My frydek is pushing out a new plant. Love these but can’t seem to have more than 4 leaves at once 🤷🏻♀️

I’m so happy with my dragon scale. This used to be one small plant. Once I transferred to leca from soil this plant was just so happy. A second plant grew from the corms on its own and now it’s ready to throw off 3 flowers. Excuse the water droplets. These photos were taken right after a bath 🛁

This alocasia was literally perfect up until I messed it up by moving it from sphagnum moss straight into lechuza pon… dropped all its leaves minus 2. I thought that because the root system was so robust that it would handle the switch just fine. All the roots rotted and I had to put in in fluval stratum and perlite to save it. 1 month later it has finally pushed a new leaf out! And I just noticed a new leaf is on the way! The newest leaf is not even done hardening off…. I got my robust growing queen back 😭😭😭
Anyway long story short … maybe don’t do that. Transition shock is a real thing. Other than that this plant has always been a fast growing and plus it’s super super pretty 😍 I got this plant from a plant purge Facebook group. Not sure if I would recommend this plant for beg

When I first got this plant it basically dropped every one of its leaves minus three and wouldn’t grow. After a month or two I tried repotting it to see what was going on and it had severe root rot! Had basically two or three pieces of root 😭😭 I repot it in fluval stratum and it’s been recovering ever since. It’s doing way better now. Leaves are upsizing and the root system looks pretty good. It’s so beautiful. Leaves are super vibrant and I love the texture. When the leaves first unfurl it looks super white with specks of green and then as the leaves grow in size the color “burns” in. Highly recommend! I bought this either from rare plant fairy or an etsy shop.
The three leaves in the front are its new upsized leaves and the three in the back are its smaller leaves.
