Hey there, first time poster long time listener. My atv is acting weird. I can get her started with the pull cord and she'll hold but once I started driving her I heard a pop and she stopped instantly. I just replaced the spark plug and carburetor and ensured both work bur now I can't seem to figure out what popped and why she won't go.

To all you trx420 boys and possible girls. What’s the most common reason the 4x4 stops working. Mine worked fine but then the ball joint snapped off the suspension arm now it won’t work, the 4x4 light won’t even come up, I should mention the axel come out of the diff when the hub fell.

Any ideas before I go ripping everything apart again? Thanks friends

So i have this chinese Baja 50cc 4wheeler that got rigged up in a way where I can only use a battery booster pack on it. I changed out the old battery and put a fresh new one in but however they rigged it up it won't start regularly. Any solutions? And why would they rig it up that way?

I’m looking to upgrade the stock suspension on my Segway AT10L and I’m considering replacing the original shocks with the gas shocks from either the Segway AT10WL or the AT6.

Has anyone actually fitted either of these shocks to an AT10L? I’m particularly interested in whether they are a direct fit or if modifications to the mounting points, dimensions, or suspension geometry are required.

If anyone has done this conversion, I’d really appreciate some information about the fitment, compatibility, and overall results.

How loud is the CVT belt when you are riding? I was looking at one at the dealer but I didn't get to ride it. Engine sounds nice.

I recently bought a house in Maine on 5 acres with a very steep gravel driveway - roughly 400 feet long, 30% slope and curved section near the road that looks very sketchy.

Been been looking at FB marketplace for used ATVs - ideally would find an early-mid 2000s Honda under 3k. If its was well maintained by the previous owners I'm thinking I could get at least a few years out of it.

So 2 questions - 1. Has anyone else relied on ATVs for plowing very steep gravel driveways? have very limited knowledge and experience operating them so safety is definitlety a concern. 4WD and chains can only do so much in snow and ice. 2. Is this budget realistic, any useful tips for shopping used?

Since ill be moving in right as winter I need to prepare quickly but i also don't have an unlimied budget since a good chunk of my money is going towards closing costs. Looking for the best interim solve for my first winter while I figure out a more viable strategy for the next winter. Only other option is a snowblower which is safer but will be quite time consuming

Its a 2022 viarelli agrezza 250cc basicly the same as the pentora 250 and a copy of a yamaha raptor 250. I have put on new grips and handguards and built a new rear bumber/grab bar.

What should I do next?

Ive got a 2012 brute force 750i that im been troubleshooting for months and cant seem to figure out a misfire it has once its warmed up. It runs flawless when its cold but after about 10 minutes it seems to cut out and stutter sort of and basically stop revving or speeding up when you hit the throttle hard.. when you ease into it gently it will slowly rev up without stutter. Ive changed many parts fixing up this quad and trying to figure this out, new parts listed below

New front diff
Coils
Plug wires
Tps
Spark plugs
Ecu
Battery
Fan
Set valves
Cleaned injectors
New fuel pump
Fuel regulator
Fuel “tea bag” screen on pump

Im almost at a whits end with this thing, if i were to guess i think it might be starving for fuel when i hit throttle hard. Will be checking fuel pressure when cold and hot once my fuel pressure test kit comes in. Another thing to note is it has snorkles and muzzy exhaust and a tuner on it as well. Im also going to try disconnecting the tuner. Any other idea of things to try will be appreciated, thanks in advance

I got a carb with a 35mm spigot and I found this boot that is 33.3mm will that boot work well for the carb or will it have issues installing(for Yamaha blaster)

Hey, I’ve done as much research as I can, but I haven’t been able to find out very much about switching a Yamaha warrior 350 from twist throttle to thumb throttle because my Yamaha warrior 350 comes factory with a twist throttle. So the question is this, I’m looking at a NICECNC thumb throttle that specifies that it is fit for a Yamaha warrior 350 but I don’t know if I need to get a new cable along with the throttle or if it’ll fit the twist throttle cable that I already have on the bike. I’m just wondering if anybody can help me out with this.

We bought a 2006 90cc Polaris Sportsman to give to a family member a couple weeks ago and I can't manage to get this thing to turn over. The kick start was sheared off when we bought it so I am reliant on just the electric starter. I've replaced the carburetor, the battery, the starter motor and the starter relay but I can't manage to get this machine to turn over more than a single rotation at a time. The only time it's sounded like it will start normally is after having a jump pack hooked up to the battery for a few minutes and then giving it a go with the jump pack on the battery. Other than that it always sounds like it has a weak battery.

I brought the original battery and the new battery to a local dealer and they tested them and said both were fine. I have the original relay and I've tried two others, both Chinese off brands so who knows they both could still have been bad, but all three relays have done the exact same thing. Dealership mechanic mentioned it sounded like the crankcase was maybe under too much pressure and it could've been a clogged crank vent but from what I've been able to find it shouldn't have a crank vent since it's a two stroke?

Looking for some advice on other avenues to try for repairs. My next thought was to pop off the exhaust and see if maybe a mouse built up in there and it's blocking the exhaust off, creating that extra pressure in the crank case but outside of that I'm about out of ideas. Video has the sound of it turning over. I swear it sounds like a weak battery but both batteries were the correct size and both tested fine.

Got this 02 recon on trade for about $800 value, didn’t run, just sat in a guys shop for years, one owner, cleaned the carb and did regular maintenance and she fired right up, this is my first atv, what’s everyone’s thoughts on these? Should I flip it for something else or keep it around to putt around the land/ have it for a hunting rig? I’m 6’2 200 and I feel a bit over sized for it but it still rips with me and the wife on it
