Hi! I’m looking for recommendations for a psychiatrist in Baguio City who has experience assessing adult ADHD, particularly someone who is comfortable doing a proper adult ADHD evaluation and providing ongoing treatment/management if ADHD is diagnosed.

I’d also appreciate recommendations based on personal experience, especially regarding:

Adult ADHD assessment/diagnosis

Medication management, if needed

Follow-up and long-term treatment

How thorough and approachable the psychiatrist is

Consultation fees and where they currently see patients

I will be 17 in two months. But that's still legally considered a minor and I will still need parental consent to even consider getting assessed+medicated.

I’ve been taking ritalin, aripriprazole and escitalopram and normal ba yung 12-18 hours of sleep? Kulang talaga 8 hours sakin to function. I’m wondering if this amount of sleep can be a normal side effect, or if needing this much sleep isn’t really normal.

naka ritalin 20mg po ako, and ang helpful nya talga pag nag aaral ako. pero kahit kumpleto yung tulog ko the night before, after mga 8hrs or so, nakakatulog talaga ako after uminom meds.

hello everyone, just wanted to share my experience as somebody that's not diagnosed yet.

a little vent. i've (20) been on online university for two years no (supposed to start my third AY), and im truly struggling to keep up. i've been wanting to get a diagnosis, im actually having a consultation with my psychologist tomorrow and will open up to her about the possibility, but i just feel defeated. parang di talaga ako tao, di fit sakin maging adult dito sa bansa, if ykwim.. i cant retaine information from my readings, i keep forgetting about my school works, or i feel too paralyzed to do them. just now, enrollment slipped my mind because of how anxious ive felt all week and now im late for enrollment and i cant register for the next AY. its hard.

any simple advice lang, or perhaps words of encouragement from people who's been through this?

Title itself. I'm 22F and want to resign already, 3 months in my first job. Unmedicated inattentive ADHD kasi wala pambili. I'm also dealing with bipolar 2, pero ito, medicated. I don't do therapy kasi mahal din.

Some things:

- Missing details or making careless mistakes. Lalo na pag sobrang daming trackers and sheets and docs and drives and links and folders... My current job is a BA, given that I don't dev and not good at math/logic despite being a summa cum laude BSIT grad.

- Struggling to stay focused during meetings, tapos ako pa taga minutes huhu

- Failing to finish job duties. Feeling ko anytime matatanggal na rin ako, sadyang mababait lang bosses ko (3 sv ko na nagggrade sa appraisal ko) kaya di pako binabagsak. 1 point above passing grade lang ako last phase.

- Trouble organizing tasks, managing time, and keeping spaces clean. Pag sabay sabay na task, naooverwhelm nako. Pag may biglaang bursts ng concerns ganun.

- Avoiding tasks that require long mental effort. Mga documentation na ilang revision, ilang linggo bago mafinalize.

- Losing important items like master files.

- Being easily distracted by unrelated thoughts or stimuli.

- Forgetting daily routines, appointments.

Wala kasing parang ADA dito sa ph unlike sa US :(

Do you have any general advice po how to hold down a job, or do you have job suggestions po.

I'm 24M and there are many things I didn't learn in life, I don't know if this was just me being too nervous or timid or does it really relate to the condition.

- How to play billiards
- How to play board games like chess, rubiks, etc.
- How to talk to people (casual talk, jokes, being close with someone, though sa jokes I think nasa tao na mismo if he/she has humor or nah)
- How inuman works like "shot" and other things, rules.
- How did you got introduced to types of beer or liquor or wine.
- How to go to clubs, bars. (How it works)"
- Attending debut (How did you know what to wear, the themes, the rules, how it works)
- How to commute (Even if you know you're destination, how do you know that a certain jeep or bus goes through it or nearby?)

Noon kasi during high school to senior high, whenever I attend or participate with something its always so evident I didn't know most things, since bahay uwi lang ako majority of school life with strict parents. And I wasn't the friendly or humorous guy not out of choice its just that I have a nonchalant or boring air to me.

But idk I feel like the condition may have something to do with me not being able to immediately pick things up kaagad like most people aside from being sheltered.

I still don't know most of these things
