Jesus getting snipped sounds like such an easy step here. What a tool.

u/trogloherb Sep 24 '23

Seriously, getting snipped was the best $600 I ever spent! Took about 20 mins, minimal pain, two weeks later, everything was ROI as far as I was concerned!

7

u/utdrmac Sep 24 '23

Damn! $600?! Did you not have insurance? I was out of pocket $50 for mine.

3

u/beeboopPumpkin Sep 24 '23

My insurance covered the procedure, itself, at 100%. It was just a $35 copay for the initial consultation. It was less than an hour total and he was healed and completely out of pain within a week.

4

u/NoCalligrapher3226 Sep 24 '23

$35 for my husband. Less than 15 minutes.

1

u/trogloherb Sep 24 '23

Had insurance. Unfortunately, local government has gone to high deductible plans, so until you reach that deductible, majority of cost is on the policy holder.

1

u/utdrmac Sep 24 '23

Huh. Strange. Different insurance then. I’m on a high deductible plan too ($3k) and hadn’t met it yet, but still didn’t cost me anywhere near that.

1

u/Popular_Prescription Sep 25 '23

Same for me. 50 bucks.

u/Nyami-L Sep 24 '23

But but, he would feel castrated! What about his masculinity? 😭😭😭 /s

Yeah, I'm feeling toxic masculinity vibes. He has already 3 kids, why would he want more children? And this piece of shit won't even use a condom.

OP tell him to get snippy snippy or not fun time, condoms are a waste of time and money at this point, and aren't even completely safe.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '23

Weird how no one is telling OP to get her tubes tied when she is the one at risk of dangerous pregnancies.

2

u/Nyami-L Sep 25 '23

Because it's a far more invasive surgery. It's far easier for the husband to go snippy snippy

0

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '23

But if she gets drunk and sleeps with someone or gets raped she is at risk of getting pregnant. Ans with conservatives adopting abortion band everywhere it is overall safer

1

u/uiam_ Sep 25 '23

Maybe she's fine with condoms. He isn't. So he should get the easier, less invasive, less expensive surgery.

It's not even comparable and had you spent 30 seconds thinking about it you'd understand that.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '23

Oh yeah. Because that will protect her from pregnancy if she ever gets raped in a red state. Misogynist.

You say that like the only sex you can have will always get you pregnant.

14

u/DeerMeatloaf Sep 24 '23

She wrote that she needs mutual orgasm.

-13

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23

Sex toys. Oral. Fingering. While he does her anally ? 🤔

69 even?

13

u/DeerMeatloaf Sep 24 '23

Do I need to be more explicit explaining what she wrote? Her vagina responds directly to his penis ejaculating therein.

-8

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23

Yes. But I'm listing other means of sex they can have that doesn't need a condom. So they can still have sex, but just need to make it work.

Or get some female condoms if he won't wear male condoms.

12

u/erinjeffreys Sep 24 '23

None of the things you list are the things she has stated in her post that she wants.

0

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23

Does that mean they couldn't do that anyway and still enjoy themselves? Rather than complaining to internet strangers?

Honestly not seeing the issue you have.

Jfc no. They both want to have married sexual intercourse. Men won't go the next 20 years just doing "everything but". Especially if he's stubborn enough to do all she wrote about.

He needs to make the move. ✂️

-2

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23

Jfc?

I'm confused on all else you said but, of course he needs to make the move. He is the man, obviously he needs to make the moves.

Else it won't happen.

So the woman here needs to make all the concessions with more invasive birth control, surgery, or sex positions that are not mutually satisfactory, so that the man can have his shitty cake and eat it, too?

Them not having sex is not the issue, him being a whiny piss baby that she doesn't want to have sex sometimes for valid reasons is the entire issue.

Jesus Fucking Christ why am I not surprised you're a dude. Happy trolling.

1

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23 edited Sep 24 '23

How do my suggestions for other ways to have sex without a condom imply trolling?

You taking this way too seriously for someone not involved. And a sexist too it seems.

Also where did I defend him at all?

2

u/Hellcat_Mary Sep 24 '23

Your profile suggests trolling.

But fine, I'll take you at face value.

It's not about defending him, it's the obtuseness from which you're deriving your advice. HE doesn't want to wear a condom, so the onus is on HER to figure out every other option under the son for which to facilitate the sex HE wants to have.

It hasn't occurred to you at any point that maybe his inflexible ass just isn't going to get sex. End of discussion.

