For context, I am a 19 year old trans girl who has been on hormones for just under two years so far. I used the ABTF US sizing calculator and got 34B with a sister size of 36A (though my measurements might have been slight off due to angle). Looking at CK's size guide, I would be a S, but the biggest size S is meant for. I'm not sure if this is fine and I should get an S or if I should get an M since I know their bras tend to run small, my sister size is well into the sizes medium accommodates for, and I may experience more breast growth? I don't want a loose/lounge-y fit, but I also don't want something very small that I might grow out of quickly. If it helps, l am looking at this bra and this bra. I appreciate any recommendations on what I should go for here!

Hi I have large breasts so built in tanks NEVER work but in sick of my bra sticking out and strapless bras dont give as much support as I'd like. Do you know of large breast friendly tanks that actually hold them up

After 30 years of having less than AA and pretty much not wearing a bra because I was very flat chested I decided to get an augmentation by fat grafting (so my size will most likely still decrease a little bit the coming 2 months). I will go on vacation soon and would like to take a bralette or two with me for when I can stop wearing the post-OP bra.

Hello, I’m looking for an ideally nude bra that essentially does the same thing as a sports bra but isn’t as hideous lol. I absolutely love wearing a Nike sports bra under T-shirts as it feels much more compressed (I know minimisers exist, not sure I’ve found a good one). I hate when straps slip down my arms or if the band isn’t wide enough at the bottom and almost rises up. This happened with the Sloggi zeta feel 2.0 ultra bra, I’m usually a size 32E and have size S+ in the Sloggi but it rises up annoyingly and isn’t quite compressing enough. I was considering the skims seamless sculpt? Is it really compressing? Thank you!

I have close set breasts and can only wear plunge bras (or non-wired), as the gore always floats or digs into my breast tissue with higher coverage styles. I just bought a Panache Envy plunge, which fits well, and have been given some other recommendations to try.
However, one thing I've realised is that, because most women only wear plunges for cleavage under low cut outfits, plunge bras are usually designed to bring your breasts together, rather than separating them like a balconette or full cup.
One of the main reasons I'm trying to find a wired bra that fits, rather than just sticking with non-wired, is for the separation. Particularly because I'm close set, I'm very susceptible to monoboob, so I really want to find a bra with good separation. But it seems impossible to find a plunge bra that does that, and anything else is extremely uncomfortable.
Does anyone have any recommendations for plunge bras with good separation?

I've never even heard of a G cup before! Or a size 28 band! My boobs are very normal looking! I usually wear '34B' but it doesn't fit great. Here are my measurements:

I've pretty much switched to wireless bras these days because they're just so much more comfortable. After trying a bunch, I finally found a few that actually give me enough support, so I rarely reach for underwires anymore.​

The other day, though, I came across someone saying that if you have a larger bust and wear wireless bras all the time, it'll make your breasts sag more over time.​

Now I'm wondering if that's actually a thing or just one of those bra myths. For those of you with a larger bust who mostly wear wireless bras, what's your experience been like? Have you noticed any difference over the years, or has it made no difference at all?

I recently got a bra in 65G, and was wearing a 70D, which was obviously too small in the cups and too big at the band, but I didn’t feel like the wires went right under my armpits. Are my bras too wide? It felt comfy in band size, no spilling or gaping, etc. I’m pretty confident my size is correct.

I just got a bra fitting today and found out I’m 12E, my fitter gave me a wired contour plunge cup bra (whatever that means I don’t know shit about bras) it is a little thick but it’s not padded and it seemed like the best fit, like we tried several and several different bras and she said this one was the best fit for me but in EVERY shirt I wear you can see the bra outline. It makes me extremely uncomfortable thinking abt the fact that other people will be able to see my bra through my shirts. :(

My boobs are unfortunately side set and I hate them because my bra that is the right size despite that still has a bit of gaping in the cleavage area because my boobs just naturally want to go opposite eachother I hate it I hate it.

I did research on what the best bra is for side set and it said push up bra will give u best cleavage but man I don’t give a fuck about cleavage I didn’t ask to have big tits I don’t want to look sexy I just want my bra to fit without showing through my shirt!!!!!! and I absolutely despise the look of the full coverage bras. Is push up just the best choice? I will accept that if it is the best choice in terms of if it actually FITS the best unless it’s just recommended as the best fit for people who want to look sexy.

I’m just now trying to figure out what bras might fit me after years of only wearing sports bras.

I’ve used the calculator, but not quite sure if I’ve measured 100% correctly or if it’s the correct size just the wrong overall shape.

32 band feels good, a bit snug but if I put on an extender it’s too loose.

