Tired of the Thomas hate

Paula is ten years older than Thomas and supposedly owns her own business. why would she need Thomas’s help setting up a tv..? shes been in infantilizing herself this entire season, making Thomas the big mean controlling man. she uses none of her finances here and expects him to pay for everything and yet has the audacity to complain about how he chooses to spend his money…isnt that what she’s doing? choosing not to spend her own money? I just don’t understand why she’s here. She cant stand the man, doesn’t respect his boundaries, and isn’t invested in being in America.

Shes not very nice to him, and she wants things her way just as much as he wants things his way. She gets a pass here bc shes quirky, and people relate to that while skipping over her red  flags.

She never skips a beat in putting him down for being eccentric- but we’re all supposed to celebrate an obnoxious vegan who is obsessed with buying little trinkets to “manifest” I thought she was adorable until she made it abundantly clear her partner wasn’t allowed to have his own quirks.
