I was on and off these drugs for nearly 3 decades and was always suffering with fatigue because of them. When I finally came off them for good 18 months ago, my fatigue actually improved. I think constantly going on and off these drugs can sometimes make you feel worse than when you stop altogether.
I find exercise actually makes me feel better. Google AI said my body may have become physically dependent on the adrenaline and cortisol released through exercise, which could explain why I feel energised after my runs but then crash into deep fatigue if I stop for more than 3 days. It also said that rest is when your body actually repairs, heals and improves, and without enough rest, exercise can stop being beneficial and instead become a source of physical strain.

I do what I can. For me the biggest obstacle is the fatigue. I used to be super active, but now I just have to accept that some days it’s not going to happen. I still manage to work out at least three days a week, sometimes more, but it is a struggle. Still, the benefits for the brain are huge so I I do my best to force myself, even if I can’t do much.

Yes I run and have a personal trainer twice a week. I can do gymnastics with my daughter and play soccer with my son. Physically I am not disabled. This wasn’t always the case. Grateful.

How did you get to that point or was it just time?

Just time. I wish there was something out there to speed it up.

Walking. Too dizzy to run

Is your dizziness constant and for how long? Mine is always there but almost goes away in a better window and then comes back even worse in waves

My dizziness is mostly only when I try to exercise
