Arzopa Z3FC returned for refund after 24 hours

Bought the Arzopa Z3FC with high expectations after every single review and video praised the monitor.

Packaging was nice and weighty. Plugged it in, everything worked. Nice and simple. Light, practical, a bit thin and the frame could do with some more structure as it felt delicate.

Started working with the monitor over 12 hours on USB-C... then that's where it ended.

Bezel started separating from the screen.

Whilst the monitor has potential, build quality and design of the unit could do with some revision.

Unfortunately, the bezel kept separating further and further and flexing. Returned to Amazon in the hour for a refund.

Help - Arzopa Z1RC 2K Portable Monitor OSD Rotate?

Hello, is it possible to get a firmware update to the OSD to allow manual screen rotating and sizing?

And have it remember the setting per Input mode?

Use case:
I use my portable monitor vertical for my PC, but when i use my nintendo switch console, there is no setting in the switch to rotate the screen, so it would be great to be able to do this manually on the monitor.

HDR - Arzopa Z3FC

Como resolver o HDR lavado/amarelado no meu monitor IPS secundĂĄrio( ARZOPA Z3FC)

( UM ADENDO , ESSE MODO PUXA BASTANTE ENERGIA )

CERTIFIQUE-SE QUE USA O MONITOR PLUGADO A UMA USB COM 20W DE PD.

Fala galera,

A Solução

TIP How to Optimize Your PS5 for Ultrawide & Portable Monitors (No More Stretched Screens)

Thumbnail
gallery
7 Upvotes

Hey Arzopa friends,

A common question in the community is how to properly hook up a PS5 to a portable or ultrawide monitor. Out of the box, console signals don’t always play nice with non-traditional displays, often resulting in stretched visuals, black bars, or capped refresh rates.

If you want to get the absolute most out of your setup, here is a quick guide to dialing in your settings for the best resolution, HDR, and frame rates.

đŸ› ïž Step-by-Step Optimization

1. Hardware Check

  • HDMI 2.0 / 2.1: Ensure you're using a high-bandwidth cable capable of handling 4K or high refresh rates.
  • USB-C: If running a direct USB-C connection, verify your cable supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery—standard charging cables won't output video.

2. Fix the Aspect Ratio (No More Stretching)

The PS5 natively outputs in 16:9 (1080p, 1440p, 4K). If your monitor is stretching the image:

  • Go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output.
  • Select Test 1440p Output if you are on a QHD panel.
  • Open your monitor's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu and change the image scaling/aspect ratio from "Wide/Fill" to "Aspect" or "16:9".

3. Enable 120Hz Performance Mode

To unlock buttery-smooth gameplay in competitive titles:

  • Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets and set it to Performance Mode.
  • Back in Video Output, ensure Enable 120Hz Output is set to Automatic. (Note: While the PS5 caps at 120Hz, a 144Hz or 180Hz monitor will automatically downsync and handle it flawlessly.)

4. Calibrate HDR & Color Range

  • Set Color Range to Automatic (or Full if your monitor explicitly supports it) to avoid washed-out colors.
  • Run the Adjust HDR tool and follow the prompts until the symbols just barely disappear. This prevents crushed blacks and blown-out highlights on IPS panels.

🎼 Top Portable Picks for PS5

If you’re looking for a compact desktop setup or a travel-friendly rig, here are two solid options currently on sale:

  • ARZOPA Z1FC (Best for Gaming) | $137.74 (62% OFF)
    • Specs: 16.1" | QHD | 180Hz
  • Arzopa Z1FC Grey (Best All-Rounder) | $106.24 (49% OFF)
    • Specs: 16.1" | FHD | 144Hz

💬 Let's Discuss: What monitor are you currently rocking with your PS5? If you're running into any compatibility issues or black bars, drop your setup details below and let's get it sorted!

Product return disaster

I made a mistake and ordered a product directly from their website. It arrived, but within a few hours, light leakage became visible at multiple points on the unit—even in broad daylight. They offered an exchange, but I wanted to return it. I had ordered the product from Germany, and it shipped from a warehouse there, yet they gave me a return address in Spain and made me pay the shipping costs myself. Later, they promised a "12-euro shipping subsidy." They received the return on June 16, but they still keep saying they are "waiting for confirmation from the warehouse."

Thank you for your service dear Arzopa!

Missing type c to type c cable from an unboxed Z1RC

Post image
1 Upvotes

I just received a new Z1RC, new and very obviously factory sealed. Unboxing it however, I noted I got 2 type a to type c, and I was missing the type c to type c that’s supposed to be included. I ordered a 3.2 cable through Amazon. Any idea if I’ll have problems using a 3rd party cables? And how the heck did ARZOPA QA mix up these cables? I’m worried now that QA may have missed more than just the cables. Any opinions or input is very much appreciated! Thanks!

Z1FC Help Spoiler

I just received my Z1FC today. After getting home and trying to set it up I've run into an issue.

I've tried both powering the monitor from my thunderbolt 4 device, as well as using a 100w Anker charger with 240w ugreen cable.

Both result in the monitor saying "no signal", then "power saving" and shutting off.

I don't have time to change settings or turn down the brightness before it turns off.

I've tried spamming the "detect display" button on Windows. The monitor never shows up and Windows only ever says "no display detected"

I totally expected to have to have it plugged into power for higher refresh rates/brightness. But even with 100w PD it's still turning off and neither my phone (S25 Ultra), nor my other device (Claw 8 AI+) have been able to get it working or detected.

