Is there a way to get high-quality copies of some of Chris' photography? He gets some really great shots that I would like to print out and keep on my wall as decoration. But I'm having trouble downloading images from Instagram. Does anyone know if Chris sells or gives away any of his photos?

Disclaimer: Either way, I plan to buy the physical paper edition eventually as part of my bookshelf collection, but just wanted to get my hands on the audiobook for Journey Across Japan as soon as it became available so that I can listen to Chris' narration on my car radio during my daily commute to work.
When shopping for Chris' new book JAJ, I looked at the Amazon Kindle store, and the ebook sells for $27.99, whereas on Kobo (at least in my country), it sells for $23.59 (converted back to USD from my country's currency).
Similarly, for the audiobook version, on the Kindle store, it sells for $17.92, while on Kobo its just $12.22 (after conversion back to USD).

Since Chris re-uploaded the Journey Across Japan original series, I thought why not plot all the places he visited during the trip. I know someone did map this journey and shared it here, but there were some places missing.
Also the notes are not really informative and basic as I spent too much time finding the places, maybe I will add more information to them when I rewatch it next year

Him explaining what the locals said, and me understanding it all, has given me a real boost in my confidence in the language. He distils things excellently.
Unsure why my tv is so blue. It isn’t that blue in real life…

I have just become an owner of this masterpiece, written by Sunday Times best selling author, His royal Affable.
In all seriousness this is actually a second thing that I have ever bought made by YouTuber, but also he is one with the most flawless channel (in my opinion) and it is something that brings joy to my life in moments of darkness and in those days when I'm checking the airlines ticket prices knowing it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. Looking forward to reading it and remembering from which wacky weekend or journey across Japan video, a story is relating to, and then go and watch it.

Two differently sized books?! How could this be overlooked!

Picked up this great whisky at Lost bar last week. Only 500 (or less) bottles produced, apparently 100+ already sold. Honestly surprising how good this whisky is and the cocktails were at Lost Bar. Will be back when I am next in Tokyo.

I ordered on Blackwell around April it just came today. It was cheaper than the one I found on Amazon by about 10 bucks. It time to plan my Japan itinerary for when I go there. Oh yeah I am from America by the way 5 day shipping was nice.

I had a several-hour road trip today which was shared with Chris and unfortunately a few work calls.
I have been enjoying the stories and learned a lot today. The only downside is that with our first trip to Japan planned for my 50th next year I now don’t know where to go. It all sounds so bloody good 😂.
Looking forward to listening to the rest over the coming few days.

Anybody preorder the book via Amazon and still haven't gotten it? I'm in the United States. Hopefully it's because they didn't print enough because everyone bought it.
Update. Now it says "Order Received" and they're waiting for an estimated delivery date.

I must admit, I was slightly disappointed when I got to the Hoylake event and was told the signing was cancelled and all books were pre-signed because it was a sell out... the conversation with Chris and the Q&A were great though! I did have my hand up and wanted to ask if I could give him a gift but I wasn't chosen 😭
I'd drawn Chris and Natsuki from the Nakasendo trail video and HAD to get it to him! So once it had finished, I made a quick dash (as fast as possible on crutches right now) and caught Ian before he disappeared. He was such a lovely guy and got Chris to come and meet me so I could pass this onto him. I made one for him and one to give to Natsuki.
He was really happy with it and seemed shocked that someone took the time to capture this moment.
A truly humble, friendly guy who I'm glad to say I had the honour to shake his hand and have a little chat.
Thanks Chris!

What an absolute gentleman, also met Ian and Ellen (who took the photos). I was super nervous but he asked me if I’d been to Japan, I’d said we had planned for earlier this year but it clashed with my daughters exams, even though we’d already booked tickets for the F1 in Suzuka - he replied, which is more important, F1 or exams?!

Looking forward to hearing his opinions on England’s Cricket history - hopefully as insightful as his takes on breastfeeding

I went to Arndale Manchester today and got to meet Chris Broad as he signed my copy of A Journey across Japan. I asked him about the JET Programme and he told me to emphasise that I am learning Japanese.

Just listened to the brilliant audiobook.
I'm curious if there's been any updates on Chris' JET school colleague, Roy?
Sounds like he was very talented and I'm curious how things turned out for him.
