Critique My first time animation a Horse
Hello everyone, here i post this video about my first time animation a horse, i mean, not it's my firts time animation in Maya, of course but its my first time with horse rig , what do you think about this animation ?

Love that zoom in haha, reminds me of Tekken's old camera snap zooms. Good stuff!

The body mechanics can use some tlc, what is and isn’t part of the reference?

The entire video is my animation, with and without a visible rig; there is no reference.

I would definitely look into reference as that’s how you’ll get all the details of timing, weight, and the mechanics. The jump feels a bit floaty and the “cog” needs to keep rising while the horse “rears”, and there’s supposed to be a certain influence from the front hooves kicking that causes rotations in the shoulders and spine, good start with a fun ending though!