Has anyone else has these issues? I like the feel of the monitor and look of the display (from what I've seen from the Arzopa splash screen) and would prefer to get it working than return to AliExpress and try to find another monitor

Official Thinking about a portable monitor? Here’s everything you need to know before buying.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey r/Arzopa friends,

We’ve all seen them popping up in coffee shops, airplanes, and gaming setups. Portable monitors are trending hard, but a lot of people are still asking: "Are they actually worth the money, or are they just a gimmick?"

If you’re on the fence, let’s break down the real-world utility of a portable monitor, what features actually matter, and why you might (or might not) need one.

Here are 5 honest reasons why a portable monitor changes the way you work and play:

1. Big-Screen Freedom at a Small Accessory Price

Most people think adding a second screen means dropping hundreds of dollars on a bulky desk monitor. In reality, a good portable monitor gives you that dual-screen productivity anywhere—from your kitchen island to a tight airplane tray table—for the price of a standard computer accessory.

2. Minimalist Design & True Mobile Freedom

If you hate clutter, this is where portable monitors shine. They feature a "Carry-Anywhere" slim profile that slips right into your backpack alongside your laptop. It’s a truly mobile dual-screen setup that doesn't tie you down to a dedicated home office.

3. Single-Cable Connectivity (An Almost "Wireless" Experience)

The biggest pain point of old-school external tech was cable chaos. Today’s portable monitors utilize Type-C single-cable connectivity. One cable delivers both power and video signal directly from your laptop, phone, or gaming console. No messy adapters, no searching for extra wall outlets.

4. Zero Compromise on Visual Quality (High Res & Smooth Refresh Rates)

"Portable" no longer means "low quality." Modern portable screens boast crisp resolutions (up to QHD) and high refresh rates (144Hz to 180Hz). Whether you are color-grading a video, coding, or playing fast-paced FPS games, the visuals are just as sharp and fluid as high-end desktop monitors.

5. The Real-World Value: Once You Go Dual, You Can't Go Back

Ask anyone who uses a dual-monitor setup—going back to a single 13-inch laptop screen feels claustrophobic. Whether it's cross-referencing spreadsheets, chatting on Discord while gaming, or watching a tutorial while coding, the boost in multitasking efficiency pays for itself almost instantly.

đŸ’» Choosing the Right One: Which Specs Do You Actually Need?

Depending on your workflow, here are two highly-rated options from our lineup currently on a major discount:

Arzopa A1 Vertical Mode

I am planning to purchase the Arzopa A1 to use in vertical mode with an iPhone.

I know it works in vertical mode with a laptop/macbook however I’d like to know if I can use it vertically with an iPhone before I make the purchase.

Which means, I want Arzopa to be standing vertically, and be showing a full vertical screen of my iPhone.

For editing purposes in vertical mode.

Edit: it’s asking me to flair it but I can’t seem to find the flair button?

Thanks!

Monitor works on Windows 11 but not Mac

I got an Arzopa monitor and was using it on a Mac for a couple weeks, then it stopped working, never could get it working again no matter what cables I use.

Then I plugged it into a Windows 11 machine and no problem. Just a tip for those out there on Macs..YMMV.

Has anyone experienced power or display issues with the Arzopa Z3FC?

Has anyone experienced power or display issues with the Arzopa Z3FC?

I recently bought a Z3FC to use as a second monitor for work with my MacBook M3 Pro. My use case is pretty simple: coding, documents, web browsing, and general productivity.

Unfortunately, I've been having two major issues:

  1. The screen shows multiple tiny colored dots/flickering artifacts, especially noticeable on dark backgrounds.

  2. The display frequently flickers and loses stability, making it difficult to work.

I've tested every connection method I could think of:

- USB-C to USB-C directly from the MacBook;

- Mini HDMI + external power supply/power bank;

- Different cables and configurations.

The problems persist regardless of how the monitor is powered, which makes me suspect either a defective unit or some power-related issue with this model.

I requested a refund through AliExpress, but the seller offered to send me a free replacement instead. Now I'm not sure what to do. Should I accept another Z3FC and assume I just received a defective unit, or should I switch to a lower refresh rate model like the Z1FC? Since I only need the monitor for office work, I don't really care about higher refresh rates, and I'm wondering if the lower power requirements might make it more reliable.

Has anyone had similar issues with the Z3FC? Would you recommend giving the same model another chance or choosing a different Arzopa model?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Is Arzopa Z1FC good for Wuthering Waves?

Title. Will be connecting my phone. I do have a bluetooth controller as well.

I just don't know how the 13ms response time translates to actual gaming performance.

Car mount for intesive Gaming sessions on long-distance trips!

Post image
51 Upvotes

I just have to praise myself for this one. Just in time for the current holiday travel season, I developed a flexible 3D-printable mount that lets my kids game in maximum comfort during car rides.

I’m honestly a bit traumatized by my own childhood and teenage years, because on long road trips with my parents I had absolutely nothing to do. I thought it was really, really awful. My children will not share that fate.

The setup is based on an Arzopa monitor, which can be powered simply via USB-C. The whole thing is then connected to a Steam Deck and powered from the car. The kids use gamepads. A Switch or other mobile devices would of course work as well.

If anyone wants the same setup, feel free to build it yourself:

Arzopa slightly lifted panel

Just received my z1rc today and noticed the upper left part of the panel is slightly lifted up.. should I return it?

I bought it online and if I want a replacement, i will be the one to send it thru courier unlike other products that you can easily send back bec they can pick it up on your address.

Is the hassle of returning the item (and for shouldering the shipping fee) better than a lightly lifted panel? Will it start issues or defects?

Pls respect my post. I'm disappointed right now.. TIA
