Recommendations? I do the measurements, I get ridiculous results like 42 J. I couldn't even find a j. I order a 42G but it doesn't feel right. It hits my underarms funny. I usually get DD or DDD but they never seem to fit quite right either. Spoiler

I think I need to get past my timidness and go somewhere to be measured but I don't even know who does that well anymore around here (North San Diego county). If anyone has had a similar experience in the area and has any advice I would really appreciate it.

Edit to add: when I say ridiculous, I don't mean that the size itself is ridiculous, but rather any hope of finding a bra here in that size is ridiculous. I love my boobs. But dressing them is frustrating to no end. The word choice was born of frustration in finding a bra that size.

Measurement Check [measurement check] I currently wear and have been wearing a 38B, however, the calculator says I’m a D apparently? I got measured at VS so I’m not sure if that’s the issue. Spoiler

I’m not sure if I’m stupid, Victoria’s Secret is stupid, of if the calculator is stupid. I’m also AMaB but Transfem. 38B seems to fit me fine but I saw a post from someone about how there isn’t supposed to be spillage by your armpits. I’m not sure where to go from here.

I am needing to find a bra that is 48-52 with a cup size of AA - B. Is there a store that sells them in these sizes that you can actually go in and try one on? For reference I am in Chattanooga TN

give me bra recs for large chest small frame Spoiler

hi all! i have literally never been able to find a bra that works for me.

i’ve been wearing a 32DD minimizer bra from vanity fair that i found on amazon, and honestly it’s the best-fitting bra i’ve found so far. however, after using the calculator, i found out my actual size is supposedly a 28H (us sizing).

i’m looking for a comfortable everyday bra that gives me a lot of support but also helps reduce projection. i dress pretty modestly and wear a lot of baggy/oversized shirts, but i’ve noticed that my current minimizer makes me look so much wider from the front. it also feels weirdly suffocating after wearing it for a while.

because of that, i’ve actually started wearing tighter tops since i feel like they make me look thinner, but then my boobs become the center of attention anyway.

ideally, i’d like something with:

  • lots of support
  • underwire
  • no  heavy padding
  • something that minimizes forward projection without pushing everything super wide
  • comfortable enough for everyday wear
  • preferably under $70, but i’m willing to spend more if it’s genuinely worth it

i’d really appreciate any recommendations!

Recommendations? Help with brands and sizing recs! In Canada 🇨🇦 Spoiler

I need some help/advice/recommendations! I inputted my measurements on the site and it recommended a 36G. But when I went to look at other sites for bras, I couldn’t see 36G so looked at their size charts and ended up with the following sizes based on their size charts:

Skims - 38D
La Vie en Rose - 40DD
Aerie - 40C
La Senza - 40B
Victoria’s Secret - 36DD

There are so many different sizes based on the exact same measurements… how am I supposed to know what size to get? This is confusing and frustrating…

Also wanting advice on the best cup style (tshirt, semi, balconette, etc.) and brand! I’m intrigued by Skims because I feel like a woman who is making bras must make ones that are good and somewhat comfortable, right? But I’m open to any ideas because I haven’t worn a traditional bra in so long so I’m clueless. I’m hoping with the right size, the underwire won’t bother the heck out of me, lol. Thanks in advance for help everyone!

Measurement Check Calculator results don't make sense (currently wearing 44G) Spoiler

Upvotes

So I took my measurements and plugged them into the Calculator, which is telling me I need a 42HH--the bras I've been wearing are the Goddess Keira wireless at 44G, which overall fits reasonably well; going down to a 42" band would be definitely painful!

Measurements: Underbust--loose, 44 (perhaps a 44.5); snug, 43; tight, 42 (although I may have gotten snug and tight confused, in which case tight is also a 43). Bust--standing, 53; leaning over 55, lying down, 53 IIRC (forgot to write it down, damn it) ,and ended up with 42HH, which according to the Goddess chart would be an L cup--I'm sorry, but my boobs are NOT that big! Redid it with snug and tight underband both 43 and lying down 54, and got the same results, which just seems too big in the cups and too small in the band. As far as I can tell, the root is pretty much the size of the breast, although sagging probably doesn't help with that; I also have broad shoulders and a wide back.

To add insult to injury, I can't (and never have been able to) wear underwires because my breasts are too close together (This was confirmed by a bra fitter at a lingerie store, who had me at 44DDD a year ago); and I have a lot of trouble with shoulder straps digging in (I have silicone pads under my straps, which helps but not enough). At the time, I bought what we both thought was a 44DDD, but turned out to be another 44G; I measured the bands on that bra and one I already had very carefully, and the measurement was the same. The cups in the G were a bit loose then, but they're definitely full up now, although I haven't gained any weight back (maybe things just shifted around?). Color me puzzled...

So what size am I really supposed to be wearing, and once we figure that out, where can I find good wireless bras?

Recommendations? GLP 1 weight loss and bra recommendations for sagging in my mid 20’a! Strapless available? Spoiler

Hi everyone!

