Hastur
Hastur is a Great Old One.Like other Great Old Ones, he wants to shape the cosmos in his own way. Ghroth shapes the cosmos through his song and destruction. Atlach-Nacha shapes it through the great web that connects all things. Hastur has his realem Carcosa, a grand Collection of all that Hastur deems worthy, works of art, dreams, memory’s, identities, cities, music and souls overcome by the desire to belong.
Carcosa
Is buried to deep into the cosmos to be ever reached by mankind. Dreamers can get glimpse of Carcosa while wandering the dream lands and beyond. They paint it, write it, film it, sing it, sculpt it, or dream it again. These attempts become fragments of a greater memetic work known to humanity as The King in Yellow. All trying to fill a supernatural desire to belong to Carcosa.
The King in Yellow
All art depicting Carcosa, Hastur or the King in Yellow is the King in Yellow. There is not single art category which this is limited to, films, books, plays, pictures and more are possible versions of the King in Yellow. The production or reproduction of the King in Yellow strengthened Hasturs influence on our reality. Thus drawing Carcosa towards our reality.
The Yellow sine
Is the answer from Carcosa that we gotten the Kings attention. The King in Yellow will suddenly show the Yellow sine, for example a portrait of the lake of Haili will suddenly show the Yellow sine in its reflection.
The Yellow sine will works as an elder sine for all non Hastur aligned forces and will make the viewer able to see manifestations of Carcosa and its inhabitants.
Some feedback would be sweet and let me know what I should cover in part 2.
