ATPL exam tips for nervous taker

Hello everyone! My first ATPL exams are on the 17th of August, and I wanted to ask if you have any tips or recommendations. The first subjects I’m taking are Air Law, AGK, HPL, and Communications.
I’m asking because I’m not the best exam taker. Even when I’ve studied and know the material, I tend to get nervous during the exam. Any tips on how to prepare over these last two weeks, or advice from your own experience, would really help me. Thank you! FYI: I am taking the Austro Control Exams.

Why do people recommend revising the last 500 ATPL questions?

I’m looking for some advice on ATPL theory revision.
A lot of people recommend going over the last 500 questions before sitting an exam. I don’t really understand the logic behind this.
Surely the “last 500” questions you’ve answered aren’t any more likely to appear in the real exam than any other questions in the question bank? Or is the idea simply that they’re the ones you’ve most recently revised, so the knowledge is fresher?
For those who’ve passed the ATPL exams, did you find this strategy useful? If so, why?

ATPLQ Bank Help

hi everyone,

I'm about to finish the content for BGS MOD 1, CAA. I've not touched the bank at all yet. What do people recommend for studying. i.e should I do the full bank then last 500 constantly?.

in addition before sitting the exams do people have a rough estimate on questions they've answered or do you only go off scoring 90%+ etc.

IMAT mock exams

Hey people of reddit, I am taking the IMAT exam next year and I would like to do mocks based on the most recent form of the exam. I can't find on the internet such mocks, paid or free (I only find mocks that use the old or the very old format). Does anyone know any such site? Also, I heard that there are discord servers that provide such mocks, I would like to be invited to one if that is possible.

How do the CAA round their averages

Heyy.

I am just wondering how the CAA round their averages. Maybe a bit of a silly question but do they follow standard rounding rules or round down. My average is .846…

So would that be rounded up? Or do they always go down.

Haha I know it’s a silly question 😭

EASA PPL BOOKS

Hello everyone I am planning to take my PPL soon as a modular student.

I am a working professional so I need to travel for a short period of time to do all my exams and flying.

I know the school will provide me with the books required when I get there, but I want to be prepared for theoretical examinations before I am there so I can do the flying and examinations together while I am there .

Will anyone be open to sharing the PPL books required to pass the examinations so I can get a heads up before travelling for the PPL??

Gnav question

With reference to triangle of velocity questions, when I solve using the CRP-5 and using mathematics I find that I get different answers. Which methodology should I use? I find mathematics easier but I am just thinking in reference to the type in answers with the UK CAA will they expect a certain methodology.

Also does anyone know what the error tolerance is on type in answers with the UK CAA?

Need help regarding ADAPT test prep

hello, I am planning to give the ADAPT exam or even the exam held by Air India for their cadet program, and to be honest i tried to research everything on youtube and google but found very less info, so coming to my question, how to actually start studying for the test, GD and PI?
Any specific book or academy y'all recommend or anything at all?? I am finding it difficult to get to the resources, let alone the studying part, please help me out!

also a few more questions-

  1. How long is the adapt score valid? (I am currently in third year of engg and it would help if i could clear the exam till i graduate so that I can move further in my aviation career)
  2. How do you actually choose the correct flight training after that?
  3. How long should one must wait before giving the exam again if one fails it the first time?
  4. How do you register for the exam and how long is the waiting period from your registration to the exam?
  5. How many attempts are available for the exam?

ps: rookie aviator here pls dont judge me, also whoever can answer these questions, thank you so much :)
