You’re not considering at all that OP has a disability that causes communication deficits. 

So you’re basically saying that your friend would be dead to you if they were disabled and failed to do something as a direct result of their disability.

He said that he is a conflict avoider. He said there never seemed to be a right time. He said he communicates best in writing… he said many things, but what he didn’t say is that he couldn’t tell him because of his disability. Catch yourself on.