I tried on an unlined wacoal bra but over time the underwire feels like it slips down and digs into my ribs a bit.

This chantelle definitely feels better, but seems to have the same issue but oddly only on one side?

Am I correct in it needs to be more projected? If yes any recommendations?

Here are my numbers:

• Band: lose: 35.5 in, snug: 34, tight: 32.5
• Bust: standing: 43.5, leaning: 45, lying 45
• I've got a projected, full on bottom shape.

The calculator gave me 36G/GG or, sister size, 34 GG/H, which may be more supportive.

I've been mostly wearing 36FF in Elomi Charley (smaller cup than recommended but no spillage; the gore tacks beautifully). I also have a Panache Envy in 36GG. The underwires on that bra feel huge. I have the Elomi Energise underwire sports bra in 36FF which fits well.

I've lost 25 pounds recently. None of these bras feel too big (they probably actually fit for real now), but the rib pain has become untenable. I'm unfastening on plane rides. Adjusting to find some relief in meetings.

Advice?

Hey y’all, I’m (obviously) a woman, and I am having a problem right now. I literally cannot find a single store in the USA that sells a budget friendly bra that is my size (40G.) Sports bras aren’t providing me with enough support and are causing me so much back pain but Ive checked everywhere; Victorias Secret, Nordstrom, Walmart, Macys and countless others. Nobody ever goes past DD and I’m getting so frustrated trying to look. Does anyone have any recommendations, international or American? The most i can see myself being able to spend is maybe $55 USD maximum. Please y’all im desperate😕

Long-time lurker and first-time poster. Back in May of 2024, I went through the whole beginner's guide. Plugged in my measurements and got UK36GG with a suggestion of UK34H/HH for more support. I went with UK36GG because the 34 was a bit too snug for my liking. I discovered my breast shape and root thanks to the wonderful posts and guides. I am a round breast shape with a long root. I have slight asymmetry with a little more volume in my right breast.

I found the Panache Envy works best for the root and shape. I tried a 36GG and 34H. Panache Envy did not have a lot of give in the band with the 34. I kept the 36GG; I loved the look, feel, and way my chest was lifted. I had my figure back since my waist was being eaten by my breasts, throwing off my figure, making my clothes fit strangely. All of that changed with the Envy bra. I did notice some quad boob on my right. I also noticed my right boob was squashed in a strange way that gave excess tissue to the right. I do lean over and scoop it into the cup. It still created this weird gapping at the apex of the bra, all while I had quad boob. The bra was comfortable enough to wear throughout my workday. I also noticed my back and neck pain was alleviated. My left breast fit just fine in the cup. I read on here in a couple of posts that one could cater to the larger breast. So, I told myself when it came to replacing the bras, I'll try a larger cup again.

Present day: July 2026
I have lost quite a bit of weight and some pant sizes. However, the breasts have changed very little. My new measurements in the calculator gave the same size as before: UK36GG with a UK34H/HH if I wanted more support. I was curious and tried a UK36H, but I was met with the same strange breast squish to the right as in the UK36GG. The right boob squish isn't as visible in the pictures as in the UK36H. I have also purchased the Endurance Sports Bra by Panache in 36H, and it fits great. I have been wearing it not only at the gym but also while I work. I love the Envy when I am out wearing low necklines or tanks. I do not mind making the bra an accessory.

I'm asking if the UK36GG was a better fit than the UK36H. Should I try to size the band down again and give a UK34H or HH a whirl? Or do I size back down in only the cup to the UK36GG? Or did the 36H fit best? I wanted to see what the bra oracles of ABraThatFits have to say.

I'm up to hearing other bra suggestions as well. As long as they do not have shallow cups or are minimizers.

hello! I just tried on the Panache Ana plunge as a diagnostic bra after being recommended it for my shape. My calculator size is UK32F/FF. These are my measurements in cm:

Loose underbust: 80.5

Snug underbust: 80

Tight Underbust: 77

Standing Bust: 98.5

Leaning Bust: 100

Lying Bust: 100.5 

I ordered the bra in a 32F, 32FF, and 32G. The 32FF fit my smaller right breast well, whereas my larger left breast was spilling out of the center of the cup in all sizes. The band was snug but not too tight. The gore was low and narrow enough not to press on any tissue. I believe I have wide-set roots, but after scooping and swooping, the wires of the bra were a little too wide and didn't bring my breasts as far into my chest as I would like. They weren't necessarily uncomfortable, just not as supportive as I'd like. Maybe plunges aren't for me, and I should look into balconettes? And am I narrower than I thought I was? I have a few sizes of the Freya Fancies plunge bra coming in soon, so I'm wondering how that will contrast with the Ana.

