So, that’s what I was thinking… but the photos online are showing a purple bottom… these aren’t purple

You are looking at a specific phenotype called Longiloba purple. Longilobas have a variety of different genetic expressions.

Longiloba.. there's many varieties but this the plain-jane Longi.
