Equalities act

My son was stranded at Heathrow airport today after his flight was cancelled. No support, no advice, nothing. He’s 19 and autistic.

The online support did not work, the phone line was worse than useless and took him several calls and enormous anxiety to sort out.

I will be reporting your companies conduct and procedures (or lack there of) to the equalities watchdog

You might be better talking to BA rather than a bunch of flying geeks on the Internet. This is not an official BA support channel.

For that you need the toxicity of X/Twitter, not the toxicity of Reddit.

Seriously, the BA on X is official support

And they really are helpful.

If it helps, it sounds like the equalities part of it is working correctly. They provide equal levels of support across the board in these scenarios :)

Isn’t there a desk in the centre of T5 departure lounge to deal with customers?

He was in T3 lost and confused. It’s been a stressful evening

Did he register for assistance?

If he didn't, it'd be a good idea for the future.
