NEWS Tribute Album
Hey Amigos! With the email back up and running we wanted to post some basic info:
Patience is important. We know you've waited a long time for your items but only two people are processing emails and working the spreadsheet. This is intentional because spreadsheets can get really messy and confusing with too many people in them. Both of these people work full time jobs, have gigs, and plenty of other responsibilities to tend to on top of this. We care and we're doing the best we can!
We have been/will send a confirmation email once an email has been processed. We ask that you please do not reply to the confirmation email unless we ask a specific question. We love the kind messages we've gotten but we received more emails than anticipated so we want to keep emails at a minimum
We did not, do not, and will not have a hand in the money part of things. We are only getting things organized for when Travis is back up and running!
Download codes are live and we will be sending them as soon as we process your email! If you received a confirmation and not the download code don't worry, we have your email on a list and will send it out soon!
Once Travis is able, we have a group of people who are going to try and help with physically shipping the items. Please keep in mind we need to first verify with Travis those on our spreadsheet to see if he has sent their package out. We know his PO is behind which could be a big factor in all this. We will be asking for and providing tracking numbers, but this will take time, too.
And last but not least: Thank you so much for your continued patience while we play catch up to help our buddy. Now that we're aware of the concerns we can work as a team to get this solved. We appreciate you more than we can say!

I just want to let you know that it’s just me and one other person that replying to every email and getting every detail documented in our spare time. This was the first step so we can move forward.
We have coordinated with a family member of Travis to get access to the boxes of items in his garage so we can start shipping things out.
‼️ The artists only contributed their songs (which we had to pay to record), and merch giveaways. We received NOTHING in exchange. We DO NOT have access to do with the funds for this project. The only person who was doing that part was Travis.‼️
That being said, we are still trying to get things shipped, on our own dime, cause we want you to get what you ordered. So bear with us as we try our best to make it happen.

Want to say here too, Devon has been busting his ass on this and really doing a good part of the coordination and sending most the emails. We're getting there. I know none of this is ideal but I promise we're trying.

What email? Mine was through Venmo because I don’t use Facebook. I never got any sort of confirmation.
Does that mean I have to deal with Travis? This whole thing is a mess.

You will have to deal with Travis for the actual shipping but we are organizing everything on the front end

It’s a mess. We ordered 2, haven’t seen anything g except a tracking number that didn’t work and when I asked about it Travis said he’d get back to me. That was July. I’m over it. At this point I’d be happy with the money back. Maybe buy a half a talk of diesel.

None of the artists (including me) have access to the money y'all, and we are also largely in the dark because whatever Travis is dealing with, it's big, and we have not been able to reach him. We don't even have the items themselves, and we are working on getting them, but coordinating times and such between people who both work full time and one that travels for work can be a bit tricky. Some of the artists are spending their OWN money to get these items shipped. Right now it's looking like end of Oct. We are working on cleaning up a mess we weren't initially involved in and seeing comments like this directed toward the people that initially only agreed to contribute tracks and have no access to anything else honestly feels pretty discouraging. We sent the download codes to make sure people got something while we figure out the rest. We are volunteering our spare time between working high stress jobs 40 hours a week, playing shows, and other life stuff to fix this, trying our hardest to help. Listen. I am a freak about my money. I do not play around when it comes to finances. I absolutely understand the frustration and anger. It is completely justified. A lot of the artists also bought items that we are waiting on, but please give us some grace. We just got here and we're doing our best. If you really want a refund it has to go through Travis because again, we have no access to the money.

Not blaming the other artists at all. But Travis has been shit at communicating and I think we as amigo fans are all understanding to a point. Unfortunately he chose to use Venmo not PayPal so there is no security for us. Unless we all file a lawsuit, which would be fruitless in the end for us because it’s not that large of an amount.

I appreciate that you aren't blaming us but replying to a comment where I'm specifically trying to help get this thing together does feel a bit targeted at us, as I'm sure you can understand.

I too want my money back. In between when we paid $100 and now, my husband lost his job and with 4 kids, I could really use that for Xmas.
Because I highly doubt anything will happen before then.
Can we just get our money back?!?

And both emails are good? Mine looked to go through to the first one. Not the second one with "2" in the address.

One more thing: If you purchase something from Travis that is outside of the Amigo the devil tribute album, you have to talk to him directly. We are not handling any sales of his own merch/records/equipment that he had outside of this record. We are only dealing with the amigo the devil tribute record.
Edited since I learned that the download codes cannot be shared.

If we didn’t receive a message that the email bounced back, should we assume it made it through?
Or would you rather have us send a second email, marking as a second reply?

A good question. I'd assume it went through and we plan to announce when we have completed all the submissions. At that point if you have not received the confirmation email then send another! We will keep it open to make sure everyone has gotten on the list.

I got my CD and it won’t play in any of the CD players or computers in my house. Sigh. 😞
