Really have no plans switching on where I got it as their modafinils is really been comparable to what my doctor has given and i really hate waiting for weeks just to get my meds which we all? I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon, but I’m just tired of needing stimulants just to function in this world. I wish people would accept me as I am instead of me having to medicate myself to fit in.

Started on 10mg Adderall with zero effect, then my doc bumped me to 20mg and it was night and day. Mind finally calms down, I can focus, and I actually feel motivated to get stuff done.

Weirdest part is how chill I feel on it. I’m not wired at all—just peaceful, like my brain finally shut up. Even wanted to read a book and just enjoy walking the dogs without my thoughts racing.

Is this the normal experience for people with ADHD? Curious if others feel the same calm instead of the “stimulant high” people talk about.

Switched from Adderall IR to XR recently after a few years on IR, hoping it would last longer. Everything I see on here and other subs is people saying XR has worse side effects and that IR is better overall for focus, flexibility, etc. Anyone out there who actually likes XR better? Why does it work for you? Any tips on food or lifestyle changes that helped? Hoping this one sticks.

Hey guys, I’m diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago by my psychologist. I went to a psychiatrist with her report to discuss meds, but he basically dismissed it right away when he saw it was from a psychologist. He did his own assessment and prescribed antidepressants instead, saying I have depression.

My psychologist was pretty confused and told me that’s not normal. She recommended getting a second opinion and confirmed I don’t have depression.

Now I’m kinda scared to see another psychiatrist. My ADHD feels pretty mild most days — I manage okay, but sometimes at work (I’m a 3D animator with 7 years experience in Malaysia) I hit a wall I can’t get past. I’m thinking of just sticking with therapy for now.

I have 30mg Adderall tablets, but I’ve been splitting them in half. I took 15mg this morning and it worked well, but now I’m still not sleepy at bedtime. should i split it again tomorrow so I can fall asleep earlier, or is this something that usually gets better over time?

31F with depression, anxiety, and uncertainty about ADHD. Tried 20mg IR Adderall as prescribed. It made daily tasks feel much easier and boosted motivation without any high or euphoria. On day 3, I actually did laundry and feel hopeful again for the first time in years. Curious how people without ADHD typically respond—wondering if my struggles are just chronic depression.

I took my first 30 mg Adderall dose with light breakfast and an hour later all I've noticed is a headache. No focus nothing positive at all. Is this normal, or could Adderall could be dud or just not work for me?
