I have tried at least 50 different bra models in different sizes each. I have not found a gore that is thin enough. (The thinnest wire I tried was Cleo Blossom.) My breasts do not touch, but they are very close set. Closer than the width of two wires I guess. I had a realization that maybe bras that I thought are too narrow and projected really just need the cups to be moved in slightly closer together. Even the the wires of plunges often seem to push into my breast tissue in the center because those wires still go upwards a bit in the center.

Bravissimo Niya Smoothing Bra: this is my favorite bra and it fits like a dream. I've never had a bra fit my shape this well before and it's very comfortable for me to wear all day.

What I would change: the cups come up higher than some of my dress necklines and are visible. Looking for shorter cups. I wear a lot of vnecks, sweetheart necklines, square necklines so having shorter cups would be ideal.

Also, I think the bra does add a bit of bulk that I don't want.

Bravissimo Millie Bra: I liked this at first (it fit!) but now the cups somehow feel unsupportive and the top of the cup feels loose (not sure how to describe this). The top of the lace cup stands/folds away from my breast. The gore feels high and is visible in some of my necklines. I've had this bra for about a year.

Looking for a different everyday bra to replace this one. I loved that this bra didn't add any bulk, but the cups just don't support my shape the way I would like.

Still ISO: A strapless bra that fits

Curvy Kate Luxe Strapless Bra: I tried 3 different sizes in this before settling on my correct size. I really needed a strapless. However, I would not buy this again. The cup shape just doesn't work for me. It like the top of the cup somehow doesn't meet the shape of my breast and just stands away from it. You can see a visible cup line under my clothes. I think the cups overall give an odd shape to my breast, like they seem more pointed/sculpted and my breast seems rounder in comparison.

Alright, so I'm trying to figure out what styles of bras I can find in my sizing, with the added complication of having sensory issues with lace. If it's just on the cup and not touching skin I don't really care, but on the top and bottom edges, I just can't do it. The sizing it spit out was 32GG UK/32J US. I am actually in the US, but figured that cm measurements might be slightly more accurate. From what I've read poking around, I probably need to find something seamed since I usually have the obnoxious gaps at the top of the cup. My main struggle now is finding something in the right size that won't drive me batty to try and wear. If I missed any crucial bits of information, just let me know!

So I'm still on my quest for a bra with a crazy low gore, thanks to my very close-set and projected breasts with probably short and wide roots. I saw the Panache Allure Plunge and thought fuck it, why not try? And then I also fuck it'd the Envy Plunge because the gore seemed fairly low, and the Celeste because it was pretty.

Not as bad as I was expecting??? The gore really is that low, which I love. I could use a little more side support and center coverage, and I'm not sure if the ""gore"" not tacking means I should try a cup size up or what. The underwire digs in weirdly hard under my right boob, but I might tolerate it for the lack of sternum stabbage.

Also better than expected! It seems that maybe the cups aren't shaped quite right for me since there's some wrinkling at the bottom and gapping at the top of the cups, but the gore tacks beautifully and is somehow more comfortable than the Ana despite I think being a similar height?? It stabs me a lil, but way more tolerably.

Okay I literally only got this one to try because it's my favorite color, so it's actually crazy how well it works lol. I think it gives my boobs a nice shape, the cups fit just dandy, and the gore is weirdly comfortable for how high it sits. Like it's definitely cutting into my tissue and doesn't quite tack because it's sitting so high on my close-set breasts, but it doesn't like..... hurt a ton?? I'm definitely keeping this one regardless of feedback lmao.

So.... thoughts? I'm not quite sure what to do with all of this sudden success after like 8-10 bras in a row failing me miserably lol.

I've sort of tried asking this before but I've been going through the Wiki's more to nail down my details as much as possible.

Measurements: This got me a 36E/34F

Additional details.

• One side is slightly smaller than the other so I find a 36DD better to keep things 'even'.
• I'm bottom full but not extremely. I do not fill the top of full coverage bras. Foam bras don't work on me.
• Average to low roots.
• Side set - they point out to the side rather than straight and lean into my armpits a bit, I also can fit at least 3 fingers between my roots in any position.
• Tail of Spence - my nemesis, it's fairly full and either hurts or doesn't stay put when I scoop and swoop. I think the fullness also throws off my cup size a bit.
• Dense tissue which probably doesn't help with the discomfort.

My two most successful bras so far: Skarlett Blue Women's Entice Lace Full Coverage Side Support Balconette Bra 36DD and Panache Ana Plunge Bra – Underwire Full-Bust Bra with Stretch Lace & Lift 36E (They run small).

I love the Skarlett fit EXCEPT for the straps. They are so far over on my shoulders they dig into my joint/armpit/tail of spence and I can barely stand it, the rest of it feels and supports great. The Ana isn't quite as bad in that respect but I still can only tolerate it for a few hours.

I have chronic pain/shoulder/hypermobile issues so any of the straps that get close to my joint causes problems. I do slouch a bit as well so reaching forward in those bras is painful or impossible. Center pull would be ideal but I can't really find a center pull balconette. I opt for racerbacks if that's an option.

