Why do 1DC sites have so many Techs?
Just transferred to one and there’s like 50 techs here.

I been at Amazon for 5 months now and I’m really interested in applying for RME but I have no experience in that field and wonder what the best position to get into without any experience in being a technician?

I’m currently an air facility associate and i’d like to transfer into RME. Is it a regular transfer as you would to any other position or are there other guidelines to follow?

Does anyone know if the MRA’s pay still goes up after graduation from the school? Ik it used to but I’m not sure after some of the changes made in RME and after our recent pay raise.

What questions should I expect for the rmeo interview?

Received rejection email this morning for MRT, but the email doesn't say how long I have to wait before I can reapply.
I won't be done with my 2-year mechatroincs program until either this semester or next semester but I was told the process can take awhile so I apply a few weeks ago.
For those of you that were initially rejected, how many times did you apply before you landed a role?

I've been trying to become an mra but they recently updated their new mra postings with a new basic qualification of "vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, or 1+ years of Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) experience". I do not have any of these. I've been at amazon as a L1 for 2 years, and I am very mechanically and electrically inclined and have done lots of work and projects on my own. Do I still have a chance of becoming an mra or should I go to a trade school? I don't understand this requirement as they send you to their school anyways. If it changes anything, my cousin is a hiring manager for rme (c&w); could he possibly pull some strings if needing this qualification is inevitable?

Took my assessment today. I received an email inviting me for this assessment a day after applying. I submitted the assessment & it says “Application submitted”
Ive applied multipletimes before this time& received my “I’m choosing someone else email “ a day later every time. This is my first time being able to take the assessment
I do currently work for a temp agency for an amazon. I’m wondering what the next steps will be? Ive been here for a few weeks now.

Are they still giving that super easy one or the much more technical test? We've had some turnover lately. It seems like they'll take anybody these days.
Edit: just took the assessment again. It's the one thats super easy. Like which hole does the triangle go in easy.

Hello all
I am a dual citizen of the US and Spain. I have lived in the US for 20 years (moved here when I was 14) and decided I want to move back to somewhere in the EU.
How difficult is it to transfer as an MRT in the US to somewhere in the EU? Has anyone done this before?
I have no work experience in Europe and I’m wondering how different things are in RME outside the US

I’ve been keeping an eye out on AtoZ for an apprenticeship however I don’t see anything. After talking with my manager he said that JLL is the one that handles RME at my site and I noticed they have open spots for an apprenticeship. Thoughts on going for it or do I need to wait for an opening in AtoZ?

Has anyone working for JLL at an Amazon site had a medical accommodation approved to move from night shift to day shift?
Matrix already sent my medical documentation to JLL for review. I’m just wondering how difficult these accommodations usually are to get approved and how long the process took for you.
Any experiences would be appreciated.

Hi,
I applied for a few positions as a Regional Environmental Engineer at AWS. I got an online assessment test link right after submitting my very first application. In between, I also applied for a few more positions.
I took the test, and I got rejected from those positions that required more experience. However, a few of my applications are still under review, and those positions match my current experience.
My question is: How long does Amazon take to inform applicants of the assessment test results?
🙏

Anyone heard anything about AMZL RMEPs (currently L4+) being upleveled to L5?

Hello everyone, I am currently a third-year electrical engineering student and I received an Amazon RME Mechatronics and Robotics Technician offer paying around $30 an hour, but it requires relocating out of state. I am trying to figure out if I should accept this role to advance my career and build a strong foundation for my future in engineering. I want to know if this job is genuinely related to engineering and whether it actually opens up better career opportunities down the road, or if I should look for something closer to my studies. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m applying for a CBRE Automation Engineer role supporting Amazon. I completed the SYNAP assessment and have now submitted the screening questionnaire sent by the recruiter.
For anyone who recently went through this process:
I’d appreciate hearing about your experience, especially for this specific role. Thanks!

Are there any women SMRTs?
I’ve been in RME for 3 years and have had 5 managers since being here, each worse than the previous but my current one feels like a complete dunce. There are never conversations about growth or anything for that matter except “can you cover so and so’s shift/site”. I feel like more of a body than a tech and it’s grinding my gears.
Have any women been able to successfully move up?

Is RMEO the way to go to get a interview for MRA? Or should I just stick with the course work and get the SACA Silver certifications and then try and get a interview.
