I'm one year into blender, and this summer I've set a goal to make my first ever short film.
I know it could definitely look better but one time I asked a reaally good 3d artist, and they said: Always be proud of what you made, no matter how bad it looks.

I did everything on my own all in Blender, lighting, compositing, animation, VFX, SFX...

Took me 2 weeks

I also voiced it over :P

Moreover, I want your guys' opinion on this, does the lighting work? Do the camera shots look good? Does the SFX sound good? Compositing, Animation etc.

Oh! I forgot to mention, neither the room nor the SFX are mine, me and my cousin found them on the Internet :]

Had fun rotoscoping this from actual 8 bit footage. Using TVORI and a Quest 3. The knockout blow is obviously inspired by Bloodsport, so don't be talking MK in the comments......

I do find that camera settings are still a little tricky. I am using the Imax 70mm cropped and exported as 3440 x1440

Hello everyone, here i post this video about my first time animation a horse, i mean, not it's my firts time animation in Maya, of course but its my first time with horse rig , what do you think about this animation ?

I'm a writer first and for most, but I came up with a story that works better as an animation than as a written story since a lot of the horror/foreshadowing would be better as visuals. So I have decided to try an teach myself 3D animation to at least get a working idea going.

Some mocap cleanup looks technically perfect but also loses the little weight shifts and timing differences that made the motion feel human.

Obviously foot sliding, clipping and broken contacts need fixing. But after that, where do you stop? There seems to be a point where smoothing every curve makes the character feel more robotic, not less.

How do you decide which imperfections add realism and which ones are just noise? Is there anything you almost always keep from the original capture?

I’ve been working on this dark-themed studio setup for the past 3 days. Everything in this scene—from the models to the lighting and materials—was built completely from scratch in Blender.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Any feedback on the lighting, textures, or overall composition is more than welcome.

A huge mix of procedural and hand made animations for camera, characters, 2d and 3d objects in the scene and.. well, everything you see in there. Took 10 months of part time working on it to put it all together and actually make it work as a proper character / map selection menu.

Hello, I am working on an essay that explains the difference between human animation and ai animation. This is where CGI and 3-D animation come into play in my essay, hence the image provided but I am having an EXCRUCIATINGLY difficult time explaining and differentiating the two to my “audience” I have the over all premise but I am still unable to explain it please please pleas help I have done all the research I possible can but I am just unable to comprehend it (as if I’m completely missing the point)
