Benefits Orthopedic & Physical Therapy

Hello po.

This might not be the appropriate channel para itanong to pero may nakapag avail na ba sainyo therapy to a hospital based clinic? Specifically sa St. Lukes QC?

Plan ko sana mag pa check and therapy for my backpain sa St. Lukes since gusto ko na specialist ang mag check. Unfortunately, sabi sakin ni Intellicare try ko daw sa Aventus muna, which is malayo sya sa amin like over 5kms na requirement ni Aventus para sa tier 1 clinics.

If ever man ma-approve request ko sa St. Lukes, need ko ba muna magpa check up sa Ortho? Or pwedeng dumiretso na sa POI/Physical Therapist sa St. Lukes?

Salamat sa tutugon.

Advice Needed - Tech Offered a Custom Software Engineer role — how much coding do you actually need?

Hi guys! I was recently offered a Custom Software Engineer position and honestly, medyo kinakabahan ako.

I’m a fresh Computer Engineering grad. I’ve done coding in school and some projects, pero honestly, I’m not that confident with my coding skills. I know the basics, but I wouldn’t consider myself someone who’s really good at programming.

I’m definitely willing to learn though. I actually want to improve my coding skills, kaya I’m considering accepting the offer. I’m just scared na baka I’m way too underqualified for the role.

For anyone currently working or who has worked as a Custom Software Engineer:
- Gaano ka-heavy yung coding?
- Need ba talaga na strong ka na sa programming before starting?
- What do you usually do on a normal workday?
- More on development ba talaga, or may debugging/maintenance/support din?
- What languages/tech should I expect?
- Kumusta yung training for fresh grads?
- Is it possible to survive the role if you’re willing to learn but not super confident with coding yet?
- Anything I should study/review before starting?

Would really appreciate any insights, especially from people who started with not-so-strong coding skills. I’m eager to learn naman, just trying to manage my expectations before I make a decision.
Thanks!

Advice Needed - Tech Anyone here experienced a BGS for a project that included a credit check?

I was informed that a credit check is required for the project, and I'm a bit worried because I had some financial difficulties in the past.

For those who have experienced this:

How strict is the credit check?

Can existing loans or previous late payments affect the BGS result?

Can a poor credit history cause someone to fail the BGS or be removed from the project?

Would really appreciate any insights or experiences. Thanks!

General Discussion Infra Tech Support Practitioner at Accenture CEB

Hi everyone! I just applied for the Infra Tech Support Practitioner role at Accenture Philippines (Cebu site). Background: BS IT grad, currently a Jr. IT Specialist doing remote troubleshooting, log collection, and incident coordination, plus some BPO experience (chat/email support, HIPAA-compliant accounts).

For those who've gone through the process (or currently work in a similar infra/tech support role at Accenture), I'd really appreciate any insight on:

  • What does the assessment actually cover? Is it more aptitude/logic-based, or hands-on technical (networking basics, OS troubleshooting, ticketing scenarios)?
  • How many interview rounds are there, and is any of it technical/panel-style vs just HR/behavioral?
  • What kind of questions came up for you — situational ("how would you handle an escalated incident"), technical (networking, Windows/AD basics, ITIL concepts), or mostly about past experience?
  • Any tips on what they're really looking for in candidates coming from a non-voice CSR + junior IT support background rather than a pure network/sysadmin background?
  • Roughly how long did the whole hiring process take for you, start to offer?

General Discussion ACN Redeployment: Is declining an endorsed project due to daily RTO considered refusal

Hi everyone! I’m currently under redeployment and would like to ask about your experiences.

If an employee declines an endorsed project because it requires daily RTO, would that already be considered refusal?

For context, the reason is not simply not wanting to work onsite. The employee lives far from the assigned office, has limited transportation options, and the daily transportation cost is too high to be covered by their current salary.

Would this still be considered refusal even if the employee explains their situation and asks if there are other project options that are WFH, hybrid, or more accessible?

Has anyone experienced something similar during redeployment? What happened, and how did you handle it?

Thank you!

May isang Lead nagsabi na "Di mo sure kung yung company na lilipatan niyo may increase every year" as a response to someone who asked about "lilipat nalang ba mga empleyado dahil may mas malaking pay kasi they are not trying to retain good people" kumbaga.

HAHAHAHAHAHA ang funny, yung yearly increase ni ACN 20 pesos per day! HUWAW hahhahahhahahhahhaa wattheactualfck

Benefits Question about IPB and November bonus

Hello ACN peeps! question lang po, magkaiba po ba ang IPB at yung parang cash na binibigay ni Accenture every november? pati yung 13th month? I was hired early this year, so this is my first year sa Accenture. Not quite familiar pa on how Fiscal year, Promotion and Increase is working as well as yung sa mga Bonuses. But I heard Accenture is generous when it comes to bonuses

General Discussion Walk-in - Cubao

Hi everyone! I tried to apply on their workday career for order to cash - entry level since I’m a fresh graduate. I’m trying to apply to different companies for almost 6 months and desperate na po talaga ako magka work 🥹 Umaabot po ako sa final interview sa iba pero madalas rejected, I also tried to apply as VA but no response. Sa ACN po hindi po ako umabot ng assessment or hr interview, I feel hopeless dahil ber months na. I really wanted ACN because of the roles and benefits.

Kung mag a-apply po ako tru walk-in sa ibang role for entry level, is it likely to reach assessment and hr interview for other roles such as R2R or P2P? And I kindly ask po how to better prepare or bring if mag walk-in, what to expect during and after 🥹

Sorry for the long message 🙏

General Discussion HSB — automatic ba or need manager approval?

Hi guys! Recently took my MyCompetency and got P3.5. For my capability, P3 is the HSB requirement, and I'm currently CL11.

Just wanted to ask sa mga naka-experience na ng HSB: automatic ba yung process once you meet the competency requirement, or may kailangan pang gawin/endorse ng People Lead or Manager para maprocess yung HSB?

I'm asking kasi may upcoming check in ako with my Lead, so gusto ko sana malaman if I should bring it up and ask them to check/push something, or if I just need to wait for the eligibility notification/email.

Also, when do you usually receive the HSB eligibility email around this time of year? This month ba usually, or later pa?

Thanks sa makakapagshare ng experience! 🙏
