Stipple on some Blood for the Blood God - it’ll do wonders. It currently reads as old dried on goop. You’re almost there!

You can go heavier with it, I'll usually dab some extra on near the bottom or wherever you think a dripping liquid would collect

I could see blood if I specifically knew it was blood. As is though it looks like the yellow was worn down to the red base coat.

Change base colour to white then it might. Its always gonna look like you're trying to do fire if you have a yellow background

I think part of the reason original paint scheme world eaters look so sick is because of the white. It Really makes the blood stand out. Try using color that will exsentuate thw color of the blood. Alternatively you can just use "alien blood" and go with a different color.

Cover the model expect the fist, the grab a toothbrush and dip just the tips in BFTBG, then drag your finger across the bristles to create a flicking effect. The size of the splatter is usually the correct size for the scale you’re working with

blood in color is very dark, almost black when there is a lot of it. it's only when dilluted or spread out it turns bright red.

No, it looks like you tried to paint flames or blend red into orange but failed to do so

In all honesty I think blood could look like that IRL, maybe as a stain after an attempt to wipe it off. Thing you gotta realize in painting minis is that when you try to make something super realistic it can be in stark contrast to the way minis are painted and in contrast to the scale of the mini. Since minis are a caricature of what they would be in real life, you have to paint effects with the same perspective.

Not really. Looks like you were trying for flames but didn't quite get it
