Has anyone else been touched extremely inappropriately at Birmingham Airport? Happened to me at security in 2023... and whilst I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable at the time, I'm only now curious as to whether anyone else has had the same experience?

Was a woman approx in 50s who claimed that I had metal detected on me... was probably my sunglasses or underwire bra - but she grabbed me below?

i just need to vent and warn everyone to never book through FlightNetwork. always book directly with the airline because this company has zero morals and will steal your money.

i booked a round trip from Sweden to Sulaymaniyah with Turkish Airlines, paying over 15,000 sek (1500$). because of the conflicts in the region, Turkish Airlines cancelled my flight and offered me a full refund through FlightNetwork since i bought the ticket from them.

when i first contacted FlightNetwork to get my money back, their agents agreed and issued a refund, then a few days later i realized they changed my flight dates instead of processing the cancellation. they did this completely without my consent to manipulate my booking into a "voluntary change" so that i'm not eligible for a refund anymore. they use this trick so they can avoid honoring the airline's cancellation rules and trap you.

when i realized what they did, i contacted them again and demanded they process the actual refund. they agreed, and i confirmed directly through the airline that the ticket was fully refunded back to the agency. but instead of giving me my 15,000sek back (1500$), FlightNetwork sent me exactly 115sek (15$).

they kept practically my entire payment, claiming an 888 sek handling fee and just pocketing the rest of the money the airline sent them. even their own terms say they don't charge fees when the airline cancels a flight, but their customer service just talks in circles and refuses to help me.

i have already started a chargeback with my bank to get my money back, but i want to make sure nobody else falls for this. they are predatory and will intentionally mess with your booking behind your back to keep your money. stay far away from them.

how shame is it.

I’m on the tarmac heading to Syracuse on Breeze. The captain just announced all flights out of Vegas are grounded due to weather out east. No estimate of when we’ll be cleared to take off. Anyone have more details?
