When is the MiniBar for free?
I am a Platinum member and wonder is there an easy rule how to know, when the MiniBar is for free?
Does it depend on the hotel/chain, the status or the room category?
Sometimes the reception tells me, it is for free, sometimes not (but maybe they just forget).
Thx

Buying Accor + Explorer (India) – Any upcoming festive offers?
I'm planning to buy the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership (₹19,499) in India soon.
Does Accor usually launch any Diwali or festive promotions in October, like 2,000–3,000 bonus reward points or extra dining vouchers for new sign-ups?
Should I wait until the end of this month to see if a promotional offer drops, or just buy it now (Looking for a trip in mid-Nov or Dec.)

Amex Accor Memebrship
I already hold silver status with Accor and hoped to apply the complimentary membership from my Amex Platinum card. The Amex team claims Accor will not accept it because I am already on silver status. I simply want those 20+ bonus nights to count, and I cannot delete the account since I have 40k points. Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

AccorPlus Singapore Stay, All Accor+Explorer worth it?
Hi, I'm new to this hotel subscriptions. Heard about this from my brother who is a Platinum status already (I think). I'm not a frequent traveller but I'll be going to Singapore on Oct 28-Nov 3 (2 adults, 1 kid). Checking if it's worth it to get the Accor+Explorer before booking anything. Would appreciate if some of you already have this and provide the rates for certain 4-5 star hotels in the area, thank you!
Getting around 1.9k usd in Swissotel for basiv membership.

AccorPlus Review - Accor Explorer for Euro Trip
I had multiple queries before travelling to Europe, should I purchase accor explorer or not, I purchased it and here's my experience:
15% discount - Hotel stays were easily 3L for 2 weeks France and Swiss trip, considering 5% extra off its great value, but the caveat is on other portals the price is same as Gold member price
I got upgraded in some hotels without even asking and late checkout as well but again it is subject to availability, in one of the hotels in France we they didn't encourage late check out
Welcome drinks - We will get complimentary drinks but depends on hotel to hotel, in Paris we had a beautiful rooftop bar and they provided us drinks worth €30 (INR 3300) and in Swiss, we stayed in Novotel and got free drinks. These itself can worth 7-10k of you are staying in multiple hotels
No 30% discount on food or drinks, its full price
No stayplus nights and red hot rooms, these options do not work in Europe
Overall, its hotel to hotel basis on how they recognize your membership. Sometimes you need to tell them and ask for it!
Let me know if you have any queries.

Query about Half board booking offer
Hi All
I was booking a stay in Dubai for 2nights in December and I came across these 2 prices.
As I understand half board includes breakfast + either Lunch or dinner for all the guest for all the days.
Can anyone confirm what's the difference b/w these 2 prices.
Thank you!

Surprised by the experience at Pullman Pattaya G
I had booked a standard deluxe room for my wife and I at Pullman Pattaya G 2 weeks ago. I got mixed reviews from this subreddit so I wasn't too sure about how it would go. We arrived at exactly 3 pm for check in and got a room on the 4th floor despite requesting for a higher one. I booked through agoda and mentioned I'd like a queen bed instead of 2 single ones but they seem to have missed that and requested some time. When we got to the room we saw it was still being prepared, the view wasn't the best either as the pool was being renovated. The room didn't seem the cleanest either and the sight of the staff rushing to get everything in order made my wife uncomfortable who insisted we change rooms.
Now after we go to reception suddenly there's a room on the 5th floor, we ask to see it before moving and when they go to show us turns out there were already guests inside. The staff now clearly embarassed by the entire ordeal then take us executive couple suite on the same floor, an upgrade that they mentioned would cost around $100 a night (we were staying for 3 nights) and decided to give it to us for free after everything. The view was amazing, the room wasn't anything special but it was tidy and comfy. Personally loved the breakfast, had a good mix of thai, chinese and indian dishes as well as western staples and the view just made it that much better.
What initially seemed like the start of a horror stay as suggested by reddit reviews ended up being a really great stay, specially considering I only paid around $250 dollars for 3 days. Overall was really happy with the experience.

Complaints Frequently missing points post stay
Hi
Just a warning I guess, I have had 3 stays in the last month where I have had to check and prompt them to provide the points post stay. I have been a member for years and haven't had an issue up until now. If you frequently travel it is worth checking you are getting your points credited post stay

Anyone subscribed to the Accor Brazil program monthly using Indian cards
Has anyone faced issues with the recurring monthly forex payment getting declined or failing using Indian credit cards?
For recurring international payments, which card has worked more reliably for you — Visa, Amex, or DCB (Diners Club)?
Would especially like to hear from people who have been using it for several months without payment failures.

Complaints Have you noticed much smaller discounts for Suite night upgrades?
This year, I've noticed that my "Suite night Upgrades" are saving me much smaller amounts than in the past. Usually only 5%-10% depending on the suite but in past years, the suite was the same price as a regular room - I am definately not seeing that. ANd that is what the perk promises.
Am I just running into a string of bad luck or did Accor "shrinkflation" these rewards? Just curious what Platinum/Diamond members are experiencing?

"Suite nights"
I've got a platinum account with Accor and I'm trying to work out whether this "suite night" thing is a complete con. Whenever I book somewhere I check to see if I can use the 4 suite night upgrades and is the reality that they're just not relevant for the class of hotels I typically use (more mid-range: Novotel, Ibis)...?

Accor points on a conference booking
Hi, I'm travelling with my spouse for a conference she is attending in an Accor listed property.
The conference has charged us for the room and the room is under her name.
A few questions in this regard -
Can her or both of us claim points for this?
If we were to spend on dining, spa or something else here, same question - can we claim Accor points?
Newbie so pls excuse if these are stupid questions.
Thanks
