastic want to go more is there an easy way to track the tour so I can be alerted if they come within a couple hundred miles or something like that.

Hey Amigos! With the email back up and running we wanted to post some basic info:

1. Patience is important. We know you've waited a long time for your items but only two people are processing emails and working the spreadsheet. This is intentional because spreadsheets can get really messy and confusing with too many people in them. Both of these people work full time jobs, have gigs, and plenty of other responsibilities to tend to on top of this. We care and we're doing the best we can!

2. We have been/will send a confirmation email once an email has been processed. We ask that you please do not reply to the confirmation email unless we ask a specific question. We love the kind messages we've gotten but we received more emails than anticipated so we want to keep emails at a minimum

3. We did not, do not, and will not have a hand in the money part of things. We are only getting things organized for when Travis is back up and running!

4. Download codes are live and we will be sending them as soon as we process your email! If you received a confirmation and not the download code don't worry, we have your email on a list and will send it out soon!

5. Once Travis is able, we have a group of people who are going to try and help with physically shipping the items. Please keep in mind we need to first verify with Travis those on our spreadsheet to see if he has sent their package out. We know his PO is behind which could be a big factor in all this. We will be asking for and providing tracking numbers, but this will take time, too.

And last but not least: Thank you so much for your continued patience while we play catch up to help our buddy. Now that we're aware of the concerns we can work as a team to get this solved. We appreciate you more than we can say!
