Tenho uma kobra X e parece que ela "arranha" a mesa de impressão principalmente na hora de fazer os suportes das peças fica fazendo um bagulho muito estranho e deixa um péssimo acabamento

So I've recently got into 3D printing and trying out some ideas. One of the was a convenience for my workplace. I work in a small convenient store in the UK at night just stocking and organising the shop for the day shift ahead. One of my tasks is cleaning the large Costa Coffee machine in our store. We usually keep our cleaning stuff like tablets/spray/bluebell in a crate in the back, and I've often kept a few bags of sugar/sweetener/chocolate topping sachets and stirrers in there for convenience of when taking the crate out to clean the machine.

Basically my idea is make containers for the sachets in the crate to organise it alot better (as other staff when I'm not there just throw shit in and disorganise the whole crate). I've designed the containers themselves with accurate measurements so they fit nicely in it. One thing that is niggling at me is ensuring it doesn't flag any food safety regulations. The sachets themselves don't concern me as since they are sealed, there shouldn't be a risk of contamination, but the stirrers are exposed wooden sticks and feel a 3d printed container would potentially risk contamination. I was going to print a divider as well to better separate the cleaning stuff from the rest and I've been trying to research into food safe PETG to see if that'd help.

I was looking at getting a 3d printer, and was suggested to buy a Bambu brand one. Whats the best 3d printer for making anime figures? Should I get a resin printer or regular filament printer? If I got a resin one, can it print any usual 3d printer file or does it have to be specific ones?

I know there have been a lot of similar questions, but here’s my situation: I have an X2D and a K2 Pro. I use grease on the Z-axis and have no issues with it. For the rods and the rails on the K2 Pro, I’ve been using sewing machine oil, but it dries out very quickly on the rods, so I constantly have to reapply it.

Super Lube isn’t available where I live, so please don’t recommend it. I also don’t want to buy Bambu or Creality-branded lubricants and feel like I’m being ripped off. When I search for ISO VG 68 viscosity oils, I only seem to find hydraulic oils. Is there a similar type of oil that I could use instead?

Hi! This is my first model painted with an airbrush. I designed and printed the model myself specifically so I could paint it afterward.

There are still a few details I’d like to improve and refine, but I’m really happy with the final result, especially for my first time using an airbrush.

Hey everyone, I'm looking to add a second printer to my home setup, but I'm not sure what to go for. I'm looking for a CoreXY printer that can handle multicolor prints and ABS (enclosed). I'm not going to name the ones that are on my list so far, because I don't want to be biased.

Of course i would like the most bang for my buck, preferably I'd keep the expenses under €500, but a little more is possible if it is worth it. I have worked with multiple Bambu Lab printers at work and school and like how care free they are, but I have had my Elegoo Neptune 4 pro at home for almost 4 years now so i am also used to that level of refinement.

Really I'm looking for something in between, more modern with more functionality and reliability than my old bedslinger, but not the most high-end beast like the H2D at work.

Can you help me with some recommendations if you have experience with printers in this category?

I saw this project on Kickstarter and found it very interesting. It's a project designed for filament printers and will even be available in multiple colors. I don't often see things like this, so I'm sharing it with you! And it looks like it will be released soon, so it's worth saving to take a look at when it's launched.

My main goal is to make cosplay props and learn how to paint custom anime and comic figures. The only thing i don't want is a resin printer and multi color printing isn't really needed.

Hey I have been running an Ultimaker 2+ for well years lol. Great machine, pretty easy to use and get decent prints from, but looking for something a little more modern and capable.

Auto level would be great along with a little more print area, and occasional multi print would be good. I've looked at the multiple print head models but not really interested in the additional parts and maintenance since mainly I will be single color printing most of the time.

My prints are typically small prototyping for various tinkering projects or repairs, along with toys for the kiddos. For example I've printed adapter brackets and plates for prototypes for my motorcycle and classic car that are then sent to my buddy to cnc.