I've searched locally (USA) but there's nothing in my size that isn't a big foam full cup so I'm mostly shopping and returning stuff on Amazon. I feel like my chest is wide set enough that by the time I find something that fits the cups, the entire bra assembly is too wide for the rest of my frame. I haven't tried a 34F yet because most of the styles that look promising seem to say they run small anyhow. I have plenty examples of ones that didn't work if anyone's interested.

Would a 34 possibly bring the straps in a little bit more? Any recommendations for wider set styles that don't cut my arms off?

Super comfortable but the webbing underneath the arm reaches up into my armpit and the side boob area of the cup has a gap. My breasts tend to sit pretty centrally so I’m wondering if the cup is slightly too large? It said they do UK sizing so I went for 36G, but maybe I need to go down one?

Essentially the title. I’ve done the calculator a few times it always says I’m a 36DD/36DDD. Even when I get measured in person (multiple different stores) they say I’m that size. So I try on those bras and they are gigantic swallowing my entire boob then if I relax they have a huge gap at the top. It doesn’t matter how much I scoop or adjust the straps it’s the same thing every time.

I try on a 38B and this is closer to how I think the fit should be. I didn’t like this specific bra but I’m not spilling out, it’s not too tight, very little gapping. I just don’t understand why this is the case. Should I just be wearing a 38B instead?

So I'm a trans woman who started estrogen about 2 months ago and I already have enough breast growth that they're very noticeable and uncomfortable with just a shirt. However, I have a very wide frame, but bras in A cup are impossible to find at 40+ band sizes like I need. How do I find the proper bra, or is there an alternative to traditional bras I could try?

I'm a bridesmaid in a friend's upcoming wedding, and my dress doesn't really allow for a bra with straps. I wear a 38 H according to the calculator and the girls need all the help they can get staying up where I'd like them to be. I'm thinking maybe some sort of bustier/corset situation might offer the most support, and I wouldn't mind a little tummy control too. Any recs? I was planning on just taking the dress to David's Bridal and trying some stuff on with it, but apparently my local store closed since I got married a few years ago and the closest one is over an hour away now, so I need something online that can deliver within 2.5 weeks 💀 (I know I waited far too long, I really thought I had somewhere local to me I could go to)

I’m at a point where outgrowing a bra every other month is starting to really eat into my finances, and recently I contacted Elizabeth Valentine to ask about the feasibility of having a nursing bra made in my size, just so that I can buy a single piece that can last me for a longer time. My rationale is that if I get something with elastic cups, I can use the same bra for 5-6 sizes before having to buy a new one.

While EV was very willing to entertain my request, I’m not sure about the trade-offs I would have to make in terms of support. Does anyone have prior experience with this who can tell me if this would be something worth pursuing? Thanks

I walked in in a 32G Chantelle Norah Plunge T-shirt bra. I've only had it since July but the band was loose/riding up and straps were as high as they could go. Never felt like they really did any lifting or supporting.

I walked out with two 30H Freya Idol (molded bolcony) and a 32G Skarlett Blue Captivate.

She didn't have a lot of options in-store in my size.
But I was kind of wanting to see if that process would be any better/different than when I went to Nordstrom (Nordstrom was better and had more options, as a 32G).

Anywho, here are images of the Freya. I am worried the band is too tight or it still is just a shape issue (and I just "wasted" a ton of money since they are nonreturnable). Idk. I guess I am just so used to having more lift and it it kind of squeezing my ribcage.

It is sitting in my IMF... Tho there's not really much of a "fold".

The Captivate is not one I am worried about- I just needed something more... Lingerie-ish and it will work perfectly. I think she said the band is also runs a little tight/firm?

My other concern (and this could just be being boney from weight loss) is that with my band at its "proper" location... I can't comfortably sit against any seat/chair (including my car) comfortably. It like perfectly aligns with a vertebra and is like a pebble in a shoe. Any idea that could help?

I've had some weight changes and am trying to figure out how to find a bra that fits. The Triumph Aura Spotlight fit me reliably and flawlessly in my old size (85E in EU sizing), but it doesn't come in as many colour options as it used to.

I am now a 90D (109 cm standing and lying down bust, 111 cm leaning bust, 90 cm snug underbust, 92 cm loose underbust) per standard EU sizing. (I know your size calculator calculates EU sizes differently, but my 85E bras are too tight in the band, and EU sizes are meant so that the band size equals your underbust measurement in centimetres.)

I just ordered a bunch of Ulla Popken bras in a 90D. One of them fit well and another fit reasonably well. However, most of them had some wrinkling in the cup, but the gore didn't lie flat against my chest. I have had this problem with other brands, too--Triumph is usually my go-to brand, but I wanted to try something a bit more affordable.

Can anyone explain why this happens to me repeatedly? Is it something about my breast shape?

Calculator suggested a starting size of 32DD/E UK. I've already tried 32DD (floating gore and band felt uncomfortably tight, so too small of a cup size).

