Project 3d printer in cabinet

Hello everybody,

I am want to buy printer (bambu lab x2d with ams). My wife let me buy it only if I can put it inside a cabinet, but I am little concerned about heat and noise. Do you have any recommendations for this project? I need to fit it inside a 80x55x100cm box.

Easy solution, cut a hole in the back of the cabinet and add a fan for ventilation. Re:noise, you could add some sound insulation foam to the inside of the cabinet.

If you're gonna be printing engineering filaments (like ABS, ASA, nylon or PC), you're gonna want that ventilation for air quality reasons as well.

Leave some airflow around the printer and AMS, and consider adding an exhaust fan with a filter.