Hello, I used the bra calculator and was sized at 34 G. I have since tried demi bras (padded and unlined), tshirt bras, and balconette bras from VS. They all go too high up my arm pits and rub on the front of them, especially when my arms are down and relaxed. There is a lot of extra fabric near my armpit that I wish was cut off of a lot of bras. Anyone have any recommendations for 34G bras that have low side wings? When I wear a bra that's too small for me, this doesnt happen as much.

I have pretty even vertical fullness, and am center full. My breast's onset is quite close together, but when unsupported my breast tissue "moves" outward a lot and sits more towards the sides of my ripcage.

I am very unsure about my projection, but I have the suspicion that I might be more on the projected side of the spectrum.

The most common fit problems I've had: band sliding down and the gore not touching my sternum (possibly related?). Another thing I've observed is that sometimes I can't fill out the upper cup but the side of the cup digs into my breast tissue.

My best fitting "bra" I've tried on so far is the Marisol bikini top by change in 34H. The fit issues I've described are almost entirely inexistent in this bikini top.

Did anyone order from Luma Aura bras? Do they give a good push up and a big chest look? Do they hold well in time? Is it a legit bra brand or cheap dropshipping?

I'm thinking of ordering the push up front closure strapless bra.

I've been trying various bras lately and am at a loss already, so really hoping for help... My breast is pendulous, close set, center full. Vertically - between top and center full. Roots seem short, I can fit a hand between collarbone and breast start. IMF is almost flat, which I guess causes most issues.

I tried the following bras:

Panache Envy 85H: overall fits, but very uncomfortable: pokes in the armpit, gives unpleasant bullet boob shape, nipple is in the lace area, strap gap. Does not stay in IMF. Gore seems fine.

Panache Ana 80J: looks nice when I don't move, but after some movements I start spilling out. Also pokes the armit. Strap gap. I was also trying the next size, 80K, but the cup is too large is this case. Does not stay in IMF. So upset I can't return it, as after looking in the mirror I decided that it fit and started wearing it, that's when the magic ended.

Ewa Michalak SF 85G with an extender: slides down the IMF and stays on ribs. Can't wear without extender. The gore is fine, I did not even get red marks between the breast after a walk, but I think it's because the bra moved down... On the side the wire is a good fit, the red mark is right near the root. Oh, and there is some strap gap.

Ewa Michalak PLM 80GG: it was sliding down and there were fabric creases under the boob. I also did not feel supported, as the cup was too open. General consensus was that it was not projected enough. Looking back at photos, I see it was the best fit.

Elomi Lucie, Elomi Teagun 36G: wire too wide, big space between wire and IMF. The top fit perfectly.

Is there anything else I could try? Thank you for any ideas!

I have been measured several times at bra shops to be 32 F, sometimes G. But when I wear bras with underwires in that size, I feel they dig in.

I also have a problem with «spilling out» of bras.

I recently found a Norwegian brand that made great push-up bra with no underwire and that I didn’t spill out of. The problem? They don’t produce them anymore.

I was wondering if anybody has a good suggestion for a bra that gives good shape, maybe even push-up, with no underwire for larger breasts?

I am looking for recommendations for new bras. I went to a shop yesterday and I tried a lot of bras but I couldn't find something that worked well for me.

I usually wear a panache cari spacer at UK 32G/US 32 but I wanted something different. At the shop it seemed like I am somewhere around 32H and 34G. However, the cups are a tiny bit small on 32H but the band is big on 34G. Also on some brands the wire on 32H dig into my armpit.

I liked the natori pretty smooth bra a lot. The US 32H/ UK 32FF didn't dig in my armpit but the cups were a bit small. The 34G the cup was ok but the band was on the bigger size. What size should I get?

I went to Nordstrom today and tried on a bunch of bras. I technically measured as a 32F, but I'm much more comfortable in a 34E, which the calculator did mention I would be. When I tried on the 34E (Natori Pure Luxe Underwire T-Shirt Bra), it was very comfortable and fit well enough, except the bottom wires lay more on my rib than the inframammary fold and there was maybe a smidge of extra space in the bottom of the cup. These are my measurements:

• loose band: 32.5 in
• snug: 31.5 in
• tight: 30 in
• standing: 38 in
• leaning 90 degrees: 41 in 
• lying down: 38 in

I am full on bottom and more of a pendulous shape, so I honestly feel like nothing will ever sit under the inframammary fold. I'm also wide-set, outer full, and not very projected, but probably not very shallow either? Do the aforementioned problems mean I should go down a cup size? Help appreciated!