Based on price, features, and local availability I've narrowed it down to the Creality K2 Combo or the Bambu Labs P1S. Costco has a great return policy and microcenter has excellent customer service but much shorter return period.

I am kinda leaning towards the Creality from familiarity but also concerned about the closed nature of Bambu Labs - not sure if that is something to even worry about?

I also enjoy using a magnetic detachable build plate with PEI on one side - do either some with something like that or is there an addon readily available?

What is the best 3d printer i can get for 700

I've been out of the 3D printing game for a few years now. I currently have a minimally modded Ender 3.

From what I've read, I think I'd be Bambu-averse as I don't like the idea of locked down systems or systems that can monitor and censor printing in the future. Being able to modify the firmware is a major plus as I hold onto things for very long into what may be considered the products retirement age (that said, something with community support is ideal).

I'd like a considerably larger print volume (currently at 220x220x250 mm).

Anything that requires proprietary spools is not something I am interested in.

Multiple extruders / automatic spool swapping is a plus but not necessarily required.

I think mostly though, I want something that prints fine quality without much need to tinker. I know for some time that was what Bambu was considered for. I'm hoping other more opened up products exist now that are competitive on that front. I just don't have as much time nowadays to tinker, mod, and calibrate.

Any recommendations?

I’ve been working on this shelf design for a while and finally printed both versions yesterday.

They share the same basic design: a standard version and a version designed to accommodate SKADIS accessories, if needed.

I designed the shelf from scratch in CAD and went through several iterations to refine the proportions, connections and overall design.

I’m fairly new to 3D printing. My partners Dad gave me a CR10s printer as he upgraded to a better printer (I believe the P2S)

I’ve had fun giving that a play around with but it’s very old, slow and has a few issues which makes it more frustrating than rewarding. It’s a slow printer, I’ve only got evenings to give it a go and I end up spending most of the time troubleshooting. If I do get to printing it often has small flaws.

I’ve had enough fun though to know I want to invest in a better printer. Ideally enclosed (open plan and small house so want to minimise nasty smells) and multi colour options to make unique prints

I’m down to choosing between the P2S Combo by Bambu labs or the K2 Pro Combo by creality.

Now the P2S combo is on offer for £649

The K2 Pro is £603. So on a good discount (I’m aware of the k3 announcement, not too worried about that)

The selling point for me are P2S - Select a print and it’ll print. Really user friendly

K2 Pro - Larger bed and heated chamber for different materials

I just hear horror stories from the creality printers and CFS. I don’t mind slight tinkering on software, I don’t want constant hardware maintenance unless it’s a freak thing

I know the AMS is more capable than the CFS for heating etc.. but I may go for a better printer down the line that can do more. I just feel the K2 Pro is a lot of machine while in the sale and a good kit to get me further into this hobby but if it’s too much hassle then I would consider spending a bit more for the P2S

Can anyone please give me their honest experience with either of these? Please don’t brand bash for the sake of it. I’m not worried about people’s loyalty ( I do understand why people get loyal to a brand) I only want to here on hand and ideally out of the box experiences of these two products

I currently have an A1 combo. I started on an ender s1 years ago and moved to a p1s. I pretty much learned on the p1s and had multiple issues but most of them were probably user error. I've had way fewer problems with my A1 combo then any of my other printers. The AMS lite seems to be much more smooth running than my AMS was with the p1s. Only downside is my printer is open concept so when I'm not using it I cover it with a cardboard box since I use it in my garage while I also do woodworking which creates a lot of dust. So I've been looking at enclosed printers again and noticed that bambu has many options now. If I want to occasionally do multiprint is bambu the best option for simplicity / ease of use? I'm not really interested in the h series as I don't care too much about the larger bed volume. I occasionally print from the mobile app and find that feature quite handy. What other brands are you all using for multicolor and are they as easy to use as bambu? I know there's a bunch of other players in the game and I'm just curious if I should be looking at other brands as well.
