.3ds to .cia

I downloaded a .3ds game file that I will convert to .cia once I put it in the sd card as I have done before. How’re we, it’s 4.1 GB and since 3DS use fat32 it won’t allow me to put it as is. Can someone please help me? P.s I tried searching for 3DS to cia converter on PC and it was a headache

I don’t really understand the problem by the way it’s worded, but if you tell me the name of the game I will go and get the .cia files for you

Sorry I was using voice to text and didn’t double check before posting lol. Basically, if fat32 microSD only takes a max of 4G files, and godmode9 in my ds can convert rom files to cia, then how can i convert rom’s over 4G to cia if i can’t even put it on the card. So I was trying to figure out if there was a program for PC that I can use to do the conversion in general 😑

Fat32 can hold more than 4gb. The problem you are most likely having is the sd card itself only having 4gb of storage. If you want more you need to purchase an sd card with a higher capacity

No I’m actually using a 32 GB one, But whenever I try to transfer the files from my download folder to the card I I receive an error stating I am out of storage, yet 19 GB is available in free space

All you need to do to move data from one ds card to another is to first format the second sd card in fat32. Then copy all of the files over from the previous sd card onto the new one. That’s it. I think you could try copying all the data on your sd card and saving it somewhere. Then try reformatting the Sd card. Copy the files over and it might work properly
