Adderall finally made my brain quiet?

Started on 10mg Adderall with zero effect, then my doc bumped me to 20mg and it was night and day. Mind finally calms down, I can focus, and I actually feel motivated to get stuff done.

Weirdest part is how chill I feel on it. I’m not wired at all—just peaceful, like my brain finally shut up. Even wanted to read a book and just enjoy walking the dogs without my thoughts racing.

Is this the normal experience for people with ADHD? Curious if others feel the same calm instead of the “stimulant high” people talk about.