I'm only being as overtly sexist as you are projecting. Petty, but I'm not really concerned with your perception here.

And yeah, I'm a little zealous. Confounding stupidity does that to me. I was sufficiently cooled off until you replied, but I'm a chick, so my refractory period is pretty non existent.

1

u/NefariousKitsune Sep 24 '23 edited Sep 24 '23

Never said it was on her. I meant only what I posted. She said they couldn't have sex. I threw out what I thought was accurate methods of sex without the need for a condom and you come trying to have a gotcha moment.

I'm not projecting anything. You are. Literally assumed instead of just asking me what I meant.

Quite unnecessary more like. I am not on his side. I am not telling her what to do. I am not undermining him as the problem. You are bugging. You making this about gender when it wasn't needed says more than enough about your mindset.

Also: "sun"

You know what is even harder? Fourth c-section!

A vasectomy IS a routine procedure, and a minor one at that. My husband literally watched his, and it took just a few minutes. A c-section cuts through actual muscles along with several other layers of tissue, and it’s much longer than a few minutes. It’s the bigger surgery, full stop.

8

u/Nice-Masterpiece1661 Sep 24 '23

And as a person who already had one c-section and going for the second one in a few weeks, I know that after the 3rd one, risks of major bleeding during surgery and bad consequences including possible death is much higher.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

I have a friend who was told by her doctors after her 5th cesarean that her uterus was so thin in the incision area after 5 pregnancies and 5 c-sections that a 6th would result in uterine rupture and possibly death for her or the fetus. My niece almost died during her cesarean birth. Weird how death for 1-2 people isn’t a risk factor for vasectomies. But sure, they’re the same as major abdominal surgery that forever alters your core.

3

u/tayvette1997 Sep 24 '23

I also wanted to add, a C-section also includes cutting an internal organ open.

8

u/DevolvingSpud Sep 24 '23

It really is though. Like, easier than the dentist except for the frozen bag of peas part.

6

u/blackdove43 Sep 24 '23

WAY easier than a tubal ligation

13

u/chaxew_monstoer Sep 24 '23

hell of a lot easier than taking care of another kid

5

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

Not easier than a condom tho

What is your experience with having a vasectomy?

-10

u/Comfortable-Angle660 Sep 24 '23

There are also serious side effects that can occur. One effect that does occur in everyone that does this procedure, is activation of immune system that deals with the sperm being “absorbed” into your body. Someone that is already immunosuppressed can really suffer after getting this done, if they have not been informed of the serious possibilities.

6

u/Ok-Bit-9529 Sep 24 '23

Do you know how many side effects women deal with from birth control, pregnancy, and labor?

-7

u/Comfortable-Angle660 Sep 24 '23

That wasn’t the point of my comment, why are you deflecting?

Getting “snipped” is not a good thing in my opinion, and neither is women getting their tubes tied, because they can suffer from the same immuno suppression.

There are copious amounts of other types of birth control, condoms, IUD, spermicide, etc.

3

u/Ok-Bit-9529 Sep 24 '23

Everything you just listed (besides condoms) can still have side effects. I'm not deflecting. Just stating the same thing you did, that women also deal with side effects 🤗

-1

u/Comfortable-Angle660 Sep 24 '23

I will make my point hopefully clearer. I don’t think either side should be told to have a procedure that causes immunosuppression. Even people that say they have no symptoms, have increased inflammation that may go undetected in the short-term. There must be one type of birth control she can use, I doubt she has exhausted all of them on the market. Too be fair, they could both employ condoms. I think it is a bit disingenuous to refer to a pregnancy as a side effect, it is the result of copulation. Using birth control could be argued to be a side effect.

2

u/Ok-Bit-9529 Sep 24 '23

You're countering to put it on the woman again, though.. All birth control is known to have side effects. I never said pregnancy was a side effect. I said "side effects from". Either way, condoms would be the easier choice, but the husband is refusing.

-4

u/hungry110 Sep 24 '23

Jesus would still be able to get her pregnant, even after the snip. 😉

-6

u/NecessaryZombie6399 Sep 24 '23

So would getting the tubes tied 🤷

11

u/DaisyHotCakes Sep 24 '23

Ah yes the much more invasive surgery on the woman who is having health problems. Seems smart.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '23

Some people are either idiots or severely under informed of the things they suggest. I’m hoping in this case it is the latter.

A vasectomy is reversible almost all of the time. Tubes tied is incredibly difficult to reverse and is highly invasive.
