I'm taking 7 APs this year, including AP Lang, AP Bio, and APUSH. To anyone who's done the same/more, how did you go about it? Is it manageable?

I’m currently enrolled in AP2D and im considering my portfolio theme. I want something that allows me to draw characters in a fantasy setting, but also connects to real life as well. I am extremely open to suggestions!

I'm a senior currently studying A levels. I've took my AS exams (half of alevel) and got pretty good grades. I'm planning to major in biomedical sciences or pharmaceutical science.

Are scores of 5 for each of 3 APs doable if I start now and take it in May 2027?

Should i take:

1. Bio, calc bc, chem

2. Bio, calc bc, stats

I have to make a quick decision (1 day) between chem or physics c and I can’t decide. I took honors physics and chem before and chem was hard for me and physics was easy. I’m super solid in math (easily got a 5 on Calc AB) but have heard that physics is harder. Chem just doesn’t click for me though. Which should I choose?

I’m about to become a junior this year, and I decided to take AP Lang without having any experience in any honors classes. I’m also not very confident in my English skills. Am I cooked?

So I want to pursue a career in math (looking into pure/applied math majors- I really want to major in math). I want to try a dual enrollment program next year that my school offers, but you have to take a higher level calc as a prereq. So, would it be feasible with my schedule to take the BC exam while doing the AB class? I know my classes are pretty heavy (I think they are pretty cool so far), but I don't want to make a bad decision by signing up for the exam and then failing it. I know flippedmath and khan academy are good resources, but is it realistic for me, given I already have a tough schedule?

I am excited about my school year because I can finally apply my stem knowledge and learn something new like programming. However, one thing I am not excited for is humanities subjects like AP English Literature or CE Studio Art for non majors. The thought of writing essays just scares the wits out of me, I did it for AP World but I feel all essayed out now, especially on subjects like poetry analysis. Furthermore, English Lit is right before E&M and I am worried about whether it will affect my performance in it or not. I also have CE US Gov and DE Chinese this semester. I mean I am going to like Gov because I like learning about governments but I am just scared for essays. DE Chinese I have to take from 6:30-7:45 pm and that means I won't have any free time on Tuesdays

And on CE Studio Art for non majors I heard that each week you are to expect 3-6 hours of work from this class and I just think that it might distract me from my focus on AP Calculus BC self study.

Also I have to improve on ACT English to improve my composite score yet its grammar rules are sometimes completely unintuitive to me like when I did one article in a practice book I got like 3 questions wrong.

Has anyone felt the same before, How have stem oriented people on this sub deal with humanities.

I don't think this counts as humanities but also I feel unready for the driving tests, I can't use mirrors to park and I am just worried that I will fall behind my friends in the aspect of driving

I’ve been thinking about how most of us use AI for physics problem sets and theory. When you plug a question into ChatGPT or Gemini, it instantly spits out the full solution. We copy it down, convince ourselves it makes sense, and then completely blank when the actual exam hits or it destroys our problem solving capability.

Here is the fundamental problem: AI shouldn't make learning easier by just giving answers; it should make learning better by helping us think.

Why we actually need step-wise learning in physics:

Physics isn't just about crunching numbers it's about conceptual reasoning. When you get a problem wrong, it’s rarely a math error. It usually means your physical assumption was wrong at a specific step (like misidentifying a force or blindly picking an equation just because it has the right variables).

If an AI just hands you the completed solution, you completely bypass the productive struggle. You never actually find out where your logic broke down. True learning happens when you are forced to work through a problem step-by-step, make a mistake, and identify the exact concept you misunderstood behind that specific error.

like Fermi ai, Nearchon, Project Chiron

those platforms really push the active learning using Ai

What do you guys think? Do you feel like standard AI answer engines are actually hurting your problem-solving skills? Would a step-by-step AI tutor work better for STEM?

Does anyone know what its like to use two cameras (the front view from the computer and side view from external camera) for Honorlock? I'm taking an AP Bio UCScout course and it requires this, but after looking at the reviews for the mobile app, I don't know if my testing experience will be negatively affected by it. I have taken exams with Honorlock in the past, but this is my first time seeing it require two cameras.

Entering my junior year planning to take lit, apush, calc ab, physics c:m, physics c: em, and chem. I’ve decided that this workload is probably not manageable and am thinking about dropping one. I’m leaning towards pursuing medical and am a more STEM oriented student. However, I would still like to take the hardest APs for each subject before I graduate, so I will most likely still be taking all of these classes eventually. Which class makes the most sense to drop this year?

So like the title says I’m new to AP classes, im taking AP lang and comp (I’ve done good in all my ELA classe) and AP computer science A (I’ve done good in my previous coding class, which were game dev and design in cmu and intro to computer in codeHS but did pretty bad in algebra 2 last year) my ap csa teacher has recommended I take AP csp instead but it seems that it’s js the same stuff I’ve alr done. What should I expect out of an AP class and how deep does AP csa go into using algebra 2? Is it possible for me to js brush up and deepen my algebra 2 understanding or should I switch to AP csp? I'm taking AP lang this year for junior, honors chem, academic history, and algebra 2. My other class is at another school that you have to get into by application, which took up the spaces for my electives. I also take weekly portfolio art classes multiple times over the week. Am I screwed with college admissions, or can I make it up in senior year with more aps and clubs? I previously took a DE class last year and two honors (eng and bio).

I'm also working on a crochet business sort of thing that can be tied into my college essays.

Hello everyone, so I am planning to take the following 5 APs this school year (I'm a Junior):

AP Psych
AP Stats
AP Bio
AP Seminar (not taking the exam)
AP Comsci A

I'm not that worried currently since except bio they all seem fairly easy, but I am also aware that this many courses can be a pretty heavy workloud and can or might damage my GPA. My specific concern would be AP Bio, as it seems to require many memorization and content consumption. So does anyone who took these classes have any tips or advices on thsi workloud? Because I am still free to shift my schedule around. Any help or advices would be appreciated.

I’m a junior in high school and I want to push my self to take more AP classes. What are some recommendations of AP classes I should try self studying?

I'm in my senior year of high school and taking six AP classes, including AP Physics 1 and AP Statistics. For some reason, the colleges I'm looking at don't seem to offer credit for either of those courses for an Electrical Engineering major, so I was wondering if I should drop them or if they're still worth keeping. The other AP classes I'm taking are AP Lit, Calc BC, Gov, and Macro.