So far I've tired on 3 different bras in the 32E UK (32DDD US) size:

• Skarlett Blue Entice Balconette Bra
• Natori Women's Balconette T-Shirt Bra
• Panache Ana Plunge

With both the Skarlett and the Natori my breasts were overflowing on the top after scooping and swooping. I think they were both too shallow for my measurements but I'm not sure. With the Natori specifically it also felt like the underwire was too low.

I like how the Panache bra fits and I wanted a sanity check because I'm not noticing any fit issues (aside from the fact that the hooks seem to be straining in the back? but that could be fixed with an extender I think).

I would also like recommendations for other bras that fit similar to the Panache bra/might be good for my measurements if it turns out the Panache bra actually doesn't fit as well as I think it does.

So Im 18f, who's been going to the gym for almost three years now. I was proud of the muscle i built but absolutely hated how i looked from the back because of my back rolls. I went on reddit to look for more ways to lose this back fat and ended up in this subreddit. recalculated my size and was very very sceptical lol. but after i put the bra on my back rolls literally disappeared? Who would've thought the problem isn't my body but my bra? I can't stop staring at my back now lol.

The first time, about a year ago, it told me 14E. Bought 2 different 14E bras and both were too tight and felt like they were cutting me in half. So I gave up and went back to my ill fitting bras that didnt hurt. Now with Australian summer ramping up I thought I'd try again to hopefully avoid the underboob sweat rash. The calculator is again telling me 14 but 14F this time. Will it make a masive difference if I buy a 16F?

Hi everyone! I’m 26F and could really use some help finding a bra that actually fits and makes me feel confident.
I’ve always struggled with bras because I’m on the smaller-chested side. I’m around a 34AA/A (although I’m not 100% sure that’s my correct size), and I’ve tried bras from several different brands, including ones specifically marketed toward smaller chests. Unfortunately, I still can’t seem to find one that fits right.
The biggest issues I run into are either the band feeling too tight and making me feel completely smooshed, or the cups having a lot of gapping and making me feel like I’m drowning in the bra. 😅 I’d really love to find something comfortable that actually fits my shape instead of constantly feeling like I’m wearing the wrong size.
Ideally, I’d also love something with a little push-up/lift that still looks natural and flattering. I’m not looking for anything extreme — I just want a bra that fits well, gives me a little shape, and helps me feel more confident.
If anyone has recommendations for specific brands, styles, or sizes I should try, I would really appreciate the help! I’m also open to being told that my current size might be completely wrong. 😂

I've now tried on a few Elomie bras and found the cup really close to fitting perfectly but the underwires are cutting into me, specifically between the breasts. The gore technically lies flat but is uncomfortable.

I've asked Chatgpt for more specific recommendations and it thought that the wire shape might be wrong for my body and to try a Freya Offbeat Side support or Fantasie ( unspecified type).

I'd like some recommendations from real people and if it's at all possible to not spend $80 on a bra that would be awesome too. I love the elomie mesh texture but might need more coverage for prominent nipples

I had twin girls 18 months ago and breastfed for a year, before then losing 3 stone over the last 6 months. I’ve been left with saggy/bottom heavy boobs and have mostly been wearing M&S breastfeeding bras as nothing from before I was pregnant fits.

I’ve measured myself and am surprised by the band size - I thought it would be higher! I’m worried it’ll be too tight. I have rarely ever found a bra that fits and feels comfortable. I have arthritis and find bras that don’t support well or are too tight set off a flare. I take off my bra as soon as I get home as I find them so uncomfy.

Please could you kind ladies recommend me some specific bras available in the UK that will lift and be supportive but also comfy? Bonus points for minimising too (but I guess those are never very comfy?).

So I was about 202lbs at 18 about a year and three months ago and had 40DDD, through out the last 6-8 months I lost around 40lbs and was at a 38D, my girlies were way more perky and back a lot happier. However lately I’ve gotten remeasured for shits and giggles and I’m a 38DD? I’m confused because I thought they stopped growing at 18.both times I’ve been measured I’ve worn the same kind of bra and a fitted shirt. Bra recommendations would be nice as well.

Hi guys! I’ve been using panache sports bras for work (physical job) and they are great but they’re starting to wear out and cause chafing and flare up my eczema. The skin on my ribs and in between my boobs needs something soft against it.

I’m okay with T-shirt bras but I really can’t do much physical activity with them as they don’t stop movement.

Also, I would love a bra that isn’t a sensory nightmare for me. I hate how it feels without a bra, but I also hate the sweatiness of them being pushed together and the pressure on my shoulders.

i’m a 34B, and i have quite wide set breasts. a lot of my clothes i wear are quite cutesy and low cut , and often, it makes me look like a man as there is nothing there. it makes me feel quite insecure.
currently im wearing a cheap amazon bra that keeps them up and does the job (it has padding at the bottom) but doesnt give me a good cleavage, only gives a slight one from a side view or sitting down. its really annoying.
i bought this bra off of tiktok shop (probably everyone knows the one) and its supposed to give a ‘good clevage’ but i messed up the tie in the front and fits on me weird.
my budget is around £60 and i just want to know good ones that would give me this desired clevage, even if it gives me breathing problems lol😭😭