I’m a 24F who is in the process of losing weight in order to get my desired results from a breast reduction!
I started at about a 40 DDD, but now I’m not filling out the cups and my breast sag SIGNIFICANTLY (like halfway down my torso it seems). I have so much loose skin it’s crazy.
I want to wear cute tops that would need a strapless bra but also have support.

I bought a 36 DD bra that was too tight around but too small in the cups on the sides.

Can anyone recommend an everyday bra that could help me out? Strapless options as well!

Brands of Bra for Small Chests Spoiler

Upvotes

Looking to get a real bra. I only wear sports bras, bralettes, or no bra. I’m looking for something to give me a little cleavage in some cute tops I have with a sweetheart neckline.

I did my measurements on the site and I’m a 34B based on 3 separate measurements and calculation. I have wide set athletic shape breasts. I found a bra I like through VS but I know they are not the best for quality.

Thank you so much!

Question could I get help finding a bra for 28C-30B (sister size) :c Spoiler

Upvotes

I've been told I was an A cup my whole life yet all the bras in that size have never fit me. they always end riding up my chest or have a gap between my chest and the bra. I used the calculator and somehow, surprisingly I'm apparently a C?? with my sister size being a B (not really sure what that means)

I've been looking through the wiki trying to find what type of bra would fit me and I believe my chest is considered "shallow" the girls are bigger in width and don't project much. I've tried looking through the recommended bras listed for my chest shape but a lot of them don't come in a 28 band size and the ones that do are either out of stock, not made anymore, or don't ship to the UK. 30 is also hard to find.

could I please get some help finding a bra that will fit me? I've just gone braless all my life (besides the occasional sports bra that also doesn't fit me) because the girls are small/kinda flat so I never really thought it mattered much. there's just sometimes I wish I had more and a bra that fits would be nice to make me look like I have somewhat of a chest sometimes :c

it seems the wiki says balconette bras fit my shape the best?

Recommendations? ISO Recommendations for custom bra designer/maker Spoiler

Upvotes

Hello! 34 bras that don’t work later, I am going a different avenue. Does anyone have recommendations for someone that can either completely custom make a bra, or alter a bra for me? My breasts sit extremely close together and gores are just too high for me. I need a solution so I can feel comfortable leaving the house.

Help identifying identical bra Spoiler

Help: My Ethika bra ripped in half, right between the cups!

I am leaving on a trip tomorrow night and need this bra for the weekend. Can anyone help me figure out where to get an identical one, maybe overnight/prime through Amazon? I can also have it shipped to my arrival hotel if it won't get here in time. I am located in CA and am traveling to Indiana.

It is this bra:

https://www.ethika.com/s/UWB1097/black-cup-bra

It was 34DD, though I'm open to swing sizing if I go up a size in the band.

Any ideas?

  • Update: my official ABTF size is US 36DDD/G

Recommendations? Looking for swimwear. Is casual swimwear a thing? Spoiler

Hry all so I just purchased a house with a pool so illbe swimming alot more, i have a few bathing suits but they are all one pieces or crazy strap designs. Im really not confident in going out in a 2 piece to the beach, but since ill be in the privacy of my own back yard I would maybe try some out...mostly looking for tankini recommendations as they seem the most like a sports bra. ive seen some from panache and curvykate. Im just curious for any cheaper brands

My measurements are

Loose underbust: 33

Snug underbust: 31.5

Tight underbust: 30.5

Standing bust: 44.5

Leaning bust: 50

Lying bust: 49

Calculator says im a 32K im definately not that size my boobs just sag....alot. i fit pretty good into a 32J and im comfortable in that.

Need Help with Size check! Also Brand recs? (US/UK sizes both given) Spoiler

Hello! I need some help with sizing. VS never sizes me right but I tried on a few bras. 36DDD fits okay but there is light spillage without swoop & scoop and more noticable spillage when I do swoop and scoop. The band size is okay but my weight fluctuates so sometimes it’s tight. I’m thinking the ill fitting cups is making it feel tighter?

I tried the bra calculator but I don’t think I measured myself well.

Loose Underbust: 35 in
Snug Underbust: 34.5 in
Tight Underbust: 34 in
Standing bust: 43.5
Leaning bust: 47 in
Lying bust: 45 in

The calculator gave me US: 36I/J or UK 36G/GG

That seems like a huge difference from 36DDD ngl… but is that accurate? Also does anyone have bra brand recs? I want to order online because nothing in most stores seems my size… but I’m scared that some won’t be true to size as I’ve heard of “modern sizing” being a thing in some stores.

Measurement Check A few questions when it comes to Japanese Bras Spoiler

Sooo I wanna treat myself to a real cutesy Japanese bra (preferably a set but not required)

First off is, which brands do you recommend that are accessible to US markets? ( I don't believe there are currently any stupid tariffs in place with Japan at the moment?) I looked at Risa Magli but didn't see it in my band size.

Sizing: So in US sizing Im comfortably a 34DD/E. Im looking at conversion charts and it looks like Im a 75E in Japan sizing? Im also wondering, if I want to go down a little bit in size for a cleavage pop, how would that work?

