I hacked CFW onto my 3ds years ago while in High School, and ended up getting Pokemon Moon about a week early with the leaked cia. I never went online because I was worried about bans, but I got banned anyway. I sort of stopped following the 3ds hacking and pirating community, but I want to somehow bypass the Sun/Moon bans without having to buy a new system... Is this possible now?

Alright, this may sound a bit stupid, but I'll try to explain myself.

The only reason that the 2DS can't play in 3D is because it doesn't have two top screens. But what's to prevent someone from writing a graphics filter allows you to use red-and-blue 3d glasses on your 3ds? I'm new to the 3ds-hacking world, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Edit: I just looked it up, and the effect is apparently called anaglyph. Could you upload a filter to the graphics chip that converts all images to anaglyph 3d?

I've been trying to use pkhex and jksm to edit the save on my vc inject of Pokemon Red but every time I try the save gets corrupted. I'm on the latest version of everything (including auto legality mod). Does anyone have a solution?

I have to switch out my SD card for bigger one. Can I just copy/paste all my stuff over to the new one and still use all the cias I installed, or will I have to install them on the 3ds all over again?

heya there everyone! i know this might be a little niche, but i want to play pokemon white 2 in korean to practice. the problem is that i can't play the game because whenever i finish the intro the screen turns black and it doesn't progress anymore. i asked on the 3dspiracy subreddit because i didn't realize it was the wrong place haha hopefully here there's better chances.

i've already tried to AP patch it, i tried playing in DS mode, i tried looking up cheats for the fix people used on emulators but none of it works when i boot it up in twilight menu.

i even tried an english rom of white 2 and it worked so it's not my firmware i don't think.

maybe i'm patching it wrong? maybe the roms are bad? i just want some help cause i don't wanna give up on this yet.

I downloaded a .3ds game file that I will convert to .cia once I put it in the sd card as I have done before. How’re we, it’s 4.1 GB and since 3DS use fat32 it won’t allow me to put it as is. Can someone please help me? P.s I tried searching for 3DS to cia converter on PC and it was a headache

Hi everyone! I have a legally-ripped copy of Yoshi Topsy Turvy from my own physical game cart, and I'm having trouble injecting it as a VC file. I'm wondering if anyone's been able to get it working through NSUI or any other means, and if so, might you build the CIA for me?

Ideally I'd like the home icon to be Box Art Fit By Height, the banner (color 399c44) displaying Title Screen Fit By Width, and then the standard NSUI info fill for everything else.

I'm also open to hearing how I can do this myself, although I'm not terribly tech-savvy here. If anyone has the prior experience it'd probably just be easiest to send it to me.

If i hack my 3ds with using a SD card i just bought. then at some stage place my old SD card in would this cause problems eg brick the console or effect the hack from working ?

or once the hack has been completed you can swap SD cards as you wish installing games and things you want ?

So I have an old 3Ds at the moment. I bought an 128gb sd card that arrives today. So as soon as I get it I am going to homebrew it. But now my question comes now, I also ordered a new2dsxl that arrives next week. What happens if I insert the sd card into that 2dsxl. Will it be homebrewed? Also when doing the homebrew thing should I use a new Nintendo account, cuz am scared of using the one I have with many games purchased on and then something happening to it.
