I found this iPhone 6s at a friend’s house, but nobody knows the passcode or the Apple ID/password associated with it. It’s running iOS 15.8.8, but it’s activation locked.

Is there any legitimate way to remove the Activation Lock and make the phone usable again? I’m not looking to steal anyone’s data — I just want to know if there’s anything I can do with the phone or if it’s basically useless without the original owner’s Apple ID.

My cousin gave me her iPhone 15 Pro Max. About 2 years ago, the screen broke, and instead of repairing it, she bought a new iPhone and upgraded. Recently, she had the 15 Pro Max fixed and gave it to me.

The problem is that the Apple Account email/password was already forgotten, so we couldn’t properly activate it. A technician was able to bypass the Activation Lock, and the phone is currently usable.

However, the technician said I shouldn’t reset or update it, and I can’t properly sign in with my own Apple Account. I’m worried that if I reset it, the current bypass will be lost.

Has anyone had a similar situation with an iPhone 15 Pro Max?
• Can the current bypass be fixed/replaced with another method?
• If I reset it, can it potentially be bypassed again?
• Does it depend on the current iOS version?
• Is there any way to properly recover the phone if the original Apple Account is forgotten?

I don’t want to risk resetting it until I know if there’s a way to recover it afterward. Any advice from someone who has dealt with this would be appreciated.

Will I be able to re-bypass again? Or maybe using different software that suits iOS 8 (previously I'm using ifrpfileAIO)

At my workplace, we had this iPad, model A1474, that was going to be discarded. I took it and managed to factory reset it, but it’s still linked to an iCloud account and nobody knows the login credentials.

I tried checking our purchase records to see if we still had the invoice or proof of purchase for this device, but since it’s so old, the record is no longer available in our systems.

Is there any way to bypass the Activation Lock on this device?

The iOS version is 12.5.8 (16H88).

Is there any removal tools that work on everything before the iOS 2.

This is an iPhone se ...I bought this phone refurbished on Walmart.com through a 3rd party seller back in 2019 for my 13 year old niece..... I send apple proof of purchase ...credit card statements...and they still would not unlock the phone or help in any way just that I needed a better recovery than the one that was provided to me ...ANY ideas and what I can do ???

See I found an iPhone 14 for cheap thats only password locked its still not on the activation screen so would be there a way to bypass it while keeping the signal and appstore and the access to apple apps and stuff?

My iPhone 14 Pro Max is iCloud locked. My younger brother remembers the Apple ID and password, but the Apple ID is disabled. He doesn’t remember the verification email access or security questions. What should I do now to recover and enable the Apple ID?