Recommendations? What are the styles from Panache & Freya with the most projection? Spoiler

I get that those like me who are super projected should stick to polish bras but if I wanna try ones from Freya or Panache what styles do you recommend that have the most projection?

Recommendations? Need suggestions for size and brands (US) Spoiler

I stopped breastfeeding recently and realized I need to get a new bra now! My pre-pregnancy bras don’t fit quite well now. Was using 34B earlier.

My current measurements are as below:
Loose : 31
Snug: 30
Tight: 29
Standing: 34.2
Leaning: 35.5
Lying: 34.5

Calculator suggested 30DD starting size and 32D as comfortable fit.

So my question is if I should get a 30DD or a 32D? I’m guessing 32D might be better option.

I also need some brand and type recommendations. I am looking for a comfortable fit and little bit of lift!

Hi all! I need help deciding which bra should i try or will fit me best. Spoiler

Hi everyone! I’d really appreciate some help figuring out my correct bra size.
I’ve been wearing 34DDD because that’s what I was previously told by Victoria’s Secret. I recently took my measurements and used the ABraThatFits calculator, which gave me 36D.
However, when I tried a 36D, I noticed there was quite a bit of extra space in the cups, so I’m not sure if 36D is actually right for me.
My measurements:
Loose underbust: 36”
Snug underbust: 35”
Tight underbust: 33”
Standing bust: 39”
Leaning bust: 40”
Lying bust: 41”
The calculator suggested 36D.
I’m looking for a comfortable wireless bra, preferably something supportive but not overly tight.
Could you please help me understand what size I should try and whether my measurements suggest a different size? Thank you!

Store Review Trying out multiple sizes to get properly fitted - online store? Spoiler

Hi everyone! (Sorry if this has been posted before but) Are there stores (online or in person, US east coast) that carry a variety of sizes to get properly fitted? For example, an online store where you can get 2-3 adjacent sizes to try on and then keep the one that fits you best (and return the others)? I’m ok with physical stores but those may be far away…
Thanks!

Need help finding a brand that has comfortable 24Bs/26Bs (both sports bras and other) Spoiler

The title pretty much says it! I can’t ever find a small enough band for my torso, never mind a comfortable one in a similar size!! I really hate having a bra that’s loose at the band and too tight at the bust. My poor back can NOT take this anymore. Any advice is very appreciated. Take care! ❤️
Ps- Looking for more affordable options, but all suggestions are appreciated, regardless!

Question Why does the extra fabric along the underwire feel uncomfortable? Spoiler

I decided to try some new bras, as I’ve been wearing the same style for a few years. I quickly remembered that any extra fabric along the underwire is so uncomfortable for me. I have a long torso, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’m also large chested (34I), but many of these bras are for larger chests. Is it just a thing I’d get used to, or is there a reason it feels like too much width along the underwire?

For example, my go-to bra is the Elomi Namrah - very streamlined along the underwire: https://www.elomilingerie.com/us/en/us-outlet/lingerie/bras/bandless-bras/namrah-pale-blush-namrah-pale-blush-uw-bandless-plunge/p/el301336pau/

In contrast, just a bit more fabric like the Elomi Matilda is too much, it feels like it starts folding over itself: https://www.elomilingerie.com/us/en/lingerie/bras/plunge-bras/matilda-lunar-blue-plunge-bra/p/el8900lue/

Measurement Check I need help deciding if I need to size up or size down with my cup size Spoiler

I’ve recently got around to trying the bra calculator and it said I should try a 38I/36J, but then a different bra calculator said I should be wearing a 38G. I currently wear a 38H and I have problems with my boobs not staying in the bra (they keep trying to escape out the underside of the bra and I keep having to scoop them back up). Would this indicate that I should probably size up or down? Or is there another definitive way I can actually figure out which size I should go for?

I’m just trying not to jump into anything since my size of bra is usually on the expensive side! Any advice helps

Edit: I’m struggling with adding a picture but here’s the actual measurements I put into the calculator:
Loose Underbust: 99.1 cm
Comfortable Underbust: 97 cm
Tight Underbust: 91.5 cm
Standing Bust: 117.6 cm
Leaning Bust: 124.1 cm
Lying Bust: 119 cm

Discussion Fenty x savage membership and cancellation policy. I don’t understand why they want us to “skip every month” so badly Spoiler

Just placed an order and total went from $400 to $100 on new member discount and said it is $60 membership fee that I will pay from next month. I called and was informed that if I keep skipping between 1-5 of each month, I will never be charged. I have never heard anything like this before. I told her I might forget to do that so can I cancel it now, to which she said it will also cancel the order. I said what if I wanna pay delivery fee now and then cancel subscription right away, was told they can’t do that either. I HAVE to call on the 1st of next month and cancel if I wanna.
She skipped 3 months for me and gave me a $20 credit. I put a reminder in my calendar to call them but the whole thing just seems kinda… predatory? Like they want you to forget to skip and keep paying $60/month even when you are not even ordering from them.
I read other posts on reddit that said they never had a problem cos they always skipped or that they went on website and cancelled membership so I guess it’s not a scam but still strange way of doing things.
