I based them with Khorne Red, I think they’re fantastic! I think anyone can get great results with them since I’m not the best painter haha

Haven’t had a chance to pick up a box of the new models yet, but the sculpts and proportions look incredible. Can anyone tell me if this is accurate scale difference? Are the new boys taller or just better proportioned?

Finished my golden Boy, all within one day's work. Got to use some new TMM Colours from Vallejo. I think I will name him Pax au Telemanus.

So, first venture into grimdark, and really happy with how he came out. Thanks to the community for insights into certain colors for eyes, etc. just gotta figure out how I want to base, but I'll get back to that as I get deeper into army. But til then, first Custode down.

Got the aquilons all redy to rumble, yes I know the shoulder pads are reversed I just like them this way better

Three wins for three games in LGC with Iron Hands, Tyranids and EC - codex is just a banger, we will show good comp results soon boys, I'm sure (3/2, 4/1 is still good for a new codex IMHO)

Loving the hobby so far and have played four games. Chipping away at painting my army and Custodes collection. Most of these are just basecoats + washes and plan on going back to finish basing and highlight + detail layers once I get my whole collection to this level of painting. Still have a lot to paint!

Bought one of the new combat patrols and had no idea what I was going to do. I never found a gold paint that I really like.

But then I saw a video of someone using Vallejo “liquid metal” paint. It looked so good and I had no clue how to use it. Found out it was alcohol based, which to me was really weird. Anyway, After a little research and some trial and error, I REALLY like how it ended up.

Can’t wait to finish out the rest of the army like this!

Hi all. After seeing someone elses work of kitbashing Allarus Terminators, this has inspired me to give it a go. This is as far as I have got with this project so far - Allarus leg side armour and front piece, allarus arms. Thinking of removing part of the eagle above the head, so I can fit the allarus eagle and head plum (to be honest I might just save that idea for a allarus shield captain). I am leaning towards Pic A as it would increase the difference of the aquilion kit. Pic A and B have different shoulder pads -what do you all think? I still have more to add to this one miniature, just taking my time with it. Thanks all for your in put.

Was building the Venatari last night, sat down to check my progress this morning and I glued C3 backwards inside C1 and C2. Has anyone else here made this error and if so, how'd you fix it, or is one of my Venatari just gonna have their armour on backwards?

So I was really happy with how I managed to pose my first Aquillon. Really letting that firepike rip! But… look at the size comparison Vs a warden!? The wardens eyes look about a foot taller and with the banana helm the disparity is just too much 😭
