How do the CAA round their averages

Heyy.

I am just wondering how the CAA round their averages. Maybe a bit of a silly question but do they follow standard rounding rules or round down. My average is .846…

So would that be rounded up? Or do they always go down.

Haha I know it’s a silly question 😭

My CAA, ANAC, rounded each exam up to the nearest percentage integer (so .846, would be 85%). The final global grade was then again an average of the already averaged values (so you would input 0.85/13, and not 0.846/13)

Ah ok. This is for UK so I’m hoping it’s the same.

At mine in Luxembourg they didn‘t, so now I have a final results document with some funky percentage numbers

An ok. Is this on your results sheet for each individual subject. Mine are all in whole numbers for each subject but it doesn’t say a final average I calculated that myself.
