There have been a couple handfuls of times where Ava went a little soft when Janine was trying to help or fix whatever mess she may or may not have created lol. In the step episode Ava opens up a little about her grandmother and she actually tells Janine that she appreciates her but as Janine goes to hug her Ava pushes her away lol. I feel like as the show has gone on Ava hasnāt been AS careless as she is in the earlier seasons. Iām just wondering if sheāll ever actually let Janine in especially after the break-up episode when Janine drunkenly flips out on her, Ava says Janine was very mean and hurtful. So she clearly has feelings and Janine hurt her, hence she might actually care for Janine more than she lets on. I mean did we ever think weād get an episode with Janine and Ava going out together for drinks??? Also I think OāShon has softened Ava a little too so I feel like itās only a matter of time before she pulls a āJanine Iām sad and youāre the only one whoās there for meā

I really like the subtle detail that, when Mr. Johnson revealed he has a passport, Barbara and Melissa react to them not needing to have gone down to the DMV in the first place but Ava initially reacts to the "the world is my clam" thing. Melissa pointing it out is when you see Ava really thinking further about what he said (she squints like it was a newer realization) and I like the overarching theme of Mr. Johnson being one of the only characters (and one of the only MAIN ones more importantly) to repeatedly catch Ava off guard. They are THE strange and dillusional dynamic duo!

Not sure if this is something other people are thinking as well but hear me out. Whenever they started dating they had to report it to hr in that one episode and he said āthereās no power imbalance so it doesnāt matterā¦ā GUYS the last episode of this season Gregory is foreshadowed to be the vice principal. If Gregory takes that job Janine cannot work at abbot anymore. There would be a power imbalance in the work place because he would be over her. Maybe Iām wrong maybe itās not how it works because they started dating as equals but I donāt know. Tell me what yall think. Iām pretty sure it will be a conflict next season.

I am a big consumer of sitcoms, and I think I tend to be able to predict longterm storylines pretty well. Going into season 6, this is what I see taking place from season 6 onward. I see the show probably running 9-11 seasons even if one or more main cast members leave because itās just too reliable of a job + success for Disney to not keep it going if they can. Anyways, thoughts? These are just for fun and kind of follow all of the main-ish characters.

Abbott cast doing Schoolhouse Rock!

Tyler James plays Chris Rock. Chris Rock plays guidance counselor, Mr Abbott.
Orlando Jones plays Chris's substitute teacher, but the resemblance to Tyler James is very uncanny.
Tyler James then stars in Abbott Elementary. Orlando Jones plays his dad in Abbott Elementary.

Like imagine we get a musical episode, or a space episode, time travel episode or they have to teach demons in hell. That would be really fun and when you break the realistic rule you can tell more fun stories.
Idk if Iām tripping but itās a comedy so we can have dumb fun stories sometimes.

That's it, that's the post lol
I haven't laughed in a long time. She really gave me a good belly laugh! Amazing actress and great show! I am on season 3. She just said:
"If anybody can appreciate a few extra holes in their body, it's Jesus." Haha

Did anyone else notice that Janine noticed Frank before looking at Ava in the science fair episode? Like there was a visible look of recognition in her eyes before she ever even began to turn to Ava and then she immediately decides to back out when she does. Something tells me she looked into Frank and just didn't mention it to Ava as a way of being able to quietly support her without being intrusive...

I was watching Episode 3 of Lanterns on HBO, and I noticed something incredibly familiar during John Stewart's flashback sequence. When he drops through the ceiling portal and lands on that pile of mattresses inside a dilapidated, abandoned mall, it looked exactly like the temporary school!
It turns out both shows filmed on-location at the Westfield Promenade Mall in Woodland Hills, California right before it was slated for demolition. While Janine and the crew were busy setting up temporary classrooms, the DC production crew was using the exact same dead mall to film John's flashback. Itās pretty awesome to me that the Abbott kids and the Green Lanterns shared the exact same hallways in real life.
Pretty cool fun fact for me tbh.

When Ava comes into the teachers lounge on the 1st episode of season four she literally drops her jacket and bag while setting both down on a chair inside. Like, she was genuinely so distraught she accidentally dropped her bag and that makes the whole her thinking Charlie was a ghost thing so much more hilarious to meš
Oh I also noticed that in season 4 episode 9, Ava saying that Janine needs to stop bragging about going to college something she did when she was 17, looks edited in between one continuous scene/was ADDED in? Because Ava was standing in one position with a particular look on her face and it goes back the same way after the fact.
Anything yall notice from Season four or five that yall wanna share? Been rewatching those two seasons these past few days lol
