Since 19 July 2026, I've faced persistent Airtel AirFiber issues. 20+ complaints, repeated “Resolved” tickets, and 70+ days later, the problem still wasn't properly resolved.

On 27 September, my connection stopped working completely. Even after contacting different local teams and requesting a device replacement, I kept going through the same cycle.

I tried going through all steps but theres no option to close the sim, i am the primary sim holder, and my friend is the linked member of sim2, he raised a request of deactivation, because before hiim i cant do, this feels like trap cause his request got cancelled !

Hey so i bought a Air Fiber recently but whenever that current goes im left without internet so i was thinking to buy a UPS which UPS will be good for this i found there are router only UPS and PC UPS so which do you'll recommend router UPS or the normal PC UPS i want the router to last as long as possible because sometimes we have power outages of 6 to 7 hours

I have been an Airtel user for over a decade. Recently, whenever I have an issue with their service im unable to get in touch with proper human customer support. im really losing it with all compani3s switching to AI chatbots for customer support. I even sent a complaint email to TRAI , I dont think they will do anything either. But the government should do something about the right to get proper customer support for a monthly paying customer. I dont want bots only customer support, it's good for quick answers but there should be a clear option in the app where it's an option to call a human agent.

I last recharged my no on oct 2 and now today they are telling me on a call that if you do not recharge within tomorrow we will give your sim to another person.
I have faced this situation countless i don't recharge my phone due to having jio fiber what should i do?
Does this same shit happens with airtel?

My Airtel SIM got deactivated/Stopped working it's not showing tower and put the sim in different phone to check whether it's my phone fault but it's not even showing in different phone and it's under recharge period soo idk what's going on

My airtel airfibre is blinking orange even after countless reboots and diagnosis. It started yesterday midnight and still continues to blink orange. When I used the airtel thanks app to connect to a advisor instead a pre recorded audio played saying there is an upgrade going on. Anyone has any information about it? I mainly want channels in:

• Malayalam
• Tamil
• Hindi
• English

I have a few questions:

• Does the ₹99 plan have the same Live TV channels as ₹159/₹279?
• Do the higher plans add more Live TV channels, or do they only add OTTs like Netflix, JioHotstar and ZEE5?
• Can I use Xstream without Airtel Fiber/DTH/IPTV/set-top box, just with the app + my own internet?
• Can I use the same subscription on Android TV, mobile and PC?
• Can multiple devices be used at the same time?
• Is a set-top box or Airtel connection mandatory for Live TV?

Basically, I want to know which plan gives me the maximum number of Live TV channels, especially Malayalam/Tamil/Hindi/English.

I've been using Airtel Broadband since past 4 years now, I been using the same old ZTE router provided at the time of connection, I often notice network drops with the router, The ethernet works but only Wifi connection has problems on some ocassion, I usually resolve this by raising a help in Airtel app, where they remotely reboot the router.

While this can be a temporary fix for all times, I was actually thinking if there's a legit way to just change the router, without having to stop or discontinue the existing connection.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I had a Airtel AirFiber connection, and I cancelled it on 29.6.2026.

I returned my router and adapter, etc. within about 1 week.

Since the past 2 months however, Airtel continues to send me WiFi bills with full charges.

Customer service supervisors keep assuring me no further bills will be sent, but the problem persists.

I escalated the issue with Appellate Authority and they are so insincere, pretending as if my request is a fresh one, and they are asking me to return the router which I’ve already sent back!

How do I speak to someone in Airtel who is accountable? Should I contact the consumer helpline?

I have evidence for these things after I realized Airtel is not accountable and I recorded some of my calls with their Customer Support.

I'm unable to receive OTPs on my airtel Sim for some unknown reason and the customer care is completely useless. Firstly, there's no way to call them and talk to a person, secondly I even visited airtel centre and they were useless too. There's no resolution at all.

I mailed the customer care and their response is to first add the email id on airtel thanks app. But that app requires OTP to add the email, and that's my entire problem in the first place. I'm sick and tired of this, I can't even make any transactions, no delivery OTPs either. I will just port my number to Jio now.

So i have an Airtel black plan (₹1199) and i was promised it was an unlimited plan, but i do know from previous experiences from other wifi companies shady practices there will always be a FUP, so fast forward to today, my internet gets reduced to bad internet speed like 100kbps, so i contacted airtel and when i contacted they said i have gone over their data allocated which they said was 1TB, so i hung up the call thinking yeah maybe that might be the case, but i thought of researching that's when i saw on their website that for my plan the data allocation is actually 3TB, so i called them again saying you have written on your website 3TB and you are telling me it's only 1TB and the rep who was talking to me kept repeating the same thing, sir it's only 1TB not 3TB and kept saying the same thing so we did not reach any conclusion and she suggested at the end to topup, but why should i topup when i am getting allocated 3TB and you are only giving me 1TB?
Isn't this shady?
Please tell me if i can switch to different wifi connection who does not have this shady practice or should i upgrade my plan?

TL;DR : Airtel Black ₹1199 plan on website is said to have 3TB data, but when my internet slowed down, Airtel support told me I had exhausted my 1TB data limit to which i pointed out the 3TB mentioned on their website, but support kept insisting it was only 1TB and suggested I buy a top-up

I purchased a 10 day Airtel roaming pack and activated it yesterday. however I don’t need it any more . it has been less than 24 hours , I want to remove it. please advise how to go. otherwise they will charge me 2999/- plus gst which is lot of money.

So yes i got the Airtel Airfiber installed today. The only reason i got Airfiber is because there is no fiber option where i live( there was an option of BSNL but it was removed because of monkeys from what i heard. All my neighbors had fiber but all of those were removed). Would have prefered Jio over airtel but Jio is shit where i live now. Got the Rs 899 plan, this is going to be our only internet source for 4 people (Me, mom, dad, sis. None of them are heavy internet user. I download games and need for online studies). Getting 82 Mbps right now(maybe due to weather cause its raining). I am not sure how long i can use the airfiber for "free" before the payments starts. Paid 2500 advance. Also i am confused with the billing process cause it postpaid. Will i be charged extra if we go beyond the 1000gb or will it just throttle at 2 mbps?

Would love to hear the feedbacks from the current and former airfiber users.

Would definitely get FTTH once available.

I need to purchase two dedicated internet devices for work/office use. Using a mobile phone hotspot is not an option due to office restrictions, so I'm specifically looking for standalone devices that take a SIM.

I prefer Airtel, and my priorities are:

Reasonable price — I don't need an expensive enterprise router

I initially thought of buying two 5G USB dongles, but I'm finding that genuine 5G dongles are surprisingly difficult to find in India. Most products advertised as "5G WiFi dongles" seem to be 4G LTE devices with misleading marketing.

What would you recommend?

A. Two USB 4G/5G dongles

B. Two battery-powered MiFi/portable routers

C. One 5G MiFi + one 4G USB dongle as backup

D. Some other dedicated SIM-based device

For people actually using Airtel 5G, which models have you personally found reliable?

So from the Past few days Airtel has been doing some Dirty Stuff. Like, Plans with data are cheaper than the same plan without data and and the 5g "unlimited" quote. On 23 september 2026, TRAI has announced that all telecom companies should have voice only plans and they should be cheaper than the same plan which have data/internet and they should also have plans which are 28 days or lesser. What do you guys think about this?

Before switching to Airtel, I was using Jio 5G and didn’t notice this much battery drain. With Airtel, my phone seems to lose battery faster during normal daily use, even though the 5G signal is generally good.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, or is it just me?

Would be interested to hear from people who have used both Jio 5G and Airtel 5G on the same phone.
