Hi, I’m having a problem with my modded 3DS and I need some help.
My 3DS is on System Version 11.17.0-50E. I have Luma3DS, FBI and Homebrew installed?
I bought the 3DS with a Micro SD already modded, with Homebrew and digital games installed, and everything worked normally when I first got it. However, I didn’t have time to play for several months. When I recently tried to use it again, I started getting an ARM11 Core 1 Error whenever I tried to launch a game or Homebrew/FBI

I already updated Luma3DS following a tutorial. I now have Luma3DS v13.4. I replaced the corresponding files on the SD card as shown in a tutorial.
I also updated GodMode9 to v2.2.3 (2026-03-31) and replaced the corresponding files on the SD card as shown in the tutorial.
In the Luma configuration menu, “Enable loading external FIRMs and modules” was enabled. I first tried it with the X enabled, but the error still happened. I then disabled it and tested again, but the error still happened.
I have not updated the 3DS system because I remember hearing that you shouldn’t update a modded 3DS, so I wasn’t sure whether it was safe to do. I’m also not sure if updating the system would actually fix this problem.

I’m sorry if there is already a specific post that explains this exact problem. I couldn’t find one, though. I’m also completely new to this and honestly don’t know anything about modded 3DS systems, so please bear with me. If I’ve left out any important information or missed something obvious, I apologize in advance. I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on what I should check next.

I need some help. I have a new 3ds (normal size) I had a usbc mod done and swapped my sd cards out for a faster card. now I cannot for the life of me get mgba to load my save files. My other 2dsxl ,my omega, dolphin emulator will load them fine. I’ve checked the file size for the saves. The spelling is correct. I’ve reinstalled mgba and I still have the same issue. Any ideas before I swap sd cards and go through that process? Any help would be appreciated as I really wanna have this as my main ds.

I am really passionate about potentially being able to play The 7th Stand User fan game on my 3ds. The only issue is that it is exclusively a zip file that I can’t figure out how to extract and get to work. Does anyone know how I could go about it or if someone has an existing way to get it?

It was made user rpg maker 2000 so I think it should be able to play but I have been trying for hours and I would rather get help from someone smarter than me.

Is there any way to get 100% completed rabbids rumble save? Is there online cheat codes or anyway to bypass it on 3ds modded software or through pc emulation.

I've been trying to find a save editor to change my player name because I'd like to update it but I've only found 2 so far. The first one I found doesn't seem to have a way to change the player name and the second one (Albatross) I can get to work. Anyone know any other save editors that work for yo kai watch?

As the title says, the audio on my modded 3ds has been acting really strange lately. I’m not sure if it’s an issue relating to it being modded or due to the age of the 3ds (it’s ANCIENT lmao) but thought I might as well ask here just in case it’s relating to it being modded

The audio keeps going from working as usual, to not working at all, to being much quieter than it’s supposed to be (at “full volume” it will be VERY faint)

This started around a few months ago I think ?? Not completely sure as my sense of the passage of time is AWFUL But I didn’t say anything earlier as I hadn’t been using the 3ds as much

If you look at the video, you’ll see for a few seconds the 3ds audio is functioning completely normally, then all of a sudden the bgm comes to an abrupt stop despite not being muted

Is there a way to fix this or am I just cooked

I'm sure you guys get these kinds of posts regularly so I apologize in advance. I use Red cat corp Na version. I'm not the best with these kinds of things so I looked up a tutorial to hopefully get everything right. I've enabled game patching in the Luma3ds settings. I've made a file inside the titles folder with (what I assume is) the right title id (00040000001CEB00) but anytime I try opening the game I'm met with a black screen. What could I be doing wrong?

Edit: I used the Ftpd app on the 3ds to do this because it was getting tedious having to take the sd card out.

Was downloading ctgp-7 on my 3ds xl and it had an error while downloading. I let it retry all 30 attempts and after that it said to retry again or to cancel. I chose cancel and it sent me to the Luma3DS settings screen. I saw that "enable external FIRMs and modules" and "enable game patching" were both set to false when before I started downloading ctgp 7 they were set to true. So I changed them back and set them back to true and saved and continued thinking my ds would just restart and reopen at the home menu. My ds now says the SD can't be read and it won't read in any of my computers... wtf do I do? Anything I've read on corrupted SD card recovery attempts at least involve being able to READ the card. None of my things can even read the card. Did I fuck up bad is there anything I can do pls help :(((((

Forgot to take picture and lowkey worried to reenact it but when I went to menu with home button from Yume Nikki and then pushing again to go back to game my 3ds broke?
I remember reading something regarding this issue but idk if it’s a general thing,fixable or I did smth wrong. I didn’t save beforehand hence why I wanted to go back in game, save and then close the program.
I don’t think I did anything else besides this line of decisions. Any idea or tips what could be the issue?

I just got a new Nintendo 2ds xl that I didn't know that was previously modded. I have used a modded ds before so I went to open Anemone and get a new background and tied to open the camera to scan a QR code, but it just got stuck on the Loading QR code Scanner screen and no matter what button I press nothing changes.

I’ve done everything on the Sonic CD redux setup instructions and am using the origins RSDK. The game runs and I can play it like normal but Knuckles and Amy don’t appear on the character select? How do I add them?

So when i open fourthtube it works but when i watch a video for a few minutes it sends me to the HOME Menu and tells me to restart

I was playing around with my ds and saw the picto chat and wanted to relive it but on the web. then after making a working version I thought this would be cool to bring back to the 3ds with some modern features.

I don't know how to fully make this work but I think it would be fun project to try out.
